We feel that making Steam EA players wait until new features are without major bugs is perfectly fair. Patrons at the new tier will be playing a dev build that might not even fully work as intended yet, just to see new stuff as early as possible and provide extra support. If the new Patreon tier didn't exist, it would change nothing about when the game gets updated on Steam.

I do not think that having patron-only builds after EA launch that are not open for EA people is fair business practice. Steam EA should have the latest builds as this is the idea of EA: you get unfinished game as soon as possible. RoN devs did something similar and it just looks like double dipping to ask people to buy supporter edition for the "real" early access. You can have opt-in Beta on Steam.

As long as you're using the same Patreon account, it all counts. We pull your lifetime total donations from the stats spreadsheet.

Im pretty sure I supported for a couple months but as a broke college student had some expenses come up, finally have enough expendable income again so I’m back. Do these different periods count, or will it be based off of my most recent contribution period?

No, the last day to hit the mark is September 4. On September 5 we will pull the final stats and assemble the list.

As far as I know, it's converted to dollars at time of payment, for each payment, and then added to the running total. We will be going by your listed lifetime amount in the stat tracking Patreon shows us.

It includes any money successfully paid to GHPC from your current Patreon account at any time, even if you took breaks from subscription.

I was a patron in 2021 from April to July and started it back up this year back in May. I was wondering if for the lifetime subscription, does it include the previous time I was a patron or is it only this current one?

First off: Congrats on entering Early Access soon! The hype is real. Secondly: Wasn't expecting to get the game like that, what a pleasant surprise! Very interested on how the Patreon tier restructuring ends up.
