Kisaragi Fumika is a sub-heroine in AneNatsu.
She is the shrine maiden who single-handedly maintains the crumbling Natsuki Shrine.
And at the age of thirty-three, she is also a widow who lost her husband.
In the game, she’s expressed in just a few lines of text and CGs, but
facing her in person, she felt far more-how should I put it-
she radiated an atmosphere as if she carried deep stories within her.
A maturity forged by suppressed sorrow and the passage of time coexisted in her, making her all the more precarious and captivating.
“It reminds me of the old days. You and your brother used to run around the shrine yard like little sparrows. It feels like just yesterday... and now you’ve grown so much.”
With a gentle smile, Fumika led us into her living quarters.
As expected, it was simple but neatly kept.
Beyond the sliding door, worn down by years, was a small living room the size of six tatami mats.
“Ah, yes, we did. Haha.”
Akari’s laugh echoed awkwardly through the house.
“Fumika-san, it must have been hard running the shrine alone all this time. Back then... your husband was still here.”
“Yes. Sometimes it’s a bit much on my own, but I’ve gotten used to it. It’s the place he left behind. Many things have changed, but there are things that must be protected.”
Though she spoke calmly, a trace of loneliness lingered at the end of her words.
“Please, have a seat. I’ll bring some tea.”
Fumika offered us cushions and headed to the small kitchen.
After a short wait, she returned with steaming teacups and set them before us.
As she bent over, the white nape of her neck peeked out from her shrine maiden robe, and the old wedding ring around her neck caught my eye.
“I didn’t expect visitors, so this is all I have to offer. I hope it’s okay?”
Looking at the cups, I saw two had green tea and one had orange juice.
“Yes! Thank you.”
At my simple reply, Fumika smiled gently and sat down demurely.
“So, Miyano-san. Before we get to the main topic, I want to confirm-did I hear correctly earlier? Your brother has become younger...?”
For someone hearing such an unbelievable story, her tone was surprisingly calm.
Her neatly tied hair, with a few strands falling to the side, gave her static beauty a subtle sensuality.
“Yes. I still can’t believe it myself, but it really seems that way. Not only does he look like he used to, but he remembers everything from when he was little...”
As Akari spoke, she kept glancing at me.
Her eyes were full of worry and confusion.
“Hmmm.”
Fumika also looked closely at my face, her deep black eyes persistent as if trying to see through me.
Meanwhile, my gaze was fixed elsewhere-her overwhelming chest.
Even through the shrine maiden robe, her volume was impossible to hide.
It might even surpass Elena’s.
I felt a strong urge to bury my face in her ample bosom right then and there.
“……”
At that moment, Fumika’s eyes flashed sharply and met mine, as if she’d read my lewd thoughts.
Startled, I flinched, but she soon turned back to Akari as if nothing had happened.
‘What was that? Just my imagination…?’
While I was thinking that, Fumika spoke up.
“You said Yuu-kun went to the shrine last night-is that certain?”
“I’m not completely sure, but that’s what Yuu remembers. I also saw him leave the house last night.”
Saying this, Akari looked to me for confirmation.
I just hunched my shoulders and nodded slightly.
Now was the time to keep my words to a minimum and focus on acting.
“I think I heard some noise outside while I was sleeping last night.”
“Was that Yuu?”
“I was deeply asleep at the time, so I couldn’t check, but most likely it was Yuu-kun.”
Fumika turned to look out the window, as if thinking, then stood and approached me.
Up close, I could faintly smell sandalwood and a subtle, intimate scent from her body.
“Yuu-kun... is that the right way to call you? Do you know who I am?”
“...Yeah. Fumika-neesan, right? You’ve gotten so much bigger, but I’m sure.”
Acting like a child is one thing, but talking about things I never actually experienced as if I had is harder than it sounds.
But I couldn’t afford to act awkward here.
“That’s right. I’ve grown up so much, but you’ve... really become so small.”
Her black eyes staring right at me were almost oppressive.
I couldn’t tell at all what she was thinking.
“Do you remember what you did at the shrine last night?”
Her voice was low and gentle, but carried a certain sharpness.
