“P-please calm down! …Here, wipe your tears…”
Flustered, Cheon Juhee handed Park Sora a tissue. Park Sora slowly wiped away her tears, which were devoid of real emotion.
She didn’t even wipe them properly, so her eye makeup smudged, which only made her look more pitiful and drew more sympathy.
“……”
Seeing this, Cheon Juhee unconsciously shook her leg. Realizing it, she pressed her leg down with her hand. That’s when Park Sora began her story.
“Actually, I have a close younger friend… She recently went through something terrible.”
Juhee tilted her head slightly, trying not to show it.
‘What? I thought she was crying because of Jihan…’
She’d assumed that was the reason for the sudden tears.
‘But… she wouldn’t show that in front of me. She doesn’t know about me and Jihan, after all.’
Thinking that, Juhee felt even sorrier for Park Sora.
To have no one to pour out your sorrow to how pitiful.
“A terrible thing?”
Juhee snapped out of her thoughts and asked.
“Well… she was almost assaulted by some bad men.”
“…Assaulted…?”
“You know…”
“…Ah…”
Park Sora clearly meant rape.
And not by a handsome, well-endowed man like Jihan, but by ugly, small-dicked, dirty-smelling men.
Just imagining it made Juhee feel sick.
“Luckily, someone passing by helped her, so she was okay… but the trauma seems deep.”
“......”
Juhee wasn’t a hard-hearted person. So she felt genuinely sorry for this unknown victim.
Should she say, ‘At least she was saved before being raped’?
But the trauma must be terrible, so maybe it’s not something to be relieved about.
With all these thoughts, Juhee decided to stay quiet.
“She used to run a hot spring, so she was used to dealing with creeps… but now she jumps at the sight of any man.”
“You must be really worried.”
“Yes… She used to dream of meeting a good man, having kids, and living well… but because of those bastards…”
Juhee listened, then cautiously asked,
“I’m sorry, but… why are you telling me this?”
At that, Park Sora’s expression turned bitter, as if she’d downed a bottle of soju.
“Actually… before Jihan left, he mentioned something. He said the director’s family is very closed-off, and it’s a female-only clan…”
“So… are you asking if our family could employ that woman?”
“Shameless as it is… yes. She has panic attacks around men, but there are only women there… so I wanted to ask for your help.”
Bringing an outsider into Munyeosan… it’s not impossible.
Most chores are handled by branch family members, but for specialized tasks, they sometimes hire outsiders.
But bringing an outsider into the sacred stud barn…
‘And I’d probably need to do a background check, too.’
Juhee didn’t suspect Park Sora was lying, but as a Cheon family member, she had to be thorough.
“Do you have a photo?”
“…Yes!”
Park Sora looked relieved and showed a photo. The woman in the picture, likely taken before the incident, was smiling brightly.
“…She’s beautiful.”
Juhee said it quietly, but she was quite surprised. The woman was as attractive as any Cheon family woman, maybe even as beautiful as Park Sora, who had become even prettier lately.
“Her name is Ju Seoyeon.”
“Hmm… Ju Seoyeon.”
Looking at the photo, Juhee felt even more drawn in.
Rather than pity for what almost happened to such a pretty woman, she thought:
‘I’ll bring her to my side. Then the two of us can go after Jihan together… and we’ll be ahead of the other women…’
She’d do Ju Seoyeon a favor, erase her trauma, and then the two of them would go after Jihan. Even if his body was public property, his heart could be won.
That way, they could protect Jihan from the Cheon women, who were so beautiful even other women were captivated.
She spun her happy fantasy.
‘Ah… with the investigation and approval, it’ll take at least three more days.’
Juhee resolved to work late into the night to speed up her return.
She never imagined that Park Sora and Ju Seoyeon were actually succubi more precisely, Jihan’s women and slaves.
**
Late at night in the mansion’s living room, little Hanna was already asleep.
The other succubi were discussing their meticulous plan.
“Sora? Good work.”
“It was nothing, Your Majesty.”
“Francesca, are you ready?”
“Yes, I hypnotized the men with sex crime records and staged the scene.”
“Then all we need is for that woman to contact us… And we have a backup plan, right?”
Baek Mari, now queen in place of Baek Sera, led the meeting with regal charisma.
“Yes, I’ve secured the list of water and gas workers who visit quarterly.”
