Margin loans are actually horrible to buy stocks and hold. Where margin is great at is for traders. If you trade stocks/penny stocks it gives you average 3x buying power of what you have in the account. If you're an options trader margins give you the ability to trade with the brokers money. In a cash account your money is deducted as you buy. With a margin account the money recycles as you buy and sell. So for long holds never use. But for traders its the best thing ever

Can't see the Vimeo video? As of OCT2023 @Tech Coach Ralph found the following workaround for this Patreon bug β‘οΈ "if you click on the 3 dots in the top right to expand a menu and chose 'Copy Link' to open in your web browser choose the option to stay on web if it pops up (don't open in app) you should be able to play the video."
