And he and Kimmy would be restored to where they were before the summer, which wasn’t a bad place at all. The money would be gone but it was crazy to think Kimmy wasn’t viable on the market. So he’d proven to himself that he could meet Devlin’s gaze and not wither nor kowtow. He chuckled at the good feeling. Kimmy chastising him for being too macho. Who would have thought? He smiled, said, “I know he’s your boss. I’ll be mindful in the future.”
She smiled too, said, “I didn’t hate it.”
“Me acting macho?”
“Very possessive, Josh.”
“Well, you’re mine,” he said, hugging her tighter.
“Are you jealous?”
“Very.”
“I love you,” she sighed.
“I love you, too. You’re mine.”
“Totally,” he said, making a happy grumbling in his throat.
What a day it’d been. What an incredible twenty-four hours, really. The awful torment of yesterday seemed so distant now, and it was hard to believe he was the same man who’d snuck downtown and crept around the Royal York looking for proof his wife was cheating on him. It seemed so long ago. Though, truly, the hurt was just below the surface. Kimmy’d topped up the reservoir of their marriage today, but if you looked straight down, and the light was just right, you could catch a glimpse of the weirdness of the past few weeks. It was his duty as well to add to their tank, to sink the badness to further depths.
But what could he offer? His best. Well, he’d done his best for her tonight, that was for sure. She’d been a veritable dynamo that had made his perseverance impossible, but she’d roused him again and he’d delivered. But what more could he offer beyond just sex? . . . Masks are not a 100% neither are condom but they add to the margin of safety! Masks are a very common thing in Asian countries before the covid-19 outbreak. I see people protesting about masks DUMB! Masks are a simple thing allows us to get the economy started again. In general I've seen most place observing the distancing rules here in SoCal. I was able to get a hair cut last week, last one was in February started to look like a cross between Gene Wilder's "Willy Wonka" and Doc Brown of "Back to the Future". We all had masks on barber taped my mask on while cutting around my ears! First time I didn't get any hair up my nose! Was a Boy Scout and a proud flag waver and a strong believer in personal freedom. BUT! my freedoms end at the tip of my nose as do yours. This is a simple measure that can be applied to most things. Environmental can't dump toxic waste on your property because it'll migrate to your neighbors property over time etc. Wearing a mask out in public is the same thing stops your bio waste from effecting you fellow citizens. Just think honestly and analyze most of your own behavior using that and the Golden Rule "do unto others as you would have done unto you" and you'll have a happy, productive society. Wow. Covidiots are everywhere, aren't they? It's a crime that you have to put up with such things. Here's hoping you never test positive. Sincerely, take care of yourself, bro. I too see book 6 starting Friday possibly in the jet readying for takeoff or in the air heading for the Caymans. Possible an introspective Kimmy or Josh(if he is there) looking back over the past weeks events. Book five needs to complete the setup for the weekend. I would say it would be good to have Kimmy and Devlin get together one time before the trip. Other that pure prurient interests if I recall correctly Kimmy put off Devlin at the party because she was afraid penetration would hurt. I think she need to have another workout to remain flexible! Like any athletic activity it is important to keep the muscles flexible to maintain the needed range of motion. No pain no gain. Sounding like a broken record we are again at the mercy of KT's talents!

good comments all around RCH, lol I don’t think it matters what analogy you use as long as it’s compared to well received novels cause this is a well written story. CSH, you are correct you don’t need the villain to have his presence, but Devlin’s presence isn’t strong enough currently to provide angst without him present. His relationship is too fragile with a Kimmy, for instance in your scenario Kimmy would be pissed if she finds out Devlin was the reason Josh couldn’t go. She isn’t infatuated with Devlin enough yet.. And that is why I think we need more Kimmy and Devlin before this book ends. Hopefully by the time the Cayman’s are over Kimmy will be invested in her affair with Devlin so he could tell her something like that and she’d still continue fucking him. Hell, their one time they got together this book Kimmy turned him down, and didn’t even get him off (he had to jack off himself). Right now it seems like they are making a mountain out of mole hill. In reality I’d either like Kimmy and Devlin to develop feelings for each other or at the very least Kimmy needs to develop feelings for the type of person Devlin is. As far as the scenario you suggest. I don’t mind the premise, I’d change some of the execution (matter of taste you like Josh being involved a lot more than I do.) such as instead of Kimmy telling Josh to call Devlin during sex with Josh, I’d have Josh text Kimmy during lunch on Wednesday and then Kimmy tell josh to call Devlin. Cut to later that afternoon/evening (after Kimmy and Devlin have completed the business part of the meeting I mention above, Devlin gets a call and talks to Josh while he and Kimmy are fooling around.” The rest of the story can go as you propose, but I’d make Devlin initial involvement in Josh not being able to go ambiguous like the text messages are. Again I don’t think Kimmy is quite yet ready to have Devlin’s devil horns revealed and still stay willing to sleep with him. David, this book most certainly will end before they get to Cayman. I just want this book to be extended through Thursday night so when book 6 opens the focus is solely on what is happening in real time vs what happened between book 5 and 6. I too wonder what Devlin’s end goal is. I wouldn’t mind it if his goal was to try and take Kimmy away from Josh (wether it’s because of actual feelings towards Kimmy or just to fuck over Josh one more time.) but other goals would be fine too.

