MTIO Archive: Operation Silent Storm (Comic Page Tests)
🕑 Added 2024-11-10 14:14:42 +0000 UTCThis was my first attempt at a Halo fan comic circa 2018. This project was where I originally envisioned the expanded aesthetic that evolved into the 88th and B111. 'Proto-MTIO' I suppose, there's even an early version of Krease in these works.
The events of Operation Silent Storm will reappear in Full Metal Brat: the tragedy of the Black Daggers is a defining piece of history for several characters... (Nudge nudge, wink, wink)
It's been a blast to revisit this initial attempt and make use of its progress. (Thumbnail with for a upcoming action sequence)

Not always crazy about Denning’s books (lots of walking around in corridors) but if you’ve made art of it it must be pretty good 👀👀👀

Yeah I liked the book so much I wanted to adapt it, but thought against it due to the notice I'd be retreading a story that was already done.
