Call for help, printing woes....
🕑 Added 2024-04-16 19:02:54 +0000 UTCMy dear patrons, I haven't been very active this month because for the past 2 weeks I've been on a rollercoaster of an anxiety, stress and depression train.
Elegoo sent me their Jupiter SE for review and to make a video with the model printed as they usually do, the plan was to print out the model for the video and immediately start printing the model for Usagi and Mamoru and the base and bed are huge and don't fit into the build plate of my Saturn 3, but now I can't seem to get this printer to work at all, I barely managed to print out the Frieren model for the video but with a ton of failures and wasted resin to boot.
I've been trying to get help through my socials but lots of people suggest lots of different things and nothing helps at all.
I'm at my wits end here... I gave up on trying to get this work, I'm not a noob for printing but I'm not an advance user so there's still a lot of things I don't know how to do or tackle but this is just sending into spiral of anxiety and stress because I can't get anything to stick to the plate.
If you or someone you know is very knowledgeable and experienced with 3D resin printing and is willing to hop on a call with me to go into detail of everything that I've tried and attempted, please I beg you, my dms are open and I'll even hop online in their local time to catch them awake if they're on the other side of the world.
If I can't get the Jupiter to print, I can't print out this project and I don't know what to do at this point....

Oh and they test every model they make so it doesn't fail on various types of resins and printers if I recall that correctly, so I'd say they would have the most knowledge that I know of of how to get prints to succeed often. Also my rule of thumb when self supporting models is basically Mimic other people and over do it a bit less risk of failure, but does mean more time cleaning.

If it's any help I use Elegoo Printers and the best models I've ever found that have never failed on me were by Bulkamancer. They have a team that supports and cuts their models amazingly well. They are on Patreon, Cults3d, MyMiniFactory. I also specifically use a slicing software called Lychee and you can select what printer you are using and specific resin settings that multiple people have used in the past and has ratings for each of those resins. Just type in the name and color and there's a list of settings people have used for that resin and printer.

I have no advice or suggestions but sending all of the positive vibes and encouragement for this to be resolved soon and without much more distress for you! I’m sorry to hear of the struggle, you’re an amazing human and this is an unfortunate hill to climb but we’ll be here to cheer you on!