“I think I made a wish. But I don’t really remember what it was. I just remember feeling really sad.”
I shook my head and answered weakly. Fumika didn’t press further and closed her eyes.
Her long lashes cast shadows on her pale cheeks.
She looked both sad and mysterious.
After a moment, Fumika slowly opened her eyes and spoke softly.
“I understand. I think I can at least try to find out the cause. Yuu-kun, could you come here for a moment?”
She turned and headed toward a small sliding door inside the living room.
Akari and I followed her.
When the door opened, a solemn, slightly chilly air swept over us, different from the rest of the house.
In the center of the room was a small wooden altar, and the walls were covered with old talismans inscribed with mysterious red characters.
The room was filled with a heavy, deep scent, making even me-who already knew about this place-hold my breath.
“Miyano-san, could you wait outside for a moment?”
As Akari tried to follow us in, Fumika gently but firmly stopped her.
“Huh? But...”
“I need to concentrate fully for this. Nothing will harm the child, so please don’t worry and wait just a little. Please.”
“Not that I’m worried about Yuu or anything... Ah, okay. If you say so, Fumika-san.”
With Fumika’s calm yet coaxing tone, Akari couldn’t insist and reluctantly nodded.
Her worried gaze disappeared behind the closing door.
Creeeak-slam.
Once the door was shut, a heavy silence settled in the room.
Fumika gestured for me to sit comfortably on a cushion in front of the altar, then knelt across from me.
With her knees together and back straight, she looked every bit the shrine maiden preparing for a sacred ritual.
“Yuu-kun, this is your first time in this room, right?”
“Yeah. It feels like a secret room from TV.”
Fumika smiled silently at my answer and lit a thin incense stick on the altar.
Blue smoke soon softly filled the room.
“I’m going to examine your body a little now, but it won’t hurt or be scary, so don’t worry.”
After saying that, Fumika closed her eyes and began chanting something in a low, incomprehensible melody.
Her voice, deeper than what I’d heard in the living room, made the small space feel like it was being drawn into another dimension.
Of course, this whole process was just like in the original game.
In a way, along with the regression to youth, this is the most fantastical element in the game.
Through this ritual, the game’s purpose is set and the main story begins.
Since I already knew all this, I just took the opportunity to appreciate Fumika’s figure as she created a solemn atmosphere.
Her voluptuous chest and slender waist beneath the neat lines of her shrine maiden robe,
and... just imagining the skin hidden beneath that robe made my boredom vanish.
As my lecherous gaze wandered over her body, Fumika suddenly opened her eyes and gently took both my hands.
Her hands were warm and smooth, like well-cared-for silk.
But as soon as she touched me, I felt a faint tingle, as if some unknown energy was flowing up my wrists.
“Ugh...”
Then, as she held my hands and closed her eyes to focus again, a faint moan escaped Fumika’s lips.
Her brow furrowed slightly, and her previously calm breathing became a little uneven.
A delicate blush spread across her once-pale cheeks.
‘What’s going on? Did something go wrong?’
This didn’t happen in the original.
She simply finished the ritual and calmly explained the results.
After a while, Fumika slowly opened her eyes, her gaze now clearly different.
Her black eyes trembled with surprise and disbelief.
“Fumika-neesan...?”
Unable to bear the silence, I spoke first, and Fumika flinched and looked at me.
Her expression was so shaken that her emotions were obvious at a glance.
“...Ah. Sorry, Yuu-kun. The ritual... is over. Let’s talk about the rest in the living room.”
She hurriedly tidied up, far less composed than usual, and left the room.
Definitely strange.
In the original, she would have called Akari in and explained what she’d found.
“It seems Yuu-kun’s body changed because of a very strong and pure wish. I think it’s related to some powerful desire.”
When I finally left the room, Fumika was already explaining something to Akari in the living room.
Her face had regained its usual calm, with no trace of the earlier confusion.
“So what should we do... how can Yuu return to normal?”
At Akari’s desperate question, Fumika looked down, hesitating.
When she spoke again, her eyes briefly met mine.
There was still a hint of the complicated emotions she’d shown during the ritual.
