“Peaceful, isn’t it.”
The city visible from the inn window looked both splendid and lively.
People were drinking and making merry.
After repelling the lich, the city was celebrating with a festival.
“It’s all thanks to you, Master.”
Karin looked at me with her usual gentle expression.
“I wish I could be that peaceful, too.”
Winning so far was good.
But on the other hand, the future didn’t look so peaceful.
“Are you worried about something?”
“I just have a feeling things are going to get a little troublesome.”
Defeating the zombie dragon and now the lich-news of these feats would soon reach the Demon King’s ears.
Especially since I’d openly advertised these as victories for humanity.
“Sigh…”
I sat on the windowsill and brought a wine bottle to my lips.
The spreading sweetness and the aroma of ripe fruit soothed my worries.
Unless the Demon King was an idiot, I was now marked as a person of interest.
After ruining his plans several times, he wouldn’t just let me be.
“Is it because of the Demon King?”
“Yeah. He’s probably grinding his teeth and aiming for my head right about now.”
“I doubt he’ll succeed.”
Karin smiled and came closer, her eyes playful yet full of trust.
Her lovely face, enough to make any man’s heart race, blew my worries away.
“You’re the strongest person I know, Master.”
“Well… I don’t plan on going down easily. If anything, I’d rather mess with him even more.”
“I thought you would.”
I’d have to keep thoroughly interfering with the Demon King, with as much annoyance as he’s caused me.
I didn’t have any grand sense of justice, but the fact that he was an enemy to those around me was reason enough to oppose him.
“Then, shall we enjoy a little of the victor’s leisure?”
I took another sip of wine and Karin looked at me with curiosity.
“Aren’t you going to the festival?”
“I think that would just be a hassle.”
Right now, I was probably the most famous person in this city.
After playing cult leader and fighting in the battle, it was no surprise.
But being called “hero, hero” while drinking would just sour my mood.
“If you want to enjoy the festival, go ahead. Unlike me, you have your own kind here.”
“I prefer being by your side, Master.”
“Glad I don’t have to drink alone, then.”
I smiled awkwardly and handed Karin the wine bottle.
Unexpectedly, she took a sip and then leaned in for a kiss.
“…”
Her sweet scent teased my nose.
A hazy, blissful feeling clouded my mind.
The taste of wine mixed with her saliva made it even sweeter.
Karin’s uncharacteristically forward behavior surprised me, but I decided to enjoy the moment.
Before I knew it, the wine was gone and our tongues were entwined.
“Haaah…”
When the passionate kiss ended, a long string of saliva connected us before breaking.
Karin wore the brightest smile I’d ever seen on her.
Her beautiful, sincere golden eyes looked straight into mine.
“No matter what happens, I’m always on your side, Master.”
She meant it.
Even if I threw away the hero business and ran, she’d follow me to the end.
“Thank you. That really lifts my spirits.”
Having someone you could always trust and rely on was more uplifting than I’d expected.
I couldn’t help but smile as I enjoyed the cool breeze coming into the room and her loving gaze.
“Then, shall we enjoy a little leisure, just the two of us, as you said?”
Karin’s eyes suddenly glimmered with a hint of sensuality.
With a seductive motion, she licked up the wine that had dripped down from our kiss, starting at her neck.
The sensation of her moist tongue moving slowly from her neck to her lips.
The decadent act stirred excitement in me.
Her natural, seductive behavior made my lower body stir with desire.
She leaned in so close I could feel her breath.
With a sweet, sultry voice, she whispered in my ear.
“…How about it?”
Yeah. I could think about plans later-right now, it was best to enjoy the moment.
Enjoy when you can, worry later.
My instincts were already growing stronger.
“It’s… not bad at all.”
I stood up and closed the window.
Since the window was more like a wooden board than glass, the room was instantly plunged into darkness.
In the pitch black, all I could feel was her skin and breath.
I could focus mana in my eyes to see, but somehow, I liked it this way.
“Should I light a candle?”
“No… I think it’ll be fun to do it like this.”
Sex in the dark might be interesting.
Just thinking about it sent a strange thrill through my body.
Since I couldn’t see anyway, I closed my eyes and groped for her body in the darkness, pulling her into an embrace.
“Ah…”
The soft feel of her skin under my fingertips.
Her sweet scent, more intense than before.
I’d heard somewhere that when one of the five senses is blocked, the others become more sensitive.
“Should we undress each other first?”
“Haaah… yes…”
Her excited breath brushed my face, heightening the mood.
She was clearly looking forward to this unusual situation too.
Rustle-rustle-
The sound of clothes and our hands exploring each other’s bodies teased my ears.
I knew her usual white uniform well, but undressing her in darkness meant I could touch her even more.
“I think we’re both naked now.”
After a surprisingly long time spent undressing and touching each other, Karin’s breathing was heavier than before.
Her breath, filled with excitement and anticipation, sounded even more stimulating in the quiet darkness.
“How does it feel to be naked when you can’t see anything?”
I pulled her close, feeling her soft skin rub against me.
Her plump, marshmallow-like breasts.
I ran my hand over her alluring back and down to her firm butt.
“Ah… it feels strange. It’s a mix of chills and a sense of liberation…”
Her voice trembled with excitement at this unusual act.
Standing naked, bodies pressed together in the dark, both of us were feeling a strange, erotic thrill.
“Then, will you lead me to the bed?”
“Yes…”
Karin turned in the direction she thought the bed was.
Each slow step was accompanied by the sound of her breathing and our footsteps.
I followed, clinging to her as she walked.
“Haa… haa… ah…! That’s the wall…”
She reached out and touched the wall, then changed direction.
Ssshh-sshh-
All I could hear was our breathing, footsteps, and the sound of our skin rubbing together.
Desire surged.
Rather than just following her, I pressed my body against hers, savoring the soft, blissful sensation.
With every gentle touch, Karin’s breath grew sweeter.
Maybe our slow pace was because we were both enjoying the situation.
“Haa… haaah…♥”
Karin’s footsteps stopped.
She turned her head and spoke in a trembling voice.
“Haa… haa… it’s the bed…”
“Lie down first.”
When I let go, she slid onto the bed.
Once the rustling stopped, I fumbled my way onto the bed as well.
She was lying naked on the bed.
Just imagining it in the darkness made my cock hard and precum drip out.
The bed was small, so I quickly found her body.
My hand found her foot.
She must be lying face down.
Excitement and anticipation filled my chest.
My pounding heartbeat sounded especially loud.
From her foot to her leg, I traced the beautiful curve with my hand, learning her posture by touch.
“This is better than I expected.”
Her legs stretched toward the ceiling, her butt higher than the bed.
Karin was in a position that seemed to beg for it from behind.
“Haa… Master…♥”
Instinctively, my hand slid over her butt and down to her secret place.
Her lovely petals were soaked with arousal.
