Naruto: Amongst the Whirling Tides Chapter 20
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Pretty slow chapter, but new ideas kept cropping up and it ran away from me.Chapter 20Naruto continued to question Hagoromo, mostly about how to use the Sakusei Burashi, but the sage soon reminded him that their time together was limited. This gave Naruto the idea to use the brush to keep the sage around for as long as possible. Hagoromo was a legend and a wealth of knowledge that Naruto could tap into for many years."I don’t want to stick around," Hagoromo said, his form becoming more transparent as ...
Pokemon: Resurgence Chapter 23
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Lucas takes the exam, and searches for a partner for Icarus.Chapter 23A week later, Lucas hired a carriage to take him to Viridian City for the Pokemon Breeder's exam. He had left early to arrive at the Pokemon School with enough time to spare before the start time. If he arrived late, he would have to reschedule and would only be reimbursed for half of his exam fee.Professor Oak had told him about the exam's content. The first component would be a written exam worth seventy percent of the overall grade...
Harry Potter: The Artisan's Path Chapter 52
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. It’s an early release today, as I am working the late shift.Chapter 5228th JuneDespite it being summer, the sky was overcast and there was a threat of rain on the cards. This weather could potentially affect the completion of the work today. Despite the gloomy weather, Harry was in a good mood.As he strolled around his workshop, he assessed the current progress made in painting the exterior of the building. Even in the event of rain, their progress wouldn't suffer greatly. They had a system in place where...
Naruto: Amongst the Whirling Tides Chapter 19
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Naruto learns a major secret that the Uzumaki clan has been hiding.Chapter 19"Will you please stop whining? I’m getting a headache," Naruto said, tapping Minato on the forehead."This is extremely uncomfortable," Minato complained, his voice muffled. He was on the ground, his entire body wrapped in bandages like a mummy."Can you even feel pain like normal people? Suck it up."Sai stood to the side and watched their antics. "You seem to enjoy restraining people. Are you really this ty...
Pokemon: Resurgence Chapter 22
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. It's a bit slow, but it lays the groundwork for some future developments.Chapter 22Lucas arrived at the police station early the next morning. After several hours of deliberation, he devised a strategy to catch the priest in the act. He just hoped he wasn’t making a mistake by including the police in his plan. If the church had spies in the station, his plan would be doomed from the start. He did, however, ask Delia about the relationship between the police and the church, which was neutral at best. Offic...
Harry Potter: The Artisan's Path Chapter 51
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Harry completes his task, and heads to Gabrielle’s house to hand the item over to the unicorns.Chapter 51When Harry touched the vines, he felt a pulsating sensation beneath his fingertips, as if the vines had a heartbeat. The pulsating accelerated in response to his touch, beating rapidly against his palm. Withdrawing his hand from the vine, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a knife. He slashed his palm and hissed in pain. Blood immediately welled up, and he pressed his palm against the vines.Entering...
Naruto: Amongst the Whirling Tides Chapter 18
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Naruto encounters a big fish and another redhead.Chapter 18Three days earlier. The waves crashed against the rugged outcrop, drenching the group in a mist of salty sea spray.A group of Genin had gathered for an important lesson. Naruto stood with Hinata and his other friends as they waited for their teacher to speak.Mei surveyed the Genin, her gaze shifting from one to the next. "You are all here because you agreed to participate in the pirate missions, which will be available soon. But before you embark on ...
Pokemon Resurgence: Chapter 21
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. The Naruto chapter will be arriving a day late, as I am still playing catch-up. Apologies for the delay.Chapter 21Meowth jumped off his shoulder and ran off to explore the lab. He hoped the little thief didn’t get into any mischief and put his job in jeopardy.“Is that another Pokemon you obtained while you were in the city?" Sabrina said from beside him.“That’s right.”"You seem wary of Giovanni."Lucas grimaced. "Am I that obvious?""Not at all. But I have been staring at you sin...
Harry Potter: The Artisan's Path Chapter 50
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Uh, I have been working fourteen-hour shifts for the last four days, but at least there is only one day to go. Sorry for the delay, but here it is, finally. I can't really guarantee the quality, as I haven’t had much time to edit. The second chapter will also come tomorrow instead of today as a result of the late schedule.Chapter 50Tension filled the air in his grandmother's quarters. After leading Harry into their quarters, his grandparents had him recount the entire story. He proceeded to explain the...
Naruto: Amongst the Whirling Tide Chapter 17
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. The battle in the Suna village continues, and Naruto heads out on a mission to hunt some pirates.Chapter 17A multitude of Konoha Shinobi rushed down the mountain and into the village, resembling a crashing wave on the shore. Meanwhile, small groups of Suna Shinobi launched long-range attacks in an attempt to take advantage of their descent. Former Hokages led the charge, expertly utilising the mountain as a protective barrier for their comrades. Massive rock pillars erupted from the mountain, intercepting the i...
Poll for next week's chapters
Hi all,Here's the poll for next week's chapters. Harry Potter: The Gamer's Dimension will return in a month's time, and I will post the first five chapters. It is taking me longer than I would like but is a lot different from before. I think it's a better story than the previous iteration imho.
Pokemon: Resurgence Chapter 20
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. It focuses heavily on Pokemon battles.Chapter 20Giovanni's sharp gaze bore into Lucas, and the noise of the bustling crowd seemed to fade away, swallowed by the palpable tension that hung in the air between them. The presence of others served only as a thin veil, separating him from an underlying danger that seemed to emanate directly from Giovanni himself."My name is Lucas," he said, introducing himself. "It is an honour to meet the Viridian City gym leader."Giovanni's mouth curled. “...