Clap clap clap
“Excellent. As expected of Francesca. A hundred times better than those who just stay home and masturbate.”
“…Bitch.”
“I did the hypnosis, though…”
Baek Mina and Baek Yuna grumbled, but it was just grumbling. The queen’s authority was absolute.
Even former queen Baek Sera was lounging on the sofa, rubbing her pregnant belly and watching the meeting.
Anyone who rebelled would meet a terrible fate.
“Now… Seoyeon?”
“Yes, Your Majesty.”
Mari called her comfortably, as Seoyeon was now family.
“You know what to do when you get into Munyeosan, right?”
“Yes. I’ll learn everything I can about the internal structure, organization, security, and the level of martial artists and shamans.”
“Good. But don’t push yourself too hard at first. I heard you’re the first woman my brother took in? Once this is over… you’ll truly be part of our family, and we’ll be happy together forever.”
Just imagining that made Seoyeon’s resolve stronger.
“Yes. Understood!”
Bzzz
At that moment, Park Sora’s phone vibrated.
She picked it up and showed the name on the screen:
<Director>
“…Put it on speaker.”
Nod!
Everyone fell silent, and Park Sora carefully answered the call.
**
“Hm… so it wasn’t a lie.”
Cheon Juhee was investigating the incident with branch family members dispatched from Munyeosan.
Working with a law firm, she quickly got to the truth.
“One week ago, 1 a.m., the victim was walking down a dark alley. Two criminals, who had cut off their electronic anklets, attacked. But fortunately, several women passing by saw it. The victim was rescued, and the attempted rapists were caught while fleeing…”
She also ran a background check.
“Name: Ju Seoyeon, age 30. Almost suffered hardship under a debt-ridden father… but was saved by a benefactor and hired as a hot spring manager. The hot spring catered to wealthy clients… business was good, but the benefactor’s whim led to its closure. Afterward, she had an accident and is undergoing psychiatric treatment…”
What a pitiful woman.
It was as if someone had gone out of their way to make her life miserable.
But Juhee felt more sympathy than suspicion.
And as such a pitiful woman, she probably wouldn’t betray a favor.
“…Of course, she might end up liking Jihan more than me. But eventually, Jihan will like me more.”
She told her staff,
“That’s enough for the investigation. Go report. How long for approval?”
“After the administrative director’s approval, we need the shaman’s final sign-off.”
“…Will it take long?”
“Normally, yes, but anything related to top-tier stud Baek Jihan is prioritized. So… probably by midnight tonight.”
“Excellent.”
Juhee nodded in satisfaction and waved them off.
Branch staff, whose job was to move between inside and outside, bowed politely and drove away.
“What’s so great about being stuck in there…”
Of course, they were polite because of hierarchy, hoping to curry favor.
To Cheon women, working in and out of Munyeosan was seen as menial, and those staff wanted to get close to a direct line like her so they could spend their lives inside Munyeosan.
Juhee couldn’t understand that mindset.
“If it weren’t for Jihan, I’d never want to be stuck there again.”
Sigh
She let out a long sigh and closed her eyes for a nap.
When her alarm woke her, she awoke with a big, happy smile.
As of 00:00 today, two staff will be assigned to the stud barn, an important protected facility and home of top-tier stud Baek Jihan. The assigned staff are direct line Cheon Juhee and outsider Ju Seoyeon. Their duties are to manage and assist the stud and prevent anything that may hinder successful mating and pregnancy. Other details are at the manager’s discretion.
“Haha! Jihan, finally…!”
Juhee hurried to make a call. It was late, but this wasn’t something to explain by text.
Still, knowing it was rude, she called Park Sora instead of the unfamiliar Ju Seoyeon.
“Is Ju Seoyeon there… Ah, yes. Please put her on. Hello, this is Cheon Juhee. Yes. Please come to the address I texted you by 6 a.m. tomorrow. We can talk details then, if that’s okay?”
“Ah, yes. You’ll probably be able to go out once a month. We’ll discuss pay and other matters tomorrow. Yes, good night.”
Juhee hung up and looked at her phone.
“Why did she put it on speaker?”
Maybe Park Sora wanted them both to hear? Maybe she was worried about her friend.
Juhee didn’t care, put on a face mask, and went to sleep. She felt like she’d have a good dream.
