Spread em
heh heh hehI think the drawing speaks for itself so instead of that I wanna talk about Miks 'white' markingsOver the last few years Ive been doing an odd tint to themThey are still white, but I decided to layer on a few properties just to justify the splashes of green and blue I now useI imagine it one of a few different waysThe easiest way to explain it is that these are special hairs that develop bits of reflective or light absorbing material similar to 'ghost pearl' paintAnother way is either a microscopic crystaline/ bubble/...
Owl and some Meese
Ramona from Unicorn Overlord is having a round table discussion with some MousesThis took 3 times as long as a normal drawing due to composition/ revisions/ redraws BUUUUUUT I love the way it came out ahhhhhhhhhStarted out simple enough but on a whim I sketched in a siamese mooce, which are absolutely adorable, and I just kept adding more just to see how it would look and eventually it turned into a multiple day project to add them inAnyway I hope you like it!
Little bit of Pepper
Lot of people were gonna draw Ivy Pepper for a group waifu project and Ive been wanting to draw her for the longest so here she is, getting he brain blasted out by a suspicious possibly orange tabby like thing~ALSO for March 2024Dropbox Link: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/o5g65uoqn53ltew6eevt7/h?rlkey=kagqlt1vp3mzipd97yine4n1t&dl=0

https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/f5384pyp7illga7uf6s6d/h?rlkey=vz89gcsc8987dfvgqxzehdeaf&dl=03 Recordings, 4 PSDs!Shared is the rare colored sketch PSDI have a hard time with proportions and whatnot with lines alone, instead of measuring and comparing Im more uhhhhh vibes based lol, so a quick splash of colors really helps.Typically the sketch comes first, the colors come second under the sketch, then a furrowed brow and brainstorming comes last in the overpaint.Sometimes in my sketches youll notice repeated patterns or ghosting, thats just a pro...
Sketches/ unifinished art
- When I first saw the blue character they were called Bluey, later on it was revealed that their actual name was LingyuanI love their design!I removed the Bokko head from the older pose because it was baaaaaaaad and never meant to be seen lol. I dropped it because the pose just wasnt working for me.I love the more complete Bokko sketch though. More so than the final image! I struggled with it probably spending 3-4 extra hours trying to work up or shave off details but ultimately its just a better sketch and I shouldnt have fought it.The 2 unus...

Sketches and doodles
Half of my drawing time for this month was not productive lolWell... it was "productive"... it just didnt produce anything I liked... with one exceptionI liked where I was going with the second pose for Tigress... it just couldnt justify why they would be doing naked poses so I tossed it lolThe reshiram was a nightmareI just couldnt get a grasp on what I wanted out of itI threw in a cute chameleon but ehhhhhhhhh again I just wasnt feeling any of it and instead of continue to fight it I decided to try something else and never went back t...

Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas and a happy holidays to everyone! I hope you're all taking it easy. I know its silly but I love the idea of a loose wide neck sweater on Mik. Some might consider their offerings meager but I love them and wardrobe malfunctions are too cute!
The Black Blade
I love Maliketh but I came to a realization that I wasnt 100% sure about what he was. There are other ashen beasts in Elden Ring that look similar, the Elder Lions, so I assumed he was a Lion too. Then there is Serosh. We clearly see their face and they were obviously a Lion... so I just assumed Maliketh was one too. Then I noticed how narrow their face was which prompted me to take a closer look. The thing that finally tipped me off that they were a wolf was their tail lol.The leonine tails, thin with a bushy tip was really obvious for the others....

https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/7nj2xx8pd0davf9yh5w93/h?rlkey=myhufywro0s8ezywq0dwx9trd&dl=0This was a troublesome monthDefinitely did not finish as much as I would have liked toThe luna drawing took twice as long because half way through I noticed a severe color scheme issue that required me to stop what I was doing and test out solutions for the color banding issue in the software I was using but also picking a color scheme that works better on the monitors the original version was not looking great onThats why the Luna recordings are split in...
Kanga standee/ sticker wip and abandoned Mik sketch
The Kanga picture was meant to be done by the end of the month but I assumed I still had a day leftNope lolIt will be done very soon, but I wont rush itId like to make a few standees/ stickers and its been suggested to me to do more full body poses instead of crops so I retooled the original sketch to be fit the full body viewAs for the Mik pic... man... I came close to having an idea but I just wasnt feeling itI spent so much time figuring out the face too ha haI may figure out a use for this in part or in hole but theres a good chance this wh...
I guess Ill try it
Always commicate your needsLike breathing for exampleThats a good oneAlso shit today is the last day of the month I wont have the Kanga picture done in time (more on that on the sketches post)
Security system acting up
Lanolin and Whisper have both been among the most requested characters for me to draw for yearsWhisper I loved right away but it took time for Lanolin to grow on meThat saidTrying not to do so many water/ bathing pics as the excuse for needless nudity lol so here have technology hijinksThey arent sure why the security system keeps popping off but so far theyve figured out that stripping calls the grabby things offGotta be quick with undressing tho or they will take matter into their owns handsTheres been trouble calibrating the system but fortu...
Getting Mamoru'd // dropbox link
I was in a feline moodI wasnt sure who I wanted to draw so I just started drawing the face until something spoke to meMae? 808? Hmm... there were several valid choices for where it was goingThen I realized how funny it would be to draw Luna with tuxedo mask stuff strewn aboutSo 90s dub pocket pussy Luna it is lolAlso oh god this was incredibly hard to colorNot only was the banding (rainbow artifacts at the edges of airbrushes) intense for these specific dark colors when I did the monitor/ phone test I realized that the drawing was just too dark...

Shanks concept sketch
Planning stages of a comic project Im going to be using to practice a looser art style but also writing/ pacingAll Ill say now is that its inspired by animal crossing lolI meant to have more by now but this month was pretty draining and I had to find some time to process bad news, draw my regularly scheduled art, and also drill myself in my weak spots and hammer out design issues to make drawing specific characters consistently easier by doing proper design notes for myselfOne thing I gotta say though is that because I dont want Ninty to end me...
Evolution
Some digivolutions are really unexpected (Gatomon into Angewomon?!?)For as many times as Ive drawn Renamon I have to say that if I had a choice of a rookie partner Id pick TerriermonThe one from Tamers was just so chill there isnt anything I dont love about themAs for the champion evolution... dont get me wrong, Gargomon is fun, but I did imagine what it would be like if Terriermon digivolved into a form with big bozangas just to see their reactionIndeed Ive wanted to draw a female Gargomon for years and this is my first pass!
Costume Idea 2
I wanted them to be something lame like a claims adjuster or somethingI literally looked up banker for the jacket at tie LOLFloating brief case... flying papers... I had a loose ideaThen I wanted to try a spooky vampire sommelier with floating wine or somethingThe eyes and teeth were burned into my mind but the rest was up for grabsI dunno manIntentionally bad ideas are hard to sell conceptually for Halloween pinups lolI had fun drawing it though!
Costume Idea 1
Mik had a few ideas for Halloween...For this one they wanted to look like a ghost of someone who died of a tragic bowling accidentLook... I said they had ideas... not that they had good ideas...Okay so the original idea was a cheeky picture with a caption where Mik is all puckered up making a joke about looking at this hole and asking if you wanted to see how deep it is with another speech bubble coming from off screen telling them to shut the fuck up (lol)so like... a spring or a cetonebecause they are deep... which makes sense to me but its a...
