“Come on, Ellie, it was just a joke.”
She glared at him, cheeks flushed with humiliation. “You better not have sent that to Hemi.”
Daniel’s smile faltered for a moment, but then he shook his head. “No, I wouldn’t do that to you. As much as I’d like to.”
Elena narrowed her eyes, still not entirely convinced. “Are you sure?”
Danny nodded, holding up his hands in a placating gesture. “I swear, Ellie. I was just messing around.”
“You better not have, Danny. I’m serious.” She crossed her arms over her chest, still feeling a little self-conscious in the bikini. Then: “What do I look like in it?”
He grinned, his eyes roaming over her body. “So hot I can barely stand it. It’s hard being locked in this little space without ravaging you.”
She rolled her eyes, but couldn’t help the smile that spread across her face. “You’re such a dork.”
He stepped closer to her, wrapping his arms around her waist. “But you love me, anyway.”
She leaned into him, resting her head on his chest. “Yeah, I do.” She said, “Would you ravage me if there weren’t so many people outside the door?”
“I might do it, even with them listening. Just give me a signal.”
She chuckled, then shuddered at the thought of being caught in such a compromising position.
Danny said, “Do you want to see the picture?”
She feigned indifference, then agreed as if she was doing Danny the favor, but the whole while she did indeed want to take a look at the photo. She got closer to him, side by side, wary he would grab her or find some other way to embarrass her, like pinch a butt cheek and make her yelp loud enough for the outside crowd to hear and suspect what they were getting up to behind the closed door. But Danny just aimed the phone her way so she could see. And, yeah, the photo confirmed what she’d seen in the reflection. A girl who did not look like Elena Torres; the girl in the photo was all tanned skin and butt cheeks and bouncy hair. She could pass for one of those girls you’d see on social media, luring men to their private account for some racier pics.
“I can’t believe I look like that,” she muttered,
Danny grinned, leaning against the opposite wall and regarding her through sleepy eyes, putting her picture to his chest. “Yeah, all you have to do is put a little string up your tush and look how good you look.”
She laughed, a little self-conscious but also flattered. The way she looked in the photo had lightened her spirit. She asked him again what he thought, needing to hear the words from his lips.
He looked at her for a long moment, gaze intense and full of desire. “You look amazing, Ellie. I can’t wait to see you in that bikini on the beach. Hemi’s going to love it. You’re going to make him mental.”
She rolled her eyes and groaned. “I don’t care what Hemi thinks,” she said, lying, but what the heck? “I only want to know what you think.”
Danny grunted and said, “You want to know what I think?” Instead of continuing, he brushed open one side of his light rain jacket like a gunfighter. There in the front fly of his khaki pants, a long, bowed bulge extending up and to his right hip. Danny was hard as a rock.
She laughed and covered a hand over her mouth. “Danny,” she said, “what are you doing?”
Danny eyed her and moved his hand up and down his hard length, saying, “You turn me on so much.”
“Well, that’s all well and good, and I’m happy, but we’re in public.”
Danny looked to the door. “Yeah, but the door’s closed.”
She crossed to the other side of the fitting room and said, “You need to get out of here right now. We’re going to get arrested. We’ll have to call our parents from the embassy.”
Danny stalked toward her, eyes all sultry, and she practically swooned. Their whole sex life had changed like crazy in the past few days. While it was surprising, it was also welcome. Something she should embrace, even when her brain screamed at her to hustle Danny out of here before he took it too far and they got in trouble.
She backed up until her bare butt touched the cold mirror. Her arms went to goose flesh.
Danny got real close to her, looking down into her eyes. “Turn around and let me see that back side again.”
She stifled a small giggle and obeyed him, breathless and blushing. She turned to face the mirror and saw her reflection up close. Her nipples were pushing out the tiny bikini-top fabric. Danny’s reflection over her shoulder showed him looking at her backside like a hungry wolf, his eyes devouring every inch of her booty.
Danny stepped closer, his body pressing against hers, male hardness grinding into her. He reached around and cupped her breasts, thumbs tracing over her nipples. She closed her eyes and leaned back, losing herself in the sensation. His breath tickled her neck, his lips brushed her ear. “You look so damn good in this bikini,” he whispered, voice low and husky. She whispered, “All yours.” Then flinched, frightened by the sound of what she was sure was Danny’s zipper being drawn down. She right-faced him over a shoulder, quiet-hissing, “Don’t you dare take it out.”
But it was too late. The heat of Danny’s naked erection pressed into her butt cheek.
“Danny,” she whispered, but didn’t stop him or turn or elbow him or anything. She endured the sexual torture and fear of discovery, each second tightening screws and making her wilder and more unnerved.
Danny’s hands grasped her hips. His thumbs hooked into the bikini-bottom waistband, teasing the possibility of him sliding them down her legs. She held her breath and closed her eyes and imagined Danny’s hard length sinking into her right there in the changing room.

