This is for the Patreon thank you image for August 2021 that will be posted in an hour! This concept was suggested by AnimalKingdomWolf, although I tweaked his idea a bit to fit the format (and Ryan's personality) a little better. Ryan doesn't like school much. xpRyan is canonically in his early 20s, so he's either going to college/university here, or this depicts years ago when he was still a senior in high school.Both black and blue versions provided! I draw in blue usually, but I turn these sketches black for the thank you image.

My freelance project is finally done! Phew. I managed to beat the deadline with about 15 hours to spare. I guess my time management skills are on point, haha.I'm pretty burned out so I'm going to take it easy for a bit, but expect the return of brand new artwork again! I'm excited to get back to my normal routine, but with some changes. I want a better work-life balance going forward, so I'll be spending less time on commissions, but in it's place, that'll open up the door for me to work on my own ideas more, and pursue ...

Oh my goodness, what's this... new artwork?!This was suggested by Jonathan McDevitt for my August Patreon thank you image! He suggested "Irwin cracking a cold one on a hot day! This year was BRUTAL" which I 100% agreed with. xD However, the pose came out too nicely for me to keep it as a half-body bust, so I decided to make it a full sketch instead. I'll do something else for the thank you image. :3

I have nine days left before the deadline, whereby I still need to:- Sketch one illustration- Ink eight illustrations- Flat color eleven illustrationsI'm completing four "units" per day, which would mean I'd be done sometime this weekend. I even scheduled this to be posted at the exact minute I posted this in 2015, haha.I'm surprised how well this still holds up. Maybe it's because of the crosshatching? Before I got into furry stuff I did crosshatched portraits of animals and vehicles, so I got really good at that sort of style early on. Maybe that's why, haha.
