January Jorts Enthusiast Stream - making a HIGH INTENSITY BIKING video
Howdy folks! It's time for the first official livestream. Tonight, I'm gonna show you my process of making a silly, green screen heavy video for my Twitch channel. I truly do not know exactly what I'm gonna do for this, so who knows where it's going to go.You can watch using the video link above, and we'll get started at 6 p.m. EST!(Also, I think this goes without saying, but please don't share the link around! I'd like to keep this to just you patrons, but I also figured using YouTube unlisted links would be the eas...
hair songs (and sound effects)
HEYOFor a video that originally was just going to use a bunch of stock music to help fill out the background, I sure did make a lot of tiny songs and fancy noises for it.One of the big difficulties of going indie is no longer having a HUGE selection of stock music at my disposal. But I also had more time to just make tiny songs for specific jokes, which is so nice! I had a ton of fun pausing while editing this video to make a song like "Intense Stinger," which is something I haven't been able to do in a long time. Hopefully, I can s...
my hair: DELETED SCENES
Uh oh, I thought I'd have just a few clips to post after this hair video, but it ended up being 8 minutes long.I've decided to upload all behind-the-scenes/deleted scenes videos to Vimeo so I can pop a password over to my patrons instead of forcing you all to download multiple gigs worth of videos!WATCH HEREpassword: mulletlifeI'll say that this video gave me flashbacks to this ancient livestream from the beginning of my video-making days. It's been a while since I've cut my own hair or had a roommate cut it, and it's in...
first livestream! (and a poll about time preferences)
Hello Jorts Enthusiasts,I've been saying thank you a lot recently, but let me say it again. Your support is truly unbelievable, and I'm so grateful that y'all care enough about my work to want to be mentioned in the end of the videos. Thank you.Speaking of your names at the end of the videos, here's the current plan for the credits:Even with two columns, the scroll will probably be ~40 seconds (again, thank you all), so I'll probably fill the first 20 seconds with extra footage before the endslate pops up!But that's not ...
First Big Music Dump
Happy New Year! Since this is the first post for music downloads, I've had to dig back and try to find ALL of my stuff from the videos I've posted up to now.A little note: This is all music I've produced by myself or has been published on my Bandcamp, so it doesn't include stuff I made at Polygon (because that's Vox Media property) or the stuff I made in collaboration with others (like Let's Make a Music songs, or the backing track for "Earn $20k", since those are all made by Jonah Scott)! The other thing is that...
Hello and welcome
Hey there. This is my Patreon. It's happening for real now. It's a bit strange to be fully indie again after a few years of a steady job, but if there's one thing I know about myself, it's that I sure love to be unemployed.Sorry, "self-employed" is the term I'm using now when I talk to my mom or relatives. It sounds entrepreneurial and like I definitely know what I'm doing. It's been just over two hours since I announced that I was going indie, and I'm really overwhelmed with the amount of people who have a...