The possessive proclamations were new to their marriage, and she liked them. She liked Danny confirming in unambiguous terms that not only did she belong to him, he cherished her, lusted for her. The mere sight of his wife in a string bikini turned his manhood to an iron bar and put that lecherous growl in his voice. Danny made her special; Danny made her powerful. Her hands pressed flat on the cold mirror, fingers curling against the smooth surface as she tried to hold back the pleasure wave that threatened to overwhelm her, drag her into the deeper, darker waters.

She turned around, Danny retreating to the other side of the room, tucking his fully erect member back into his pants, zipping up with a small smirk. She leaned her back on the mirror, heart pounding in her chest. “Why’d you stop?”
“That’s all you get right now,” he said, voice low and husky. “Maybe if you’re good, I’ll give you a little more later.”
She chuckled and pushed her hair back from her face, fanning herself for a few seconds. “Danny, what’s gotten into you? I can’t believe you’re doing this to me.” Her body still hummed with the vibes of their illicit passion.
Danny stepped closer to her. He reached out, thumb brushing against her nipple pressing out the thin fabric of her bikini top. “You better get out of that before we ruin it,” he said, teasing. “Can I tell her we’re taking it?”
She nodded, breath hitching, knees weakening as his thumb continued to circle her nipple. “Yeah, we’re definitely taking it,” she said. Her heart was racing, her body aching for more.
Then she frowned at Danny, unsure. She said, “Promise me you didn’t send that to Hemi.”
“I didn’t,” Danny said. “But by dinner time, I’m going to talk you into letting me. Don’t you want to know what he thinks?”
“No, I definitely don’t. He’s not going to see me in it, Danny. Why would you show it to him?”
“Do you think you’d have the guts to wear that in front of him?”
She laughed and folded her arms over her breasts, putting her hands in her armpits, shaking her head and saying, “Absolutely not. There’s no way, Danny. Zero chance.”
Danny showed a sly smile. “We’ll see about that.”
He stepped back, opened the door, winked, then went outside, leaving her to get changed back into her clothes.
Through the door, she heard him say, “She’s going to add that swimsuit to our pile,” and the sales woman said, “I bet she looks fantastic in it.”

Once dressed, she returned to the bustling real world of the rainy-day boutique, crammed with more shoppers, weaving through them, finding Danny at the checkout in the swimsuit aisle. Someone had retrieved the other items they’d collected for purchase. Shopping was over anyway—her legs were shaking too much and her brain had been sex-rewired.
At the counter, with the sales associate turned away, Danny told her, “Ah, Hemi just got back to me.” He wagged his phone, big smile on his face.
Fear spiked and adrenalin raced. Her toes tingled, and she went lightheaded, thinking of Hemi seeing her with almost nothing on, and knowing there would be only one reason a husband would send such a photo to another man. A stranger to them. The man’s wife was on the marketplace.
But she believed Daniel wouldn’t do that to her; believed him when he said he hadn’t sent it. She said, “Oh, yeah? What did he think of my bikini?”
“I didn’t send him a shot of you in the bikini, but give me a wink, and I will.” He watched her.
She regarded him coolly. “I’m not winking.”
Danny put his phone away in his jacket pocket. “Hemi’s got a big day for us tomorrow. We need to hit the hay early tonight, kiddo.” He leaned over as the sales woman began keying in the prices and kissed her forehead.
