Reworked CG set I'd say sits at a SR-2, or mid level semirealism. I'll admit I was getting tired finishing these all up at the same time. It was on the side until just deciding to do it before ending up jumping around again. Includes extra variant for Rema. It sparked some ideas I can make variants on in itself.

Interspecies - Amalgamation w/process

*Cetrine would form an affection for the mutated amalgamations and abominations, being former sentient beings; Huema, Aqualyte, Ariem and more more twisted by the corruption of the abyss. Whether fault of their own or fell into a legacy they had no part in, Cetrine, rare as it was, would show comfort to those still maintaining sanity. How far would she go? How far would it go? Why?

*I wasn't sure where this was going when I started. Was thinking of a random piece, but then I remembered I don't have the rest of Gavrielle daughters from Sun & Moon drawn yet. Not sure if Felicitta will be this old as she is the fourth child. Where the shirt could work in a Baroque/steampunk setting, maybe not the hair. I'll work on that. The look behind her was to have the rounded features of Rema or Miriam when younger, but resemblance to Magnolia.

*As you can see, the original and revamp are entirely different aside the same pose for Miriam. I attempted a more direct rework in a semirealistic style, but it just didn't look right. Maybe had I did it more stylized as the above, but the original was just doing something random and might be confusing as to what it was getting it.

Finally took some time to capture steps for one way I go about redraws. I didn't need to necessarily do the new linework. 1) New bg layer because Miriam's skin tone is hard to see and I usually start with lightest or mid tone. 2) Base color layer. 3) Base layer made transparent to show the old drawing underneath as a guide. Unless changing a lot or feel to many anatomical fixes to make, I'll just redraw entirely. 4) New linework added to guide, but wasn't necessary. 5) Experiment with new coloring approach.
