“Tell me what you’re poking around about.”
“You know Paloma’s here, right?”

“I’m poking around about that.”
“You said Philippe wanted to work it out with her.”
“I did.”

“I don’t know yet.”

I'm keeping that close to my vest. I live ever in hope! Though I'm 99.9% sure I have no chance. It started as a random thought that I put too much credence in because I thought it would be a very interesting twist. It's one of the best, and worst, things about getting a chapter every few days. Lots of time to contemplate and enjoy scenarios.... also lots of time to get them wrong!

You know those moments where you think you have it all figured out only for something to happen that rubs it in your face that you're wrong and don't have a clue? I'm having one of those right now. Thanks, KT. Poor Lily. Poor me, too. On another note, that scene with Chey and Scarlet was funny, because you KNOW that Scarlet isn't going to let that drop when they have their conversation. I do wonder how that hot sexy fun time with Byron, and why it occurred, is going to flavor Chey's plan. It feels like a setup for Byron to make an offer for Chey to be with Cody, which I still feel like is the wrong move for a number of reasons. Chey barely had enough will power to do what she did here, I'm pretty sure she won't have it in her to say no if Byron puts the option out there. We'll see. Hero Byron really deserves a reward of similar value to what Chey has gotten multiple times. For a number of reason, some that are vital, imo, to the long term health of their relationship. That said, I think Chey from book 2, who was SO jealous of Lily and Cody, would never have made the move she did today, she'd have made a mistake. So, maybe she will do the right thing? There's so much going on here my head is spinning trying to keep up.
