Extra Bits - Keep On Running

Here's the silhouette pose from yesterday. Can you spot the mistake I made when shooting this panel? My right arm should be forward and my left arm backwards, in opposite positions to my legs. No normal human being runs like this :)By the time I spotted my error, I'd packed up my lights and wiped off my make-up. I'm hoping that this ended up as a 'happy little mistake' as turning it into a silhouette in the finished comic, added to the shadowy vibe I was going for. I hope you agree :)Tots x

Hello there,I'd originally planned to bring back Dotty from this year's April Fools prank for this comic, but unfortunately 'Flora Spilo' wasn't able to shoot it - we live 250 miles apart, so it's a bit difficult to get together. Luckily, Dorothy stepped in to help out. What a great friend... or is she? Hello there,I've been looking back through my old files this week, and I stumbled across this unused single panel comic. I drew this earlier in the year when I wasn't feeling well - ironically! I think it probably reflected my mood at the time, but it also enabled me to make a quick comic without a photoshoot. In the end, I didn't use it - but for the sake of completion, I thought I'd post it here as a little bonus Saturday Single. You'll just have to imagine me under the panel :)Totty x

I toyed with the idea of changing my expression with each crazy hair-do, but ended up sticking to the 'not-impressed-face' as I felt it was funnier. The hairdresser certainly had the last laugh - perhaps I should have been more open to his creativity :)Tots x

I had such a giggle styling my hair in this comic - I only wish that hair-styling could be this much fun and creative in real life.I shot this comic the day after my real life haircut disaster. When posing, I was certainly channeling my distaste for my own hair and I was seriously considering the advantages of shaving my mop off :)Tots x

Hello there,I recently had my hair cut and it turned out much shorter than I planned - now I look like some kind of spaniel. Extra Bits - too much tartan

I recently bought these tartan leggings to wear for a specific comic, but after shooting a few poses, I've had to change my plans. The pattern is just far too distracting and the red is so vibrant, it almost gives you a headache. The look just don't work for me, so they'll be staying in my wardrobe for the forseeable future.Maybe I should unstitch them and make a picnic blanket :)Tots x

Hello there,I mentioned in a recent post that I wanted to add more pin-up content to the comic strips, so in my latest comic I included a pose of me pulling on my new dress. This proved to be quite a challenge! My head kept getting stuck and most of the photos looked like something out of a horror movie, with my ghostly face appearing through the thin material.
