Academy First-Year Era.
That was when Sky City was rife with turmoil from Dark Redemption’s rampant activity.
As a Savior alongside the other two, I had no time to rest, always rushing from one crisis to the next.
Yet at the same time, it was a period that held irreplaceable, precious memories for me.
“That’s…”
As usual, I was heading out after finishing volunteer work at the campus cathedral.
There, sitting curled up in front of the cathedral’s courtyard, was a familiar figure.
“Haruto-kun, is that you?”
As I approached carefully and called his name, he slowly turned his head, looking up at me with an awkward expression.
From behind his shoulders, a small stray kitten in his arms mewed softly.
“Hi, Hikari.”
“…That kitten?”
“I found it while passing by. It looks hurt.”
Just as he’d said, the kitten’s leg was twisted and bleeding.
Though it wasn’t even his pet, Haruto anxiously bit his lower lip as he gazed down at the kitten.
“Let’s take it inside first. There’s a first aid kit in the lounge we can at least patch it up a bit.”
I could have used holy power to heal it easily, but I couldn’t transform recklessly inside the academy.
“Really!? Thank you!”
Even now, I can picture how his face lit up with joy at the offer.
To be honest, it was just as well.
I’d always been curious why even the fiery Akane cared for him so much.
“Phew. That should do it.”
Once I’d disinfected the wound, set the splint, and bandaged it, the kitten’s face looked much more at ease.
Haruto, who'd been watching breathlessly the whole time, finally let out a sigh of relief.
“Thank you, Hikari. I’ll never forget your kindness.”
He grasped my hands with unguarded sincerity in his eyes.
Thank goodness the lounge was empty, or there might have been a misunderstanding.
But “kindness,” really? He was being so dramatic.
Embarrassed, I gently slipped my hands away and tried to sound casual.
“It was only first aid, so you should still take it to the hospital for a proper checkup later.”
“Yeah. I’ll handle that.”
He answered confidently, carefully cradling the now-sleeping kitten.
Honestly, he was so average in both looks and personality.
Was that the kind of pure-hearted person Akane was attracted to?
“Hikari, you’re really kind.”
I was putting away the first aid kit, lost in thought, when his words suddenly halted my train of thought.
“...Huh?”
My dumbfounded reaction made him awkwardly wave his hands.
“Ah, sorry. That was out of nowhere, wasn’t it? It’s just… before this, I always felt like you were hard to approach.”
My heart dropped with a thud at his words.
He’d seen me a few times in battle, lost in brutal delight as I dispatched monsters.
That sadism of mine was a shameful, hateful secret even to myself.
So for him to call me “kind” now how undeserved.
Forcing a self-deprecating smile, I shot back with a prickly remark.
“Did you look down on me? Seeing the same person who laughs like a madwoman in battle now acting all nice and sweet?”
I sighed inwardly at my unintended words this wasn’t what I meant to do.
But
“No, not at all.”
He shot back so firmly I had to look up.
“That’s part of you too, isn’t it? You become strong to protect those weaker than you. Being able to have both sides at once… I think that’s amazing.”
Ah.
In that moment, I realized:
Here was someone who could be kind to anyone.
Akane must have fallen for him because of that, too.
Maybe his words were just simple kindness and nothing more, but
It was the first time anyone had ever “accepted” my darkest side.
Just that alone filled me with a sense of salvation, and a warmth that started to overflow uncontrollably from inside.
“Haruto-kun.”
“Yeah?”
I stared at him for a moment, then spoke in a mock petulant voice.
“You’re kind of annoying.”
“Eh?! S-sorry! Did I say something wrong...?”
His confused reaction made me burst into laughter.
“…Pfft. I was only kidding.”
Helpless, but always altruistic.
So righteous it was almost reckless.
Now I understood, at least, why Akane liked him so much.
That moment of warmth was shattered by a sharp pain stabbing up from below.
“Ugh…! Ahh…!❤♡❤♡❤”
I twisted and groaned as soon as consciousness returned, after passing out from consecutive torture and forced climaxes.
‘A dream…’
If only that dream were reality, and this moment just a nightmare.
But nothing had changed from before I closed my eyes; my body was still strung up over the wooden horse in this horrific state.
My wrists and ankles were chained separately to the ceiling, and even the slightest movement sent hot ripples of pleasure through me, accompanied by the clattering of metal.
My last memory was of Kai no, Onyx mocking me as he left the torture chamber, after endless waves of ecstasy.
