Unfilmable 78: Se7en
This movie was so influential it's easy to watch it and think "I've seen this before!" But take yourself back to 1995 when this genre standard burst onto the scene. Se7en is still every bit as dark and affecting as we remember. The sequel, Ei8ht, on the other hand? That one has aged very poorly.

Don't choke me out; I never eat meatballs.
Abject Suffering 618: Arachnophobia
Arachnophobia is now mostly forgotten, but it was once a beloved one-off horror comedy movie about extremely virile spiders overtaking a small town. Then they made a game out of it, and it was very boring! So we talk about Brian Wilson’s obsession with “Short’nin’ Bread” instead.

Best Quality Vacuum 67: El Camino
This is the road that takes Jesse Pinkman far, far away from this whole mess. The 63rd episode of Breaking Bad, presented as a feature presentation. El Camino is different from the main series, but only in so much it was built as an epilogue movie from the ground up. This is a character study, and isn't as much concerned with moving the plot forward as much as some Breaking Bad fans would have hoped it would be. We quite like it, though. We would like to thank Gwen Static for composing our theme song, and Trent Peters for creating our great...

Some sad news
Hey everyone, Gary hereI wish I was writing under different circumstances. Early this morning, Jeremy Greer passed away. I think most of you know that he's been battling cancer for a while now, and a few weeks ago, it started worsening quickly. Though he wasn't responsive, today I had plans to call and say my farewells and I missed it by just a few hours.I'm still in shock. Me and Jeremy were really close. We texted most days. If Kaye is family (she is), Jeremy is the closest friend I've met through this job. It's crazy to t...
