Personal Work | Character Poll

I am going to try to run these in between wallpaper polls. Since the next one isn't until next month. Would you all be so kind as to lend me your voting power to choose a personal character to work on?As for the last poll... it was for my girls. I do have a piece of Chai from last time in the works -- I just had some trouble and have had to restart it a couple of times (if at first you don't succeed). She's not a character I use often so finding her "spark" was difficult, but I think I finally nailed it so look forward to th...

February Wallpaper | Concept Sketch Set

Hello again, Cafè Cats! After watching some videos and reading about this years New Year Zodiac, I decided that I wanted to go with a lot of main things that make up this occasion. I learned that dumplings are a huge food when it comes to the festival because they look like gold ingots. Which is super adorable so I made this character who wants to help others by feeding them and making his specialty which are the dumplings. I feel food is such a universal language to show love, so that is why he is putting all of his in the dishes he makes!What...

February 2021 | Wallpaper Poll

Hey there Cafè Cats!I hope that everyone had a safe, happy holiday and I am wishing all of you a very prosperous 2021! With that said... as some of you know, the Chinese Lunar New Year is in February. Specifically February 11th to the 17th. And you may also know that I am not Chinese. However, I absolutely adore the festivities, culture, history and lore behind it.This year is year of the Ox. And for the last two years I have done a wallpaper for Chinese New Year -- or around that time since I am normally late (I have a schedule that does not ...

December Wallpaper | Concept Sketch Set

You all wanted a Peary Caribou, you got it. Meet Belle~ A very sassy secretary Caribou who has very little time for your nonsense. She runs a tight schedule and you better not be off by even 30 minutes or else!I honestly had a lot of fun with this and going forward I would really like to do a bit more of this coming up with personalities and what not when I design the monthly wallpaper stuff.Silver's favorite part of Belle is her little chub and mine is her little pom-pom pen. What about you: what sticks out most about Belle to you?

Personal Work | Character Poll

Last poll was Silver's characters, the boys, so this time around lets do my characters but the girls. As I'm sure you've guessed, I am lazy. So all of the images that I show will have been pulled straight from one of my galleries for these as well. Its probably going to be a running theme since a lot of the time I don't want to dig through all my files to find the one I'm looking for. Which is why most of my references are posted up somewhere I can quickly grab.Chai | Tea DeerMae | White TigerMalice | HuskyVivian Valentine |...

November Wallpaper | Concept Sketch Set

Hear me out, Cafè Cats.I thought Autumn stuff, right? But then I saw how close the Gray Wolf and Dormouse were in the poll and I had an idea. Forgive me for pulling a switcharoo, but I honestly could not shake this idea once I had it.What if that battle hardened gray wolf had a heart made of solid gold?I really hope that you all aren't too disappointed with the switch in idea and are just as excited as I am about this one!

Announcement: Changes to this Patreon in 2021

Hey Cafè Cats,I have an announcement that I would like to make. I know that I’ve been a little bit off this month and, as always, it's due in part to the fact that I’ve been chewing this over for a while now. I have a difficult time articulating my feelings and so I tend to think too long and too hard on things. I don’t like to rock the boat, which often leads me down the road of being too stressed out or even burnt out. In the long run, I end up keeping my mouth shut and slip quietly away even if speaking up would help me in the lon...

October 2020 Wallpaper

I think she's gonna be set for quite some time, don't you think?Happy Halloween, everyone!I hope that you all have a safe and enjoyable one.

October 2020 Timelapse

Spooky story time with me and Silver! We have a lot of weird things that happen, but this was one of the biggest ones between the two of us. And one small one too. What about you: Do you believe in the paranormal? If you do, do you have a spooky story that you'd like to share? We'd love to hear it!Cheers, Cafè Cats!

Café Doodles | October 2020

Did some stuff and things! Lets see, there's the print for Catfeine Junky print for September that I have still not gotten to send out because I'm waiting for the damn shipping supplies (still -- We're going on a month or so now of waiting). I am looking forward to sending those out but its looking like it'll be like the last run of prints here I send them together at this rate. Then we have Theron and his brother Gaelan or... not. Looks like a little monster with a bad attitude has taken over instead. There is the experiment that...

October Wallpaper | Concept Sketch Set

To be honest, I could go a lot of ways with this one, Cafè Cats~I'm leaning more toward the first scene concept and the last one, thought the knitting one is certainly cute as well. As for concepts, we all know which one is my favorite by now, don't we?What do you guys think? Which combination of design and scene most interests you?

Personal Work | Character Poll

Last poll's piece went exceedingly well and I'm extremely happy that I was able to do something nice for poor neglected Silas. It makes me really happy when I'm able to work on stuff for characters that I don't normally have time to draw. ;w;This month will once again be a single and will also be just boys.Since I like taking turns with my darling demon baker / assistant / wife, it will be Silver's characters. Much like last month, it will be a mixture of furry and nonfurry choices since I couldn't decide again.(I also p...

September 2020 Timelapse

Another month, another wallpaper done, Cafè Cats! This time around I decided to share with you all a story that was my favorite when I was a kid. I hope that you enjoy the video!

Café Doodles | September 2020

Behold. The doodles for September.I hope that all of you that voted for Silas in the last poll enjoy what I came up with for his piece.

September 2020 Commission Slots

Hello Cafè Cats!Welcome to the openings for my standard commission slot openings for September 2020.I am not opening these up to the public this time around and this month I am only offering two to four slots. Once those are filled, I won't be opening up again until probably March of next year. I'm pretty well settled on the whole idea of skipping December this year just because I tend to have a lot of stuff to do and not enough time to do it all in. So if you were looking to pick up a winter holiday regular commission as a gift for so...

September Wallpaper | Concept Sketch Set

Cafè Cats! Cafè Cats!!I had an idea the moment this won the poll. I didn't make a character design due to the fact that I just wanted to mostly focus on the back of the moth since it's the most important part of it.I wanted to do a spooky theme based off the Ferryman. The concept does not have the true colors just wanted everyone to see the shapes and what was going in the piece because as a sketch is was a bit hard to see.I'm really looking forward to rendering this one out and I really hope that you're all as excited as I am ...

August 2020 Timelapse

Hello again, Cafè Cats! Here is the timelapse for August! I know that I've said before that horses are not really my strong suit and I will continue to say it until such a time as I am more confident in my abilities, but hot damn! I'm actually really proud of how this turned out. I hope you all can see the care I put into crafting this piece and enjoy it as much as I enjoyed working on it!Cheers, cool cats!