@Chinookfan72 I agree, that this book will probably end before they touch down on the Caymens. Book 6 has to be entirely about their time there. Hard to predict what will happen in the Caymens. I would be surprised, if Devlin wouldn't be there. In some way Josh may get more doubts about his wife having an affair, and i agree, something big is looming on the horizon. I don't feel like Josh will get conclusive evidence or even watch them having sex. At the moment that would break him. If that ever happens, KT has to take time for the build up. Which will not be easy, because the story takes place so far in such a small time frame. Personally I'm wondering if Devlin wants Kimmy exclusively for himself or if he is willing to share her. What's his end goal anyway. Is he after Kimmy, because he hadn't her in high school or does he like to play with Josh. I would like to learn more about his motivation at some point.

I'm still sticking with my "Game of Throne" analogy! Kimmy and Josh the young Cersei and Jaime Lannister. Book 5 was okay. It was Book 4 of Harry Potter that was the worst. LoL! That was a transitional book too. I’m enjoying this book though since in this one Hermione is secretly screwing Voldemort! Anyway a real Voldemort doesn’t need to be present to be a presence, which is where we’re heading in this story as Devlin dominates their sex life as a couple. And since we all like to set up our own scenes, how about this: Wednesday, Josh’s employer tells Josh they can’t spare him and Kimmy says they should ask Devlin to intercede. Josh resists and wallows in the humiliation a bit and in the middle of sex with Kimmy, gives in to her prompting and blurts out that she should go with Devlin. Instead Kimmy insists Josh call Devlin personally and ask for a favor. It’s humiliating for Josh and secretly turns Kimmy on but it works, Josh gets the time off and they go together. After screwing Kimmy senseless on the island, Devlin admits he set the whole thing up. When they all get back, Josh calls Devlin and thanks him for his help and they begin meeting up occasionally.

Thanks CSH, yeah most of this stuff is personal opinion and we aren’t going to agree. Overall, I’d say this book is enjoyable and has been beneficial for the story, but without Devlin and Kimmy getting together it would be like year 5 of Harry Potter without mentioning Voldemort. Also Hyun’s already been in this book so unless she is going to be used again what is the point of showing the interaction between Hyun and Kimmy in the first place?

Patience......DavidSilver you’re probably right about Patreon and the long story. Agree that we are just starting the middle of the story as a whole. This is a transitional book and Josh and Kimmy are in a period of transition in their relationship. Personally I’m enjoying it a lot. More actually than the, will she, won’t she, of her meeting Devlin. I consider the scenes here to have been very erotic and they are appropriate and necessary for subsequent events. There’s still Wednesday and Thursday so we’ll see but I see the focus of this book to be the transformation of Kimmy and Josh’s relationship and I’m not a fan of adding in others. Even real Devlin should be held back till the trip, though dream Devlin will be in their bedroom nightly and Kimmy may want to get a consultation over the phone regarding Josh. The one thing that I find odd in the series though is that what seems slow and gradual in the books is actually only a matter of days in actual time. There’s an interesting time distortion going on.

BNR, Amy lives across the pond so KT’s ability to use her in the future is limited. I’d think Amy will return for the first overseas trip Kimmy and Devlin take as part of Kimmy’s job. David, none of what I’m suggesting has to be overly big, a couple chapters for the meeting and a couple chapters for Thursday. That way book six can be solely about Cayman. I’d argue any meeting between Kimmy and Devlin is bigger than a party for Josh, which is the bulk of this book so far. I also don’t see a quick end to the series after Cayman, but I do think Cayman will be a major inflection point that all things are building towards.

