Oh, ok. Im guessing after the dungeon run itll be a time-skip, and in that case its not too long for the reader to keep this fact in mind.

Derek Walker

I have no idea what you consider appropriate skill leveling for these, but I would imagine .75 a month for iron will, and about 1.5 for mental fortitude. He’s been doing this for about a year, so iron will should be another + 12, and mental fortitude +24.

You know, I was thinking to myself as I wrote in my paper notes and transferred everything over to the digital notes, "despite all these hoops I'm jumping through and extra time I'm taking to make sure everything is accurate, someone is going to tell me I got something wrong. Probably Derek." Lol. I'd have to go back and look at the change that I forgot to transfer to my notes, unless you have the numbers.

Kyfe

Trying to strike a balance between showing literally everything and skipping the transition period with, "and they moved from Point A to Point B. Some things happened in between." Lol

This correction confused me at first, because I remember catching that and fixing it... but I now realize I only fixed the source after copy/pasting, lol.

Kyfe

He was having that conversation with his dad when Kefira knocked on the door. I'm keeping the focus of the narrative on the present, non-plot Arc and will show the conversation when he's telling his mom and others back in Wispan before moving on to the next major arc.

Im kinda bothered by the fact that so many important topics are just not talked about here. Or it isnt shown in-scene and instead its barely implied that those topics have been discussed. Like the implications of what Reivyn heard that masked man say during their conversation on the bridge between realms, and more recently the name of the local group, and a few others. These things should have stoked serious conversation between people, unless its implied that Reivyn is keeping these things to himself, which doesnt seem to make much sense. Like with the latter example, Reivyn said he would talk about it later, but it just never happened, or it was done off-scene. These kinds of conversations are important to world-building and immersion because it shares a lot of information on how characters view the world, as well as ground that information in a common understanding with the reader. Idk, not including that conversation feels wrong, from a narration perspective.

Derek Walker

Iron will and mental fortitude should’ve been higher. You never went back and corrected that they should’ve leveled from his affinity training, which you forgot to include in the last status update before this one

Stoked for the slice of life to be over
