Recifense Cheers

Hi. The game currently unstalled. I am with the same problem with AoE3DE. Debug protection. 🙁

Adanedhel

Just wanted to give a heads up that activating the script makes the game unresponsive to mouse & keyboard input on the last version, I'm not sure exactly why, perhaps the drm? :/ Sucks that they made it so hard for tables/trainers.

Recifense Cheers

Regarding the game, it has now debug protection. And without debugging it will be pretty difficult to find the DRM protection routines. Cheers!

Recifense Cheers

I am very happy to know you are under treatment and getting better!!!

CompactDisc

Thanks for the new update Reci! I understand if you don't want to update this game anymore. I don't know why they put so many safeguards in single player. I would assume that it's because their multiplayer code depends on the individual clients for info?

CompactDisc

Thanks, it's getting better slowly. It went from a physical problem to a mental problem over the past 2 years. It's really been that long... wow. But at least I'm getting treatment :)

Tarkin

Any chance on getting an update?

Brendan Lowe

Good afternoon, any chance on getting an update for this table? Many thanks in advance.

Wade Phillips aka Dunning-Krueger

CD, hope your health is going good mate.

Tlan Imass

I humbly ask for an update

CompactDisc

Have you had any luck or did you forget? :P

Recifense Cheers

I will check it tomorrow.

CompactDisc

Total War ROME REMASTERED_v2-0-3_Steam_PF_CE70_S13_T12.ct That one, I just replaced the _MonSC01 code (your script writes 1 to [rsi+118], which doesn't seem to affect anything).

Recifense Cheers

What table are you using?

CompactDisc

Fyi, I noticed the 'Character can act again' function didn't work. I replaced your code with this and now it seems to work: _MonSC01: cmp dword ptr [iEnableCAA],0 je _MonSC02 // Jump if feature is disabled mov dword ptr [rsi+00000124],#-1

CompactDisc

Thanks, but I'm afraid that the godmode cheats don't work at all anymore. At least for me.

Recifense Cheers

Fix done!

CompactDisc

Indeed it seems to be a campaign issue, not a custom battle issue. When doing custom battle you are always 'attacker' in the code. Even when defending.

Recifense Cheers

It is nice to know you are feeling better.

Recifense Cheers

I tried to reproduce the issue using Custom Battle . I check the situations: A x D, D x A and A x A. It worked with the 3 setups. Later I will try to play a campaign and force my self to be attacked.

CompactDisc

You're welcome, and thanks for looking into it :) As for my situation: I'm doing better, but there is still a lot of work ahead of me in order to get back in normal shape. I hope you're doing a lot better :P

Recifense Cheers

I will check that. Thank for calling my attetion to that issue. Are you ok?

CompactDisc

Reci, on the forum people have been posting on this, but the table only works for the 'first' player in a battle. Which is the attacking party (with ID 0 as you correctly filter in your code). A simple suggestion to fixing this (if you can't check for player ID) is to have a variable to select the correct player number manually. Because even if given the choice between 'attacker/defender' it still might not work for the player if any faction has allies on the field as well. Ideally of course, the code would check for player ID or a 'is controlled by player' value. But I'm not sure how hard that would be to find.

Jonathan

no worries! Love your tables so no rush

Recifense Cheers

It will take sometime because of the protection. Cheers!

Jonathan

Thanks mate, No rush! :)

Recifense Cheers

Ok. I will re-install the game.

Jonathan

Yes 8/11

Recifense Cheers

Was it updated recently?

Jonathan

I dont know if its just me but this table is not working. It Crashes the engine.

Caspar Minning

Thanks so much Recifense, a very nice piece of work went into this!

CompactDisc

I wish I could say I felt a lot better, but I don't really. I've been worse though, it has its ups and downs. I'm taking meds to get through the hardest moments, but I'll need some therapy to get over all the issues I have at the moment. I've wanted to make a few tables too, lately, but I never got myself to finish anything.

Recifense Cheers

How are you? Feeling better?

CompactDisc

I'm glad to hear you found an easy way around the crashes at least, despite all the trouble you must have had with that. Thanks for the time you put in. Your table seems to be the only one on the net at the moment that doesn't completely crash the game after a few seconds :P

Recifense Cheers

So I continue testing CE73 and updating other games and started working again on TWRR. That's the story.

Recifense Cheers

It was a programmer's blindness. The kind that all is working on your head and so you can't see the error. When I started testing CE73, I noticed a new feature that could help me in furure game analysis. I found some issues on that particular feature and once fixed by Dark Byte, I decided to use it on a game that was crashing and, in this way, I could not debug it. The new feature helped to see some registers even with game crashing. As soon as I saw the registers, I found the issue. A single change and the bypass of CRC protection worked.

Recifense Cheers

Have fun!

CompactDisc

Wheee! I'm glad to see you finally managed to finish it ;) I hope it didn't break your mind?

Katangesa

Thank you. Waiting for this since release of TWRR.
