Ya I'm in the same boat. I like the story and would be happy to pay for 10-15 chapters a month. I'm not willing to pay for 4 chapters coming out at random times per month though. I really wonder what's up with the author. In my view he has done the hard part, he's written a good story and built up a big audience. Each chapter from 6 months ago had 100's of likes, so he must have been printing. But now he releases at a glacial rate at random times, he hasn't updated RR in months, he doesn't give us any idea what's happening or how much he plans to release in the future.

Dolduck

The authors very large family is constantly sick and on the very edge of death. I assume he lives directly under a nexus of power lines in a house infested with black mold, drinking from a well polluted by sewage and has had every strain of COVID known to science.

Joshua

I thought author was posting again. Love the novel but last time I give him any money

Michael Gordon

Is the author only dropping 4 chapters a month now? he dropped 4 chaos each month in the last two months. I'm seriously enquiring.

Primal Hunter Prodigy! Perception for the win!

Chemist_Errant

I wonder what the fusion of all of Reivan's sensory skills would be? Sensory prodigy, or something like Awareness prodigy?

Connor Hinrichs

I think it's a mistake, should definitely be merged into clandestine

Connor Hinrichs

Why does Reivan think that he can't merge his movement/body skills, specifically: Dance, Balance, athletics, running, swimming, acrobatics, March, Forced March, abidexteirty, Rythym, ride, horsemanship and Breath Control. This list is as long as some of the other merged skill lists we've seen

IAN A WILSON

If that was true his girlfriend would have more talent then him as she's know ad a 14 soul

Tristan R Mitchell

Actually, given the focus on "three soul talents" and "seven soul talents", and that our boy has nine orbs in his soul-orb? It might be that his reincarnation is the source of his talent, as more souls = more talent.

NJ Reed

Thanks for the chapter

IAN A WILSON

His reincarnation explains his hard work and work ethic. The fate mage explains his talent. But for the fate mage to meddle he had to have the MC born in a already monstrously talented family, its not like the fate mage had created a body for MC. Was it not said that his mother had the purest bloodline they had seen on thousands of years before her empire was destroyed? And said talent has been passed off to her offspring. Your acting like it's strange for the sisters to have talent when it's not, it would be a bigger plot hole if the MCs family wasn't talented. Because as established earlier the MCs reincarnation gave him the advantage in a hard work and work ethic. Not his inherent talent, that came from his body/bloodline

Disclancer

Oh I believe they train and get taught. Same as millions of other children with talented parents thoughtout this story's world. I dont disagree that they should be skilled. I disagree with how skilled they are, it's incongruous to the world setting. Reivyn is also incongruous to the world setting, but thats supposed to be because he's a reincarnated soul and the result of a meddling fate mage.

IAN A WILSON

They haven't tho. Who taught our MC his basic knowledge in mana? His mother, the same goes for his sisters, they were taught by there shared mother. They both have the same first teacher when it comes to mana, and we know there mother Is massively talented in her own right as an imperial princess. The twins and the MC just took different paths when it came to apply that knowledge she taught them to there training. I think you believe they don't train and don't get taught because it's not written about. But it's simply impossible for any author to write a training/teaching scence for every charecter. Just because it's not written doesn't mean we have to assume there 'frozen in time' and not improving or learning or training.

Disclancer

I will concede some rhetorical hyperbole there ;)

Disclancer

I'm not saying the twins don't put in alot of hard work. Given the trillions of people in the realms there hard work or interest isn't that special, if that's all it takes then master skills should not be so vanishingly rare as described. I can't see, given the story as read, how the twins haven't basically gone through easy mode to get their master skill, that's not to say that reivyn himself hasn't had his fair share of "narrative causality" as you rightly point out, but the twins have always been an issue for me. They have built their skills independently from nothing, achieving inexplicable feats of craftsmanship from early childhood all without structure or direction, which is in stark contrast to our MC.

Jachin Nelson

@Disclancer While i understand what you're trying to say and agree, but Mary Sue is not the correct description. A Mary Sue is a character that warps the plot of the story to highlight them above any other character to the determent of the world and the story.

IAN A WILSON

Regarding the fact that his bloodline doesn't help the MC I don't see how you came to that conclusion, it has been shown and stated multiple times that the MCs parents are massively talented, and now his sisters to, so it seems to run in the family. There's nothing on his stat page that says his bloodline gives him talent, but it wouldn't make sense if there was cause that's not part of the system. The MC does learn alot of things through hard work, but alot of things also just kinda 'come to him' after a few days. Your also insinuating the twins don't put in hard work when they do, there training is simply different from the MCs. They train via infusing there mana skills into every artistc thing they do, via MCs case of swinging weapons around all day everyday

IAN A WILSON

Yes and no, they do most likely have great talent, but only in the field of magic. There talent in other fields is probably average or below average unlike like our MC who seems to be monsterly talented in all fields. You also wrong In the fact that it's just childish play, because it's not. It's the ability to take something they enjoy, like painting, but carving, and other artistic skills and infuse there mana skills into every moment of it. They first started doing that at like 5 if I remember right? Considering there now 17, and that they do very little outside of art then it's no suprise

Kyfe

His Bloodline was at Level 0. At this point, it's inert and he only gains the bonuses at the Thresholds. These thresholds represent Class Levels. The biggest advantage at Level 0 is that someone with the right resources can get all of the bonuses up front. The disadvantage is they have to wait to clear those Levels. If he hadn't unlocked his Bloodline, it would have never given him any bonus Stats even after Level 100. The advantage of unlocking, or reaching Level 1, is that it now provides the bonuses automatically per Level up forever. But! It has also Leveled up. It's more powerful. This is normal. That being said, lesser Bloodlines not only don't increase every Stat (the weakest give +1 to one Stat), but the one's that do give multiple Stat bonuses don't necessarily add more bonus Stats to all of them upon Leveling up (and sometimes add additional Stats to the bonus Stats instead of improving the ones already there).

Disclancer

I've not been getting involved, but I kinda disagree with this. Regarding the twins gaining mastery, if all there was too it is a special interest in childhood and practise through spontaneity and play, then given the populations of the Realm master level skills should be far more common. The twins have something extra at play that has allowed them build the magic skills they have, some super talent that Reivyn has not displayed. Reivyn gained his master skill through the "super talent" of a reborn adults focus and drive combined with directed training towards the skill as an end goal, basically through hard work. His bloodline did not apparently help or offer him an improved class apon enlistment. It is my definite sense that either the twins are indeed "Mary sue's" or that there are further revelations about why they are special, and indeed seemingly more special than the MC, to come. Both scenarios don't really appeal personally, but it is a minor gripe.

Derek Walker

A little confused how his bloodline leveled up? Is that from the divine spark? Or does that happen to every bloodline once it reaches the threshold requirement?

Disclancer

I wondered if he was going to try for a command combined skill 🤔 Would have also thought he'd have given some thought to Qi skills by now also.

Kurt A

I think Reivyn could probably get a combined movement skill if he tried to merge those, he’s got quite a few of them. Everything from Forced March to Acrobatics could combine

Kurt A

I think that’s the language they speak? I might be wrong

SodaBoBomb

What is the Skill Haman? Also, TYFC

IAN A WILSON

Good chapter for addressing all the complaints brought up last chapter

Rayse

Wonder if it's intentional for hiding not to get rolled into the clandestine prodigy skill?

Captdeth

27s

Na U good
