Sounds like Anton was suggesting that this could work in other industries too (outside of IT). Can anyone else name some?

chardinHOPE

Man! 😮‍💨

Kevin Hall

This is a nice hack! Very similar to outsourcing project working overseas.

MEANS CHARLES

I feel dumb 🤣🤣

Rash AG

Wow, it seems so simple but it never occurred to me. This is legit a life hack.

Christopher Clemmons

This works, I did this last year just to see how I can handle it. Easy f*cking money. Currently getting back into it. Formatting your resume is the main thing since it will get you the initial phone call.

Michael Burney

Top level game.

Chris Rodney

No lies spoken here. Only truth.

tameika reed

Yeah DC is a sweet spot but there little areas surrounding that are just as good. Do you have team now? If so have you responded to a rfp or rfi yet

AA Ron

Ok cool I’m in the ICAM space I’ve done some IT work at a hospital though

AA Ron

Lets link on some business stuff. I’m in the IDAAS space, SecOps…trying to garnish some contracts since I’m here in the Govt space of DC

Jay Israel

What do you mean being off camera?

Jay Israel

Very interesting, so when you get hired, do you get as a independent contractor or an agency type of contract, allowing to legally do this if you get what I mean?

Paige Codrington

could we get a template of your resume? and happy belated Anton! new bag chaser over here!

Jeremy Clay

This is some game right here 🔥

Reuben Okonkwo

Whoa Anton got a "Coding Army". Sheesh. Next step a Cyber Security Army why not nice to see a black real down to earth CEO. Also, i like the fact that you trained your own people. This is best knowledge transfer video interesting this is sorta how the Navy Seals do it except of course not for money. Wow the way Anton leveraged this "knowledge transfer" is truly incredible. I'll have to have a meeting with my brothers. I've been working remotely for 13 yrs.

There is a similar underground movement going on. This site has some sauce. https://overemployed.com/

Great tip. I'm familiar with this outsourcing idea but always thought companies making you a w2 employee would be the stumbling block. I'll look into this again.

What part of IT are you in?

AA Ron

What niche are you in?

tameika reed

If you are going to do this I would suggest getting insurance for protection. Even though you may have vetted people you just want to make sure are covered in case of bad actors. Remember the biggest threat to any company is from the inside. My other suggestion is to setup some type outside code repository or another branch and do a code review with you and the person you hired. It gives you chance, one to explain the thought process and for you to see the code before submission. My last suggestion is to record the meetings on your laptop in case you are not there so you can review any changes. Finally you can do this on W2 side but it’s tax liability. That is an issue. So you have to get creative with your tax credits and tax deductions. I would also look up overemployment. There is a website for it.For example, say on W2 side you made 75k a month you will need tax credits or tax deductions. If you did 1099 you have more leverage but you still need some breaks. This is where real estate and trust come into play. Some call it being fancy. I call it protecting assets. Charitable remainder trusts, SEP Iras, and so forth. I prefer tax credits, real estate, investing into other charities, and so forth. I hope this helps. I do it both ways 1099 and W2.

Derrick

Great info

Message taken and applied. Thank you brother. I appreciate you.

How do we get access to that resume software template

Mark Johnson

Run that resume template!!! That is the most impressive resume I've seen in quite some time. I would like to leverage that, or use something similar as this stands out above the rest.

Don’t limit yourself to software engineering. This can be done in numerous tech role if they meet the three requirements Anton said in the video

Kahlil Simmons

I work as a PM currently. What are some of the best avenues to learn UX design

Carlos Derico

I believe he's saying it has to be a remote job, where the employer isn't constantly keeping tabs on you. A job that doesn't require you to be in an office, or a job that is remote, but wants you to have your camera on to see that you're working. Basically you want an employer that doesn't necessarily have to see that you're doing the work, but an employer whose only concern is having the jobs completed.

Jessica LaShawn

This was really insightful! I see how I can leverage this same framework with my Consulting firm and my Mentoring Program on a higher level. The only thing I am missing is certifications. Thank you for this!

Hugh V. Howell

This was great, just one thing, what do you mean by being off camera?

Jalisa

Wow. I am a software engineer now and I never thought about outsourcing a job. I was looking into getting a second job and now Ill make sure its a contracting gig.

Jeffrey Appiah-Essandoh

Love the video!!

Pierre Hall

What if I don't work in that field? How long does it take to learn?

Ugo U.

This is solid game. To make even more, outsource your work to devs in India; their cost of living is much lower

Xavier muckelvaney

This right here is a gem .I just told someone a business idea that pretty much breaks down just like this and I just thought it was illegal .tons of information here !

Thanos Theory Technologies LLC

I see this meal came with dessert! Keep cooking Big Dawg!

Marc Evans

I’m tryna figure how to utilize this as a graphic designer

The luxury Bucket List

Wow this was some game right there now that you said this it’s obvious but some insist having you on camera. I could roll out a few scrum masters though providing it works for me. This is brilliant. I’m going to need to start training some agile folks and get my interviews together. I’m actually able to certify folks. I may look to do that too. That would allow those folks to be on camera

Maria Mendoza

Loving this idea! I actually thought of doing this last year, but my IT niche is somewhat specialized. Gotta start thinking about this again 🤔

Mike Hayes

This is gold. I literally thought about leveraging my work with the folks that I've helped get jobs as developers. I'm glad to know that I'm on the right track! Thanks Anton for the gems!

Carrington

Do you find the talent before you get the contracts, or vice versa? Also, what method do you recommend for beginners in this for finding talent?

Lo Dunford

Great video with solid information!

Great idea to leverage your expertise and train up the next generation 🙌🏿 a boutique staffing agency. QUESTION: how are the meetings handled? I assume it's you, off cam, prepped with your team's notes. If so, does the team member have another way of learning client-facing presentation skills?

Mase

This video is gold. Thank you Mr. Daniels

Big Suggs

Ya zirrrr... Here we go! This is straight game!!!!
