I Hear His Whisper...The answer you need is found in me.The reason you’ve been heavy and overwhelmed is because you’ve been seeking the answer for your problem in multiple places. Yes, you’re looking at me and seeking me, but you’re also stuck in your head, trying to reason things out. Instead of allowing your thoughts to drag you around in vicious circles, let your spirit lead you to me.I want you to walk in singleness of heart. This means you must fix your attention on me and me alone. When all of your attention is on me, you’ll tap...

“And out of that hopeless attempt has come nearly all that we call human history—money, poverty, ambition, war, prostitution, classes, empires, slavery—the long terrible story of man trying to find something other than God which will make him happy.” ―C.S. Lewis,Mere Christianity

I Hear His Whisper...I am the glory within. The dark cloud you see on the horizon is a sign of my coming. Many will point to the cloud and fear, but you will point to the cloud and praise, for you know that I came to bring joy, blessing, and righteousness. My kingdom will expand and grow as the children of the kingdom praise me. Heaven is waiting for the echo of praise to be heard on the earth. Even as my angels find their delight in singing my praise, so you find life and true identity when your praises echo the angelic sounds. Never allow the ...

I Hear His Whisper...I will not disappoint you.I have seen your love, your desire to please me. Many times, you have chosen me above all else, and I am pleased. But you are growing weary. Don’t stop waiting on me. I will answer you. I will not disappoint you. What you call delay, I call preparation. Many times, I am at work behind the scenes, yet you cannot discern it. Just as I prepared Joseph for his season of promotion, I am also preparing you so that your destiny may be fulfilled. Never judge my works by what your eyes see, but by the prom...

Good morning! One day I wrote out some things that were really necessary for me to hear. I wrote them on a piece of paper and taped them to my mirror. As I read them, I thought that my daughter needed these so I wrote them again and taped them to her mirror. It’s been some time and she and I both still have them.Maybe you need to hear them today. From Luke 18:Keep praying and never stop or lose hope.He will pour out His Spirit upon those who cry out to Him night and day.He will not delay to answer you and give you what you ask for.God will give...

Encounter God’s Heart...Disgrace Rolled AwayJesus rolls away our disgrace with the covenant of his strong love. He washes over the pain of our past with the liquid mercy of his blood. The shame of our youth is not held against us, and the power of his love sets us free to venture into what he has for us in the great expanse of his glorious kingdom. There is now no accusing voice of condemnation against those of us who are joined in life-union with Jesus (Romans 8:1). We have been liberated from our captivity, and we are free in Christ. What a ...

I would like people to recognize in looking at my story that the person who has the most to do with what happens to you is you. It's not the environment, it's not the other people who were there trying to help you or trying to stop you. It's what you decide to do and how much effort you put behind it.Ben Carson

Encounter God’s Heart...He Sees YouThe Lord sees everything that happens with perfected vision. He is not biased, filled with wrong motives, nor is he cruel in his judgments. Because his heart is clean, he can properly interpret our every intention. How refreshing it is to know that we can trust him to weigh our thoughts, words, and actions. He is the Lord of all, who truly understands us. He deciphers our deepest meditations yet corrects with mercy and grace.Jesus doesn’t have a glass-half-empty theology. He doesn’t sit with a gavel in h...

Everything old is new again!
“Living in the midst of a world where there was a plethora of the new I attached myself to the old.”― Henry MillerThis dress has hung in my closet for decades now. My mother-in-law was so fashionable and I was the blessed inheritor of her vintage dresses. This is the month of her birth and so I thought it was most "fitting" to post a tribute to her! I miss her so much. She passed away on my birthday over 20 years ago, but she is alive in our hearts and I KNOW she must be dancing up a storm in heaven! She and my late father-in-law ...

Good morning!I’m stealing my Pastor’s outline for this message and a future video :) I don’t think he will mind. Thank you, Pastor Seth! I hold onto his outlines and then when I revisit them I always have added benefits! There is a lot of talk in the Bible about the Kingdom of God or the Kingdom of heaven.I always have stopped to think what does that mean actually? When Jesus came, the Jews thought He would come as a typical King and start squashing people. But Jesus’ Kingdom is not based on the way people think of Kings and Kingdoms. He ...
