In progress
So I had the dumbest idea for a quick video. Twitter has run out of juice, and only one billionaire can save it.I'm tryna bust this one asap before returning to regular Nox programming. Here's a few in progress pics
Video Vault: Hey bro
Thinkin of all the lonely homies on this dreary friday night in cyberspace.Peace everyone.
Wallpaper 09 - cyBuds
Here's last month's wallpaper, thanks for waiting guys. I got a few variations of this one. It's just our wholesome boy Nox throwing back a couple darts with his most loyal pal cyBuddy. Full resolution image and uncropped mobile version is attached Below is a recommended crop for your mobile lock screen
Video Vault: Your A.I. Homie (Pre-FX)
Here's the raw video file I use before applying the VFX. By this stage, I've already edited and tweaked the timing of the footage. Despite it looking so raw, by this stage of the process, 90% of the headaches are resolved, and it's usually all smooth sailing from there.I constructed a pseudo-3D head rig for cyBuddy, which didn't get used, unfortunately. Maybe for a future video.
Video Vault: Your A.I. homie (Animatic and Comparison)
Here's the animatic and comparison for my latest video 'Chilling with your A.I. homie'. It just dropped. Go check it out first if you haven't seen it!This is part 1. I'll have the second part next week.--------For everyone on this tier: I'm not gonna be able to get your wallpaper to you before the end of the month. It's comin', it's just gonna be late. I really over-extended on this one. Anyone can feel free to hit me up in private (or just hit me) and I'll refund you your month if you'd like. Thanks f...
New video teaser
Hey guys, here's a clip from my new video. It's kind of a sentimental one. Nox wants to be an early 2000s flash animator. It's getting close now, hang tight guys!
Video Vault: Nox Radio (Creative Process)
Doing something a little different this month. Kick back and chill to a little Nox radio.Kind of an experiment, that may evolve into something else in the future. Whaddya think?
Wallpaper 08 - Holobro hangout
Nox consuming some engaging content with his loyal bro cyBuddy.- Full resolution image attached
Big day at the office
Wowee I'm knackered. It's been a big day at the office. Here's some shots I'm workin on. What are you peeps up to?
The Nox rig
Check it out. I just completed a filming rig. Most of that janky stuff you see from my previous posts now fits neatly on a single tripod mount. It's a dream. What you see here is dual UV led lights for illumination. A monitor for watching my performance live. A battery to power it all and various Smallrig components. All of the Nox vids up until about a year or so ago were filmed on my phone with these screw on Moment lenses. I got so much out of these little doodads. This week everything has been re-jigged and rigged , and all pro gear is sta...
Wallpaper 07 - Lens of Cringe
Forget your troubles, just look through the lens of cringe. Full resolution image and uncropped mobile version is attached Below is a recommended crop for your mobile lock screen

Video Vault: Cringe Detective (VFX Breakdown)
Here ya go homies. This month's video is a VFX Breakdown for Cringe Detective.
Cringe Detective Wrap up
Thanks for watching The Cringe Detective everyone. I'm finishing up the VFX Breakdown video and will be going right onto the next one. Here's some screengrabs from the Breakdown video.Typically I have two style of video, this one was a 'white wall' project. It's reassuring to have a format that can be filmed just with a wall and a couple lights: A Life Without Facebook, the PewdiePie video, all of the Court of Public Opinion videos. The setup is so minimal it provides a lot of flexibility for angles and acting. And here's ...
New Video out Now! - The Cringe Detective
The new video just dropped! As usual, I won't post the link here since it harms the click through rate. Kinda lame hey. So go boost my algorithmic ranking and check it out on youtube! This one got delayed a bit, coz I had to reshoot a line change at the last minute. Yeah, it was little too edgy, not enough funny. Swapping it out with a close-up of an angry yelling vomit mouth seemed like a nice, happy medium. After a long shoot, the lighting and performance tends to deteriorate. Things get moved around, cables twisted and something falls over....
Planet Nox #06: CHANGE
Sup everyone. Things are changin’ around here. I’m transitioning to punchier, more frequent feed posts, which you guys seem to prefer. I’ve got new plans for Planet Nox, but it’ll now be once every few months, so I have a better selection of content to package up. Just refocussing this reward tier and removing some barriers to get the content to you more easily. So this month is gonna be a quick one.As far as main video content goes, I’m out of the woods, and Nox is back on the core mission. Here’s something from the upcoming video....
Video Vault: NOX VLOG (Studio Pre-Tour)
Join Nox and friends in this world-exclusive tour of my garage.
Wallpaper 06 - The Magnifier
He remembers that embarrassing thing you did. He's on the hunt for cringiness. New video coming real soon. Full resolution image and uncropped mobile version is attached Below is a recommended crop for your mobile lock screen
Lens of Cringe
A couple screenshots for my upcoming video. Going for a more oldschool Nox, practical FX vibe. This one happens to be the very first Nox idea that I'd had, about 5 years ago. Here's some of the filming aftermath.Above: Nox POV
In Progress: Wall of Idiots
A little artwork for my upcoming Nox vid.Would ya look at these god damn silly idiots? Lets cringe at these fools.
Planet Nox #05: Early Nox
So it’s the first Planet Nox of 2023. Happy new year everyone. In case ya missed it, I did a lil comic which you can check out here.I’m working on something else for next month. I know many of you are here to support releases on the main channel. Thanks for sticking around during this slow period. Moving has been complicated, and I’m dying to get back to it as soon as the new studio is set up. I’m feelin’ just about ready to pull the trigger on some more expansive Nox stuff that’s been in the works for a long time. A little longer g...
Wallpaper 05 - The Chosen One
And so the prophecy foretold: that one would rise up, and defeat our digital overlords -- after he finds a spacious rental property with convenient access to public transport. Full resolution image and uncropped mobile version is attached Below is a recommended crop for your mobile lock screen
Video Vault: Authenticity (Unreleased Video)
Here's an unreleased video from the archives. Made in 2019, the before time, when Nox was barely 16 months old. He was so innocent back then.I never finished this one, but the look became the set for 'Back from the Dead'. I was experimenting with something more interactive for Twitter, and the idea eventually evolved into Free Nut.I kinda miss the more crushed and Lofi look of early Nox, I think I wanna revisit it sometime.
Planet Nox #04: Making 'Save Us Elon'
I hope you all had a great Christmas. I’ve been taking a long needed break, and its been nice switching off. This month I released my first big video since the Patreon launch, which is also the first big VFX project since getting a compositing guy onboard. It all went very smoothly, despite the fact that I got covid and had to take 5 days off a week before release. I can’t tell ya what a difference it’s made having the resources to get someone helping out full time.Check out this quote from Elon, that hit my newsfeed just hours before rele...
Wallpaper 04 - CreepyNOX
Get in the festive spirit this Christmas with a lovely new Nox wallpaper. He's looking a little mysterious in this one. I wonder what he's thinking? Something festive no doubt. Full resolution image and uncropped mobile version is attached Below is a recommended crop for your mobile lock screen
Video Vault: SAVE US ELON (Animatic Comparison)
I've just launched my new video 'SAVE US ELON'. Go check that out first if you haven't already! Here'a side by side of the animatic and the finished version. I don't often do animatics in color, but felt I needed to for this one. Just to be clear with the various alternating timelines.Hope you enjoy!