Harry Potter: The Artisan's Path Chapter 49
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Harry enters the enemy's lair and comes across another familiar snake, but this one might just be friendly.Chapter 49The Forbidden Forest at night presented numerous dangers, one of which stood in a clearing before him.Sirius had shown Harry a photograph of Peter Pettigrew so that he could recognise him if he ever met him. Peter looked even more unappealing than his photo showed, as he had developed even more rat-like features over time. Was this the result of his animagus form? Similar to how a metamorphos...
Naruto: Amongst the Whirling Tides Chapter 16
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Minato has escaped, and Konoha is finally launching an attack on Suna.Chapter 16Minato Namikaze appeared on the training grounds in a flash. He immediately checked his surroundings to ensure that he was alone. It was unlikely that his old training grounds would be monitored, so he had some time to plan his next move. He instinctively chose this location to flash to after breaking free of the jutsu. He had seeded the entire village and surrounding area with his seals, allowing him to instantly travel to any part...
Pokemon: Resurgence Chapter 19
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. I am posting it early as I won't be home tonight.Chapter 19“You can talk!” Lucas could hardly believe what he was witnessing.Meowth bowed his head. “Thank you for stating the obvious. Yes, I can speak, unlike the other Meowths out there."Lucas knelt to get a closer look at Meowth. Although it may appear absurd, there is precedent for the existence of a talking Meowth, at least in the anime. Because the Pokemon didn’t appear to be a member of Team Rocket, he had no reason to suspect him of being ...
Harry Potter: The Artisan's Path Chapter 48
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. An unusual piece of furniture piques Harry’s interest in the Room of Hidden Things, and he finally earns enough points for the Workshop Trunk.Chapter 4820th MarchHarry exited the floo into his grandmother's office with ease. He had made progress in controlling his momentum when exiting the floo, and no longer made a fool of himself. After stepping to the side, his godfather followed him out.Fawkes called out a greeting from his perch by the window. Tired of spending time in the headmaster's office, he...
Naruto: Amongst the Whirling Tides: Chapter 15
Hi all, here's the next chapter.Naruto battles the new girl, and Danzo introduces his new squad to the public.Chapter 15"I'd like to spar," Hikari said.Naruto’s head tilted. “I don’t understand.”The girl crossed her arms. “I wish to compare my strength with yours.”Was this girl for real? He had just met Hikari, but she seemed to have already formed a negative opinion of him. Even though he was indifferent to it, given that he had grown accustomed to people disliking him, they at least had some justification, no matte...

Pokemon: Resurgence Chapter 18
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Lucas explores the mine and visits a black market, where he encounters another familiar character.Chapter 18Lucas browsed through Paul’s journal, hoping it would reveal the location of the mine. One entry in particular piqued his interest, as it described Paul's unpleasant experience at the black market. He had inadvertently given a vendor some information about the mine, though it was not overt. The vendor appeared suspicious, as he asked a few probing questions, prompting Paul to leave the market quickly...
Harry Potter: The Artisan's Path Chapter 47
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. I have finally added my current stories to the collections tab to make it easier to find chapters. The collections tab is at the top of the page.Chapter 47After crafting the new bo-staff, Harry took a few practice swings to ensure that he had the right length. He had gone through a growth spurt in the last few months, so his old staff no longer suited him. It was important to find a length that matched his height if he wanted to execute some techniques correctly. He didn’t find any issues with the staff, so h...
Poll for next week's chapters.
Hi all,Here's the poll for next week's chapters. It's late as I forgot all about posting it. 🤔
Island King Chapter 3
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter of my original story. Myles continues to experiment with the System, and he faces a crisis when something slithers onto the island.Chapter 3Myles hung another can of salt water over the fire in order to produce more fresh water. The previous batch had taken approximately forty minutes to evaporate, so he had to monitor it carefully to maximise his water yield. It would also help him obtain the skill that he learned from it. After examining it in further detail, he was eager to acquire it as soon as possible.====...
Pokemon: Resurgence Chapter 17
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. The poll for this week’s third chapter was a tie between Naruto and my original story. I decided to go with my original story to give it some attention.Chapter 17Lucas' body pumped with adrenaline as he noticed the numerous Spinarak suspended above him. He dodged to the side as they shot long strings of webs at him, but he could not get out completely, and one leg became entangled. After he tripped and fell, the Spinaraks slowly lifted him into the air, suspending him upside down and cocooning him in more...
Harry Potter: The Artisan's Path Chapter 46
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Headmaster Flitwick pulls a surprise move on the Board of Governors, and Harry returns his attention to making his Artifact.Chapter 46Harry watched the Runic Knights as they exited the castle, making their way towards the Forbidden Forest. He didn’t envy their task, as locating Quirrell and Pettigrew in such an expansive forest seemed akin to searching for a needle in a haystack. Furthermore, there were a lot of perilous creatures residing inside its depths, with the Acromantula being a clear example. Would t...
Naruto: Amongst the Whirling Tides Chapter 14
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. This one is slightly shorter as I couldn’t find a good way to finish the chapter, but it’s only by a small amount.Chapter 14Mei Terumi was a beautiful woman, but she came with thorns. Naruto saw a resemblance between her and Tsunade. Both had a strong, self-reliant aura and refused to tolerate any grief from anyone. Based on the information from her entry in the Bingo Book, she was truly an amazing kunoichi. Not only was she proficient in four elemental transformations, but she also possessed two powerful k...