How much time had passed?
Where had Onyx and that executive gone?
What were Akane and Mizuki doing now?
Were they searching for me?
‘…No, I can’t think like this.’
I was sure the two of them were fighting desperately to save me. I had to hold on.
Though every moment in this place had been hellish, there was one small discovery I’d made:
The effect of the cursed rune Onyx carved on my lower belly before the torture began.
‘There’s no mistake… The more I climax, the more I start to crave that man.’
With every orgasm, my mind was forced full of his hateful face, voice, and touch.
And always at the end, a disgusting “desire” for him lingered like scum.
The more times it happened, the clearer and more persistent that longing became, corroding my mind.
Realizing this pattern explained all the unanswered questions.
Why did they subject me to so much sexual torture but never cross the final line?
The answer was simple:
They never intended to forcibly take my virginity.
They were gleefully waiting for me to beg for it myself, to desperately spread my legs and plead.
‘Damn it.’
To hold onto my sanity, I had to avoid climaxing at all costs.
But my body was already past the point where willpower alone could do anything.
I had to find a way out of this situation, no matter what.
That’s when
Creak
The heavy iron door of the chamber opened, and Thanatos entered.
Onyx was nowhere in sight.
Thanatos approached with that infuriating elegance as always, tilting his head as if appraising my state.
“Oh, you’re awake. Remarkably fast recovery. So, have you given any thought to becoming Onyx-nim’s property?”
“…Are you deaf? No matter how many times you ask, my answer won’t change.”
Despite my exhaustion, I shot him a sharp glare.
That just seemed to please him, and he smiled softly.
“Fufufu. Such spirit you really are our nemesis. I was worried you’d already broken; good to see I was wrong.”
He stooped to operate the console beside me.
That console
If I could somehow grab it, I might have a chance to free myself.
“Ah, by the way.”
His sudden comment made me tear my eyes away from the device.
“The milk we squeezed out of you last night the underlings really enjoyed it. Your ‘saint’s blessing’ is getting rave reviews.”
Trying not to shudder in disgust at this unwelcome news, I glanced unconsciously at the door. Thanatos didn’t miss it.
“Are you looking for Onyx? Sadly, he’s busy elsewhere for now. Today’s session is just you and me.”
Thank God.
If he were here, that cursed rune’s effects would corrode my sanity even faster.
But along with relief, some weird sense of disappointment was budding inside me.
I tried to ignore that loathsome feeling.
Thanatos must have noticed and kept up the psychological pressure.
“Wouldn’t it be easier to give up resisting and accept things? Your friends will never find this place you know that better than anyone.”
I didn’t answer. Now that I’d been captured, I had no idea where this place was.
But I had to trust my friends he was just trying to shake that trust. I couldn’t let myself fall for it.
“And you know? I think you’ll fit right in with us.”
“Nonsense…”
“No one else may realize it, but I’ve always been watching you. Your sadism how hard it must have been, suppressing it in front of others.”
“...”
“But here, it’s different. You can indulge all those filthy, ugly desires as much as you want.”
Haruto’s warm acceptance the complete opposite of this cold, twisted affirmation.
I couldn’t let filthy words like that taint my most precious memory.
“Shut up. Scum like you have no right to talk about that.”
Thanatos smiled, excitement and admiration mixing on his face.
“Kukuk... You really are splendid material. I look forward to seeing how much you’ll crumble today.”
He reached for the console again, commencing the next stage of “tuning”
Just then.
–WARNING! WARNING!
[Intruder detected in Sector 2.]
[Intruder identity confirmed: ‘Saviors.’ Repeat, ‘Saviors’ have infiltrated Sector 2.]
A blaring emergency siren and flashing red lights rocked the entire chamber.
“Saviors.”
The word cut through the haze of my pleasure-drowned mind.
Akane, Mizuki.
They’d come for me.
“…To think even this location would be compromised.”
For once, Thanatos looked genuinely irritated at the unexpected situation, frowning.
He gave me a look like a gourmet whose banquet had just been spoiled.
“It appears your precious friends have barged in. How truly rude.”
As he hurried to leave, he packed some tools off a shelf.
In his haste, the console on the table slid just a little closer to me.
“We’ll have to deal with those pesky flies before starting. Please be patient until I return.”
With a clang, the heavy door closed and I was left alone in the noisy, siren-blaring room.
In the depths of despair light shone in.
Panting for breath, I stared at the console now almost within reach.
