“Did you talk to Byron about what he did?”
“With Carla? Yeah,” she said. “We talked a bit last night and more this morning. It makes me sick to think of it. But then: What about me? I know what I did.”
“And you told Byron?”
She nodded, saying nothing.
“You and Byron are still good?”
