🕑 Added 2023-08-16 19:33:32 +0000 UTCDD Beta 19 is now the latest beta version and most new features are starting to feel quite good. Now it's mostly a case of rounding out some of the new content and polish things up.
There's going to be a number of new characters in the base game that may appear occasionally and I'm having a lot of fun creating their profile pictures. These are two of them :3

There is a breaking change in beta 39 that means portrait art has to be given a path relative to the mod root. This will break all mods that previously had character definitions with portraits, but needed to be done. I'm not sure if this error is just that I forgot to fix this in the example mod, or if there is something wrong with the function. I will have a look. Thanks for reporting it! And I agree, it really has become a lot now :D

With 1.7.39, I'm getting an error regarding portrait art. Even loading the example-mod gives me: Could not find modded image at "mod.com.blushingdefeat.example-mod://characters/portrait1.webp" (while I"m at it, I'll say it again; bonkers the extra amount of customizability you've added)

Bug! I remember fixing something similar for the other stage dialogues. I will have a look at it.

When editing endStage, I can modify the first line of text, but anything beyond that is skipped, including additional lines of text such as the default "Are you happy with our little deal?" line from the demon, and any Options I try to set up. Seems to jump straight to the Epilogue choices. Is it a bug, or just a limitation of the epilogue code to keep crazy stuff from happening?
