Thanks for the response! It's great that you guys are listening to feedback. Amazing to hear about the work on the UI and especially the sprites. Nothing against Ren'py, is a great tool and it accomplishes what is supposed to really well, but considering the amount of work you guys are putting into this, a new engine will probably be of great benefit. What really excites is that you mentioned the story revision. I'm not a professional writer or anything, but I think everything is pretty well written, but IMO it loses substance to the sex jokes and constant sexual innuendos that the story has. That's a furry trope that makes actual romance and the actual sex scenes a little less impactful. It's just my opinion, maybe people like that and I just think differently. Excited for the Steam release.

Hey there, thank you for the feedback! It really means a lot to us. On your point about the UI being generic and sprites being bland, we are planning a big overhaul for UI that will bring the game more in tone with the main menu styling. We're also going to revise the entire story and add more expressions to the sprites. (we already have some expressions ready, it's just a matter of marking the spots in the game where they should be added). These should all come within the next few builds (Q1 2020), together with an engine switch (see the Patreon posts about moving to Godot) which will make many of the development processes easier for us. I hope this cleared out a few things about what's to come, and thank you again for your input!

I'm gonna be honest here. There is one thing that keeps me from playing and maybe even supporting this game. I like the idea and the effor being put to make this look apart from the other generic Renpy VNs is amazing, but so many great improvements are being made while some of the character sprites feel dated (some of them don't blend well with the backgrounds). No intention of being rude, it's just that I want so much to get into this and there is so little for it to be great, but IMO it's not quite there yet. I would go as far as saying that the humor and the furry VN tropes it has are also damaging, but that's just me. Seeing this intro video is amazing! I really hope that investment of this quality is made in the rest of the game too. Also looking foward to a Steam release.
