Starting November Apple will enact a 30% fee if you subscribe for the FIRST TIME through the Apple iOS Patreon app.
If you are currently using the App and already have a membership, you will not have to pay the fee. But if you ever unpledge and then come back to my Patreon through this app, you will be charged a 30% fee. So if you pledge through an Apple product, do it through an internet browser and NOT THE APP.
In this vein I would like to ask how many of you actually pay through this method, so I can gauge the usefulness of maybe opening a SubscribeStar to make it more convenient, and most importantly, cheaper, for Apple users.