“A wish is ultimately tied to the deepest desires of the heart. If that desire is fulfilled in some way, perhaps... you might be able to return to your original form.”
Fumika herself didn’t seem sure; her voice lacked confidence at the end.
“Desire... what exactly do you mean? What should we do...?”
“I can’t say for certain yet. We don’t know the true nature of the wish. For now... I think the best thing is to fulfill what Yuu-kun wants most.”
That was the end of Fumika’s explanation.
Her last words seemed to leave Akari with even more questions, but it wasn’t the right time to press further.
Akari nodded faintly, as if she had no choice.
“Yes... for now, I understand.”
“I’ll do some more research. If I make any progress, I’ll contact you at home, so please come back to the shrine then.”
“Yes, I will. I can’t leave him like this forever.”
With that, Akari and I got up and prepared to leave the living quarters.
For now, there was nothing more to do here.
Fumika’s reaction during the ritual bothered me, but
there wasn’t anything else to worry about for now.
I’d have to come back to the shrine anyway, so I’d watch more closely next time.
“By the way, Miyano-san.”
As we headed for the entrance, Fumika’s gentle voice stopped us.
“How long will you be staying this time?”
Akari paused and looked back.
“Ah... I think we’ll stay until the summer festival. My parents should be back around then too.”
“Until the festival... I see.”
A faint smile appeared on Fumika’s lips, but behind it was a trace of loneliness.
“When you and Yuu-kun were little, you always came to the shrine for the events. I can still picture you laughing as if you had the whole world just for a candy apple.”
Akari smiled faintly and nodded.
“Yes, that’s right. The takoyaki and goldfish scooping at the shrine were so much fun... Do you still do anything at the shrine these days?”
“In the past... our shrine used to be bustling with preparations, but now that I’m alone, I can’t hold big events like before.”
Fumika looked out at the quiet shrine yard and spoke softly.
“Still, the villagers seem to look forward to even a small light on summer nights.”
She turned back to us and added,
“There’s still plenty of time, but if you’re free during the festival, please stop by the shrine. It won’t be anything grand, but I’d love to at least treat you to a meal.”
“Yes, we’ll definitely come.”
Akari nodded, looking more at ease than before.
“Then, take care on your way down.”
Fumika saw us off to the door.
Her graceful figure and the old shrine behind her blended together in a way that was both precarious and beautiful.
After saying goodbye and leaving the shrine, Akari and I started back down the path we’d come up.
The mountain breeze occasionally tossed her brown hair.
As we left the shrine and walked down the mountain path, Akari kept her lips tightly shut, deep in thought.
Fumika’s cryptic words must have been swirling in her mind.
At least it gave me the chance to check my status window without interruption.
I hadn’t had a chance to look at it properly after the possession.

Exactly the trait I wanted.
With this, even without the Hypnosis App, seduction will be a breeze.
Akari, Fumika.
Just thinking about how many hot memories I’ll make this summer made me feel heavy below the belt.
“Ugh!?”
Lost in lewd thoughts, I tripped over a stone I hadn’t seen and nearly fell forward.
Oops.
Balancing with this small body was harder than I thought.
Just before my face hit the cold, hard ground, someone quickly grabbed my arm.
Akari’s shadow loomed over me as my body stopped midair.
“Watch where you’re going.”
Her voice was curt, but she didn’t let go of my arm right away.
Seeing her somewhat irritated expression, I thought of something Yuu might say in this state.
“...Sis, are you mad?”
“I’m not mad. My head’s just a bit messy.”
“Sorry. Because of me...”
“Why are you apologizing?”
Akari sighed and let go of my arm.
“Sigh. Let’s just go home. Should we get something on the way... Is there anything you want to eat?”
“Umm. Ice cream?”
At my answer, Akari let out a short laugh.
For a moment, her smile was as dazzling as the midsummer sun.
“You really never change. Even back then... Oh, right, you really are a kid now.”
She muttered to herself, then started walking ahead.
“Let’s go. There’s a snack shop nearby, so let’s stop there.”
“Okay.”
If we go to the snack shop, I’ll get to meet that person too.
And so, we walked in silence along the sunlit country road.
The summer heat shimmered above the asphalt like a mirage.
