Aoba update #3

Hope your week is going well even tho we're just 2 days into it ๐
I have a mini update for you guys on Aoba, he's now primed and ready for me to check what other imperfections were left behind that my nakked eyes couldn't see.
The one thing I a freaken hate about e's castings is that for some damn reason, all their kits need a deep cleaning because they use super strength mold release on all their kits that even when scrubbing and soaking for a whole week ๐ก, I still get this shit, the primer will create ripples on the surface like this, making me have to work double because I need to polish the surface then reprime again ๐
None of the other kits that I have from gk model and even original kits have this reaction to the primer I use, I have no clue what they use for mold release but it's really stubborn to get off.
Aoba's body was pretty heavy for an alligator clip to hold it so I had to think of a way to keep it from being touched ...for now ๐ so he's hanging around right now ๐คฃ
I should be polishing the pieces once the primer is cured and then sand some trouble areas then he's ready for painting ๐
I actually purchased a 3D resin printer a few days ago and I've still yet to set it up, but with that now available to me, so I will be printing all the sexy toys he's gonna have around him ๐ I'll take pictures of the setup and post it later in my social media ๐
So if anybody knows a good site to download or purchase STL files for some sexy toys, let me know in the comments cuz all this is pretty new to me and not at all resourceful when it comes to knowing where to get the files to print out.

On the mold release, I've had some luck scrubbing the more stubborn varieties off using baking soda. Adds a little abrasiveness. If you want less abrasion toothpaste is a step back and if you want more, Comet is a step up. For 3D files, Etsy is good if you have a little cash to throw. Thingiverse is a hot mess but everything is free.
I would say Etsy might have some fun stuff for ya.
