Dan Wheatley

Hahahaha. Amazing description!

Bill F Protagoras

Yup! When Josh reached the end of his tether and patience with Kimmy immediately after the Penitenziagite Day Pregnancy Oops Revelation Debacle! Each of them retired to their separate corners, then the very next day she had tactfully returned to work thereby further tweaking Josh's antlers! With impressive logic she 'revealed' to Devlin, who she had insisted to Josh against all the odds had not fathered a bastard on the Waters... that HE HAD! Gilding the lily by making a commemorative video of the momentous event! Simultaneously making a fresh deposit in her frenied wank bank... and teaching that cad Devlin a much deserved lesson! It's all clear as mud! And nonetheless people dare to impugn her well-intentioned motives! "Devlin said to the reflection, speaking to Kimmy holding the camera, “You are crazy. I never knew how crazy.” “I’m giving you what you want,” Kimmy said to Devlin..." And, included in this special economy pack, what Josh needs! What could possibly go wrong?

Kat

I was thinking the same thing, that Josh’s first reaction would be to question Colleen’s paternity, even though he knows she’s his. We only know what Kimmy described in Chapter 10, Book 14. Hearing the actual dialogue will tell us a lot. She said some pretty terrible things, according to her, in that video. Josh is going to have some sort of reaction. It may not all be positive, but then again, he gets turned on by being hurt. Who knows what KT has in mind? I’m waiting to be surprised.

Zach

Thank you!

Chris K

Last chapter of book 13.

Chris K

It is. Can't recall where it was. But Kimmy got so hot and bothered she started smashing her own "like" and "subscribe" buttons later in bed.

Zach

Is this the same video where Kimmy told Devlin she was having his baby? I'm getting confused between the videos... not able to precisely picture the timeline on that video. In which book/chapter does the video recording "start"?

JL23

Right, we need to see how far she went. His lust is winning his internal war at the moment, but it can change in a blink. We know the impetus for getting Devlin to try the panties on was her saying he was the baby’s father. I know she told Josh that she said this to Devlin in order to mess with him, but we’ll see how he reacts to hearing her say it directly to Devlin, and getting him to believe it. He notes the malevolent look in her eyes, and that she’s almost speaking to him through the camera. Like they’re in it together even if he’s watching almost 2 years from when she actually filmed it. That connection probably helps him accept it. But he might react negatively seeing Devlin thinking what he’s being told is true. And maybe it brings back those terrifying thoughts that maybe it is true. Maybe he’s still the sucker.

Kat

Yeah, I didn’t have too many thoughts either, just that I need more. Lol We also need to “see” the whole video, as well. All we know of it is what Kimmy told us back in Book 14.

JL23

I don’t have much to say on this chapter, feels like I need to see Josh watch the entire video before I can really have a thought. One thing I noticed was Kimmy bringing up the black eye, and Josh’s prideful reaction to having caused it. Made me wonder if Kimmy knew exactly what Josh was thinking about when he asked when this video was shot, and this was her way of easing his fears she might still be running a con on him with Devlin.

Mum's the word from now on, KT. I will keep the faith in silence! I hope you will take the exquisite time that makes your prose so incisive... but don't keep writing until the magnificent edifice you have created becomes top heavy!

Bill F Protagoras

Your wish is my command... I will refrain from wittering 'on' about things, and believe me you have said nothing that I could possibly misunderstand. I too prefer KT's words to yours... I have just been too polite to point it out. Until now. I am not trying to communicate with you... by the way.

Jim

Does anyone have any clue what Bill F Protagoras is wittering in about? More KT and less BillP PLEASE X

Bill F Protagoras

KT said she foresaw a resolution to the challenge she was set... and I take her at her word... and her consummate skill with words... Yes, I love how her skill makes us beg for more. But no... resolution will only lead to dissolution... Each new chapter convinces me more of her exceptional outstanding talent but I am also writhing in anticipation of what she envisioned... The title of this latest/last book still shares the epic motif yet the titles of these final chapters rely not on invocation but contemporary worldly knowledge... even of a prosaic nature... One version of Odysseus's travels ends with him abandoning Ithaca with an oar over his shoulder and travelling ever inland until at long last a person asks him what it is that he is carrying... "The art of being a slave is to rule one's master."

Bill F Protagoras

"bolstered" Hohoho!

Bill F Protagoras

Bamboozle... First reference Colley Cibber, eighteenth century... origin unknown. I offer... 'to lead someone astray in a thicket of bambu'!

Bill F Protagoras

"I will tell you why; so shall my anticipation prevent your discovery, and your secrecy to the King and queene: moult no feather. I have of late, (but wherefore I know not) lost all my mirth, forgone all custom of exercises; and indeed, it goes so heavily with my disposition; that this goodly frame the earth, seems to me a sterile promontory; this most excellent canopy the air, look you, this brave o'er hanging firmament, this majestical roof, fretted with golden fire: why, 'it appeareth no other thing to me, than a foul and pestilent congregation of vapours' (Avernus). What a piece of work is a man, How noble in reason, how infinite in faculty, In form and moving how express and admirable, In action how like an Angel, In apprehension how like a god, The beauty of the world, The paragon of animals. And yet to me, what is this quintessence of dust? Man delights not me; no, nor Woman neither; though by your smiling you seem to say so." Hamlet baiting the trap in converse with his treacherous school pals Rosencrantz and Guildenstern (who like Hamnet, and like everyone else at play's end, are dead!).

Bill F Protagoras

"She didn’t look like the women with him now." Is the 'women' even a mistake or a deliberate redoubling, and mirroring that Josh didn't send to his fearsome wife to ask about?

Bill F Protagoras

An instalment jampacked with subtle meanings and laden with clever winks and nods. A dusky delight...

Bill F Protagoras

Darkly ruminant... The temerity to request a never ending story I find unavailable at this moment. The eternal return of the cool woman construed with the threat of splinters is sufficient unto the moment. This first new year's offering both denies and teases resolution! Every time KT puts pixels to virtual parchment my own thirst for a darkness visible is assuaged, and the gloom that bleeds into the daytime is staunched, or plugged with a Dutch kid's digit... Thanks to whoever small mercies are owed to... You, KT, I guess! Or suppose...

Kat

I agree with Jim. I don’t want this story to end, too. Please give us another chapter soon! 🤞

Jim

This is great, brilliant- but please don’t keep us waiting so long for the next part. Oh, and do not even think any more about concluding this series.