Another fine chapter! Kimmy is starting to scare me. Who is this woman? Hubris vast quantities of it that is what Kimmy has! Lifted from Websters: "To the Greeks, hubris referred to extreme pride, especially pride and ambition so great that they offend the gods and lead to one's downfall." I do have to agree with Chinookfan72 that you would think that there would be some prep for the meeting between Kimmy and Devlin. If that is the case then I think we'll see some carnal activity between Kimmy and Devlin. At this point I don't know if Josh will be forced to say behind or if he go with Kimmy. I definitely see Devlin showing up on in the Cayman Islands. There is a setup for Josh and Devlin to have a showdown of one kind or another. Perhaps Josh is delayed but catches a flight with Devlin? Regardless Friday the day of the would be a good start of the next book. Depending on what drama happens before board the jet. We'll see what KT has in store for us.

I can't see what kind of big story could happen before they go to the Caymens, but we'll see what happens. I would be happy to see them of to the Caymens now. I don't see a quick end of the series after that. KT plays this story very slow. There are a lot of possibilities. Patreon makes the long story probably possible.

This book has provided a lot for the story line 1) it’s given us a even5 to look forward to 2) it’s provided a bridge for Devlin and Josh to communicate 3) it’s introduced a potential domestic ally for Kimmy 4) it’s furthered Kimmy acceptance of the affair as something that will happen again. 5) It’s further’s Josh’s journey cuck journey and finally 6) it’s furthered Kimmy’s humiliation of Josh in the bedroom.. That being said I really hope we get more chapters in this book before it wraps. Personally I think there are events likely to happen between now and the trip so I’d rather they get covered in this book than say take up the first couple chapters of the next book. Assuming the meeting is legit in Cayman I’d imagine Kimmy and Devlin would have to discuss what he wants Kimmy to get out of the meeting. I don’t think it’s reasonable to send someone into a cold meeting like that an expect to get anything beneficial out of it. Even if the meeting is fake I’d still expect Devlin to act as if it’s real and hold a meeting with Kimmy over what he wants her to cover etc. This would also allow for another sexual encounter with Devlin before they go. Personally I believe the erotica is a little light in the book so far as all we’ve gotten is Devlin fingering Kimmy and jerking off (this seems like a step back from the momentum that was building through book 4, and I’d expect that momentum to continue to build through the trip.) I’d also like to see Kimmy have another shopping spree (picking out cloths for her to wear for Josh, and maybe something packed away just in case Devlin shows). I think that would be a good way to advance Kimmy and Hyun’s friendship (I know I’ve said this before, but Kimmy needs local friends she can vent to. Josh has Meyer and Steve, Kimmy needs someone as well). Given we know Hyun at least admires Kimmy (if not is fully attracted to her) this provides another dynamic down the road after the trip to see if Kimmy will tell Hyun her secrets and maybe Hyun can join in on the fun. So if the meeting is Wednesday and the shopping is Thursday that would take us right up to the day of the trip. The cliff hanger would still be if Josh is able to go as I’d imagine if he can’t go he wouldn’t find out til morning of, and would be a great way to start book 6. These are more just a matter of taste though as I’m sure many will disagree with my take.. Either way, if this was the end of the book I’m still looking forward to where KT takes us.

Fun ending(?) It WAS fun and sexy but I'm not totally sure that was the end. If it was, I kind of hot that we skip ahead all the way to the flight to Cayman. I can't stand the anguish that would come from spending a whole other book just getting ready for the trip. Especially if Kimmy is going to leave LAND MINES everywhere! Who knows. I guess KT know the best way to continue. Just my opinion

Slightly off topic, but this is building off of a recent discussion from Donk about how erotic stories are warping my real world perception of things. I was listening to this song today and totally turned the song into a KT story and had a chuckle out of doing so when I caught myself. The song is Breakfast in Bed by Mayer Hawthorne. I am glad I found this artist who really seems to be putting a modern spin on 70's R&B style (a personal favorite). The lyric that set me off is in the chorus, "Let's order breakfast in bed, just you and me and Mr. Sunshine." Lovely stuff, Kimmy has really sharpened her compartmentalization skills, but props for being truly supportive of her husband. Making sure not to tell him every detail of Devlin's love making as if it were a fantasy, only it isnt lol. I had to chuckle at, "I'll only use [humiliation] on special occasions" aka "I'll only use that every time going forward from here on out." lol So its official that for sure Devlin will be at the Caymans along with Josh, and Josh knows Devlin will be there.
