This past week I had an entire three days in a row without doctor appointments so I drove out of the Denver area and visited some hot springs that I’ve been meaning to check out since I discovered them a few weeks ago. Met up with my local friend Mo in Boulder on Wednesday and spent some quality time together while making some season-appropriate art! Give me creative hangs or leave me alone. Diffusion (sample)
Played with some in-camera light techniques yesterday at a house I was sitting. I want to practice more light play stuff like this to supplement my constant desire to shoot outdoor nudes. I took a few portraits that got pretty up close and personal.... you’ll see.This diffusion was provided by an empty plastic water bottle.Coming up with these ideas and the excitement to execute them and see how it goes is often the thing that gets me out of bed. Find the thing that gets you out of bed and just do that thing every day.

Today was a bad body day. So instead of resting I tried out a new style of shooting. I've always loved those hazy, dreamy glamour-type shots, so tried some of my own. And my beer kept me company. I wore clothes for once.They were hard. I did kind of an OK job.I shot one thousand photos today, all day long.