Maybe it was a trap, but above all else, the knowledge that my friends had come made my dying spirit race again with hope.
I couldn’t let this chance slip by.
By sheer luck, the slab was still in the wooden horse configuration.
Because of that, the restraints glued to my limbs were attached by chains, giving me just a bit of slack.
If it had been in the flat table shape, the cuffs would have held me utterly immobile the console would have been forever out of reach.
If I dragged myself forward…
“Hu… Huu…”
Easier said than done.
Just imagining it sent a shiver of dread through my abdomen.
But there was no choice.
“I mustn’t… I absolutely mustn’t climax...!”
Gritting my teeth, I strained my arms and thighs, pushing my body forward.
“Hngh...!”
I’d moved maybe a centimeter, and already the sharp edge of the horse was grinding my swollen sex and clouding my mind.
“No, no…!♥ Haaah…!”
Desperately twisting to avoid the stimulation only made the chains clink and tighten, and my over-sensitive clit was ground deeper into the peak of the wooden horse.
Psssh-!
“Nguoooo...!♥ Onyx, please...!”
My first attempt ended with an all too quick climax, leaving only loathsome desire for that man and self-loathing in its wake.
“Hah… haa… Not yet…”
Swallowing rising tears, I pushed forward again.
A second, a third time. Each movement sent me over the edge
Even as I suffered visions of Onyx with each orgasm, I refused to give up.
When my fingers finally brushed the console, my whole body was so awash in pleasure that thought was almost impossible.
Only by instinct, I pressed the release button for my restraints.
Hiss
With a sound, the chains holding my limbs released, and my body collapsed off the wooden horse and onto the floor.
“Haa… haah...”
Even breathing was difficult, but there was no time to hesitate.
Thanatos could return at any second.
If I got caught trying to escape, it would be over.
“Haa, haa...”
I forced my limp body up and staggered to the door and out.
I had no time to wonder why the lock was so simple.
Leaning against the maze-like corridor wall, I forced myself to keep moving.
The shackles were gone, but my holy power was still depleted.
My over-sensitized body oozed between my legs with every step, and no matter what I did, that unwanted man’s face filled my head.
‘Haruto… Haruto.’
His warm smile and kind voice were the only thread that kept me going in this hell.
Reaching the elevator at the far end of the long corridor, the PA blared once more.
[Update: Intruders advancing toward Sector 4, lower levels. Seal all inner defenses immediately. Do not allow them near the Goddess!]
‘The Goddess… Lady Lumina!’
At the word, I froze.
The others were in Sector 2.
Lady Lumina was in Sector 4, the deep core.
Should I wait for my friends, or risk everything to reach the goddess myself?
There wasn’t much time to decide.
‘This might be my last chance.’
If I waited too long, who knew what horrors they’d inflict on her?
Resolved, I threw myself into the elevator with the last of my energy.
With a rumble, the elevator ground to a halt and the heavy doors slid open.
With faltering steps, I entered the darkness and found myself somewhere that could never be mistaken for a jail.
The walls were lined with a membrane like the insides of a vast living organism,
and in the center, a nest-like resting area was set up, almost cozy.
That tranquility only made the place seem even more wrong.
Then, from the darkness, I heard a familiar voice.
“Nnh…♥ Not there, don’t…♥ Noo, more…!”
Half-defiant, half-pleading, it sounded desperate and needy.
I instinctively knew it could only be the person I’d searched so long for.
“Lady Lumina !”
Hope rising in my chest, I rushed to the nest’s center then froze in disbelief.
What I found there was not a goddess in agony.
“Aaah♥ I love dick♥ More, more...”
I thought I was hearing things. But what I saw was all too real.
In the glaringly peaceful center of that space,
Lumina, the holy goddess who had granted me her power, was moaning in ecstasy
in Onyx’s arms, moving her hips to his powerful thrusts.
The sacred goddess I revered clung lewdly to my mortal enemy, rocking her hips in sexual bliss.
“Haaah♥ Mm♥ Uhh... Hi, Hikari?”
The moment our eyes met mine freezing in shock, hers glazed with rapture
Clang !
Behind me, the elevator doors I’d ridden shut tight.
Then all through the complex, Thanatos’s oily voice drifted from the intercom.
[Welcome, Saint. Did you enjoy the play I prepared for you?]
Everything had been a trap.
I had walked of my own will into the depths of despair.
And as I realized it,
the moment was already too late tentacles, having found their prey, dove screaming toward me.
