"Come over here."
"Yes..."
Jun-ha, sitting on the sofa, patted the seat next to him.
Heo Seong-ah hesitantly sat beside him, biting her lip as she felt the pain from her genital piercing pressing into the seat.
"Relax. This is our home now, right?"
"Yes, Master..."
"Tsk, drop the honorifics. And call me Jun-ha."
"But..."
"Seong-ah, I’ve told you twice. You know what happens if I have to say it three times?"
"Hhic..!"
Just because she’d gone from female livestock to girlfriend didn’t mean Jun-ha’s personality had changed.
He still lived by the rule of only tolerating things three times, and threatened her gently with his soft voice.
"J-Jun-ha..."
"Good."
That cautious word moved Jun-ha’s heart.
He felt a flutter in his chest and pulled Heo Seong-ah close by the shoulder.
"See, you can say it well~ I love you, Seong-ah~"
"I-I love you too, Jun-ha."
"Yeah~"
Jun-ha grinned like he owned the world, hugging her tightly and rubbing his face against hers.
He kept whispering his love, expressing his feelings so much it was almost overwhelming.
"I love you, Seong-ah~"
"Me too... hehe..."
Her cheek pressed in, Heo Seong-ah forced her lips into a smile.
She clung to her master, responding like a fool.
"Great! Then shall we pick another one?"
"Hhic..!"
Jun-ha reached for the glass jar on the living room table.
While he smiled brightly, Heo Seong-ah stiffened in fear.
She was sure she’d be put through more torture in the name of love.
"Why are you so startled? Don’t worry. I did what I wanted this morning, so let’s do what you want this afternoon~"
"R-really..?"
"Yeah~"
He meant he’d pick one of the notes Heo Seong-ah had written.
Jun-ha made a show of plunging his arm into the jar full of notes.
He swirled his wrist clockwise, grabbed a paper he liked, and, humming, opened it with a wide smile.
"What’s this, Seong-ah~? You didn’t even need to write this, I’d do it anytime."
"I-I just... You said to write things I wanted to do together..."
"Yeah~ I like it."
The note read: "Watch a romantic movie together."
It was one of the things she’d filled in without much thought, just to complete the list.
"Well... we can’t go to the theater, so should we watch at home?"
"Yeah... okay."
Since she was still officially female livestock, she couldn’t enter a movie theater with him.
Unless she filed paperwork at the communal property office to restore her status, Heo Seong-ah would remain without human rights.
Even if Jun-ha filed the paperwork, national law prohibited status restoration for two years after her conviction.
So, this was just a role-play at best.
An equal relationship as lovers?
A passing dog would laugh at that.
All Jun-ha was really doing was tormenting a livestock who could never be human, but of course Heo Seong-ah was completely unaware.
"What should we watch? How about an adult romance?"
"Yeah..."
Reclining on the sofa, Jun-ha used the TV remote to access a movie platform.
He browsed the latest films, found an adult romance he liked, and clicked purchase.
"This looks fun, right?"
"Yeah... s-seems fun."
Still not used to informal speech, Heo Seong-ah replied awkwardly with a smile.
"This kind of feels like our story."
The movie was titled "The Disgusting Life of a Female Livestock."
The female protagonist, born human and living a happy life, is falsely accused and becomes female livestock, subjected to training.
She becomes an obedient livestock, is used as a public toilet, gets pregnant and gives birth before age 30, and is sold to a rich man as his exclusive property.
Resenting her tragic life, the protagonist plots to kill her master and escape, but fails.
As punishment, she is turned into a limbless onahole, losing all physical freedom.
She is used by countless men, repeatedly impregnated and giving birth, until her body and mind are completely destroyed.
Once she’s no longer useful as an onahole, her brain is removed and she lives forever as an experimental subject in the communal facility’s underground lab.
A story with no hope or dreams.
"They say it’s based on a true story... How did this get approved?"
"Yeah..."
The distributors, investors, and director were all big names in the anti-communal property protest movement.
If the communal facility had tried to block the film, it would have only confirmed such things happened.
With the government stuck, there was nothing they could do.
"Looks interesting. Let’s watch."
"Yeah..."
Seeing the protagonist, Heo Seong-ah furrowed her brow, imagining her own bleak future.
Still, she thought her life-becoming exclusive livestock and being loved by her master-was better than the protagonist’s, ruined by repeated pregnancies as a public toilet.
Of course, both were terrible, so she couldn’t really smile about it.
Jun-ha brought snacks and drinks to the living room table for the movie.
He drew the blackout curtains and turned off all the lights, making it as dark and quiet as a real theater.
"You wanted to see this, so watch properly, okay?"
"Yeah..."
The Disgusting Life of a Female Livestock.
How did a documentary like this become a romance movie?
From the start, it showed women being brutally tortured.
Women falsely accused and dragged away, with no chance to protest, becoming livestock.
"Well made, huh?"
"Yeah..."
Every scene of livestock being trained and turned into public toilets was based on real events.
They said real-time livestock footage helped with the film’s production.
They mixed in some exaggeration and forced plot twists, emphasizing the "falsely accused heroine" angle over and over.
"Hmm... No wonder the ratings are so low."
The film’s rating was 1.4 out of 5.
Critics gave it a 4.8, but actual viewers were sharply divided.
The debate over the communal facility’s existence was reflected in the film’s ratings.
As a social issue, this was only natural.
"Hmm..."
He knew there were many officials abusing the communal property system, but never expected such a direct attack.
After about 10 minutes, Jun-ha felt like the film was targeting him and lost interest.
"This is boring, right?"
"Yeah..."
Heo Seong-ah also felt depressed, as if watching her own story.
Deciding it wasn’t worth finishing, Jun-ha stopped the movie and switched channels.
He tried to lighten the mood with a public TV variety show, but unfortunately, a debate on anti-communal property protests was airing.
The leader of the protest group, Kim Min-jung,
a young woman with strong convictions, bravely stood in front of others despite being a target for abuse.
She deserved everyone’s praise, but her misguided beliefs meant she was always in danger.
Think about it another way.
Kim Min-jung was on public TV, praising Hitler and the superiority of Nazi ideology.
Rising up against the communal property system for low birth rates was tantamount to treason.
"That bitch..."
Jun-ha, remembering a friend stabbed in the street, felt a surge of anger.
He blamed women brainwashed by people like her.
He calmed himself and hugged Heo Seong-ah.
Abolish the communal property system?
Recover women’s rights?
Ban female livestock?
Let them say what they want.
Jun-ha didn’t care what those women planned.
Heo Seong-ah was already his obedient livestock.
"I love you, Seong-ah."
"I love you too, Jun-ha..."
"Sorry you didn’t get to watch the movie you wanted. There’s nothing I really want to see."
"It’s okay..."
Jun-ha browsed the romance movie list but found nothing he liked.
He never liked that genre anyway, preferring action movies with fighting.
He’d said he’d let Heo Seong-ah do what she wanted,
but in the end, he turned off the TV just because there wasn’t a movie he liked.
"Uh, J-Jun-ha."
"What?"
"Can I go to the bathroom for a moment?"
"Huh? Sure, go ahead. Why are you asking?"
He’d wondered why she seemed hesitant-turns out she just needed to pee.
Still unable to shake her livestock habits, she watched for Jun-ha’s reaction before going to the bathroom.
