Concepts, Sketchbooks, Diners and Space...
Hey Everyone! As you've probably guessed, I do A LOT of drawing in my sketchbooks. Since I was a kid, it's always been one of the best ways for me to unwind. I found some random sketches tonight in some old sketchbooks and I thought I'd share them with you.The drawing above is a quick concept sketch of the Nufonia Must Fall Live stage.Below is a version of a moving "puppet-able" wall for one of the sets. With this design we can pull the whole room into the frame to create a slick transition into the scene. We didn't end u...

EPs, Signs, Lights
Hey Everyone!Been working on the cover images for the 4 Creatures EPs which we will begin to roll out in the coming months. Each EP has an A side "single" so each cover will showcase the title of that track on various trapezoidal billboards that we will photographed for the final image. When they're finished they will be used as the digital covers for those songs on the streaming platforms etc.I drew a quick sketch of the billboard shapes as a first step. Then Corinne built them in 3D using cardboard and wood, then covered them with...

Behind The Scenes Creatures Photo shoot! DAY 1!
Hey Everyone! We finished our first photoshoot day in the cardboard studio in preparation for the release of the Creatures of the Late Afternoon album!I built this control room, console, monitor speakers out of cardboard. The last element to add was a microphone, so I built a cardboard ribbon mic styled after the old RCA mics of yesteryear. Corinne added some LED lights underneath the VU meters so they light up like they would on a real old school console! All the faders, knobs and VU meters slide, turn and swing. So essentially, this thing is a...
