Issue 36 Preview

Hello Fellow Red DragonsI just wanted to share a preview of Issue 36of d12 Monthly, which is the final of my exclusive OSE issues. This one is all about warriors and rogues in OSE. It will contain articles on Tricks (actions any hero can take with good and bad consequences), new Kits for fighters and rogues, new multiclassing ideas, and new armour & weapons to add to OSE (which ...

Changes to Tiers

Hi Fellow Rust MonstersAs mentioned a couple of times before, I am re-jigging the tiers here starting in one week's time. On April 23 I will create two new tiers.First ChangeThe first is a replacement for the current D12 Tier for Non-Australian Members. The current tier will be still available to all who are currently on it, but from April 23 I will "grandfather" this tier so no new Members can join it.Instead, I have a new D12 Tier which will send the physical copies of 3 zine issues every 3 months(starting with the issue coming ou...

More Gods! By David - A Patron

My game is an odd blend of Superhero, Fantasy, & Sci-fi, so this will work best in an Eberron like setting where technology is more advanced. Recently a triumvirate of new gods appeared and are competing with the gods of old (which tend be more nature related). These new upstart gods have also recently formed nine muses to carry out their interests, as well as the memes. Editor Note:David was inspired by my Muses blog post. https://yumdm.com/web-enhancement-muses-in-dnd/The old gods aren't taking this lying down of course and are about to c...

Bonus Content: Deities of Aythia

Hello Fellow AvatarsI just thought I would post this in case anyone was interested in my own campaign world, or wanted a list of deities to use in their own home campaign. It's a one-page list of the deities in my own campaign, and a little on how they fit within the world. Terry, a fellow patron, asked me for something like this, so you can thank him for getting this to you. I am working on a much larger, more detailed PDF for the deities, which will explore the various churches for each deity and many more details. As for now, enjoy, and ...

Behind The Scenes of the Annual I

Hello Fellow DerroI'm working hard on April's issue of d12 Monthly, but I am also working on the first d12 Monthly Annual as well. He is an image of my chaotic brain writing down the layout and groupings for the articles.I decided to do it this way, rather than by issues, as I think it will flow better. Combat & Weapons8. Sorcery9. DeathAll-an...

Hello Fellow BullywugsI have changed the focus of issue 33 (due for March) from Arcanists & Divine classes for OSE, to just Arcanists (magic-users & illusionists).I did this as room ran out quick when I started to write up all the spells. And so, I will change the publishing schedule to include the divine classes (cleric and paladin) to issue 34.Hope that doesn't disappoint anyone too much. But, as always, happy gaming.RussPS. The cover for Issue 33.

March's Zine (Issue 33)

Hello Fellow HobgoblinsI am just writing this to let you know I will be busy completing the next issue of d12 Monthly over the next 7-10 days as after that I will be having some medical treatment which will probably distract me from the zine.Long-term patrons already know, but for the new peeps, I was diagnosed with cancer about 3 years ago, and while it has been under control for the last couple of years, I now have to have radiation treatment in a couple of places. It's pretty straight forward and the outcomes are usually pretty good, but ...

Short Stories

It was part one of a two part story (the second part comes out in Feb's issue). It was submitted by Scout Prior (who also has a Patreon if you like stories with meaning). My question to you is: do you like short stories in the zine? I know they were popular back in the day with Dragon Magazine readers, but just wondering if they hold the same popularity for d12 Monthly. Thanks!Russ
