I haven't bought a console in damn near a decade. There's no point. The more recent consoles hate the idea of you owning anything physical, and will deny you the use of your own device for any number of bullshit reasons. Why would I take the risk of buying one of these monstrosities just to see it turn into a glorified paperweight? Do you know what a computer does that no console can do? Run other multiple consoles from many different eras and platforms. All for free. If I don't own anything, then why bother?
