Pokemon: Resurgence Chapter 71
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Lucas deals with the emergency and revisits the auction house.Chapter 71Saphira swooped low, her scales glinting in the volcanic glow. Lucas pressed against her back as ash rained down, coating his barrier in grey powder. Moltres soared overhead, its wings painting the smoke-filled sky with streaks of fire."Down there," Lucas pointed.“Why are we going down?” Meowth protested. “Let’s get out of here!”“There are people in danger.”“Like I care! Nobody is more important than me, Meowth.”Lu...
World of Tamers: Chapter 1
Hi all,Here’s a new original story idea, a change-up from the usual schedule. The Pokemon: Resurgence chapter will be out tomorrow.Chapter 1 - AwakeningMyles' toes gripped the slick rocks as he stalked through the tide pools, the incoming tide lapping at his ankles and cooling his skin.He adjusted his grip on the handcrafted spear, its prongs worn smooth from years of use. The weight felt right in his calloused hands—an extension of his arm rather than a tool. A school of fish darted through the shallows ahead, their silver scales catch...
The Wind Mage's Legacy: Chapter 10
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Harry selects his Quidditch team and acquires information that leads him to the Mundane’s leader.Chapter 10Harry gazed up at Tuthill Quidditch Stadium, its ancient stone walls weathered by centuries of Gloucestershire storms. A blue banner sagged above the entrance, its faded tornado and "TT" lettering barely visible against the slate-grey sky. For a professional team's logo, it looked more suited to a village pub's Sunday league side. The Tuthill Tornadoes. Of all the teams courting him, he...
Ash Ascendant: Chapter 12
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Ash has a difficult time finishing the match as Hideyoshi goes all out.Chapter 12The second round immediately commenced after Blade defeated Monferno. Hideyoshi recalled Monferno and retreated to his side of the field. He grabbed a pokeball from his belt and released Numel onto the field. The fire-type's slouched posture and half-lidded eyes projected an air of laziness that Ash instantly distrusted. Around its thick neck, an orange pendant pulsed with barely contained energy, each throb sending ripples of h...
The Mage's Path: Chapter 16
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Harry meets Fleur and travels to his island to explore its secrets.Chapter 16Harry surveyed the Delacours' potion room with appreciation. Unlike his makeshift setup in his tent, this was a proper brewing space. Crystal-clear windows lined the upper walls, providing natural light while keeping fumes from stagnating. Rows of ingredients in meticulously labelled glass jars lined the oak shelves, and a professional-grade stone workbench dominated the centre of the room. After exploring more of France the past fe...
Harry Potter: The Artisan's Path Chapter 91
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Finally got this one out. From now on, the chapters will be more consistent now that my niece and nephew are settled in.Chapter 91Harry tensed as someone approached his bed. As they passed by the window with the moonlight streaming in, Harry recognised Lockhart's face, but something was wrong. The professor's usual theatrical demeanour had vanished, replaced by an eerie stillness.Nagini, who had been coiled beside Harry's bed as usual, raised her massive head. Her scales rasped against the stone flo...
Pokemon: Resurgence Chapter 70
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Ashe evolves and Sabrina regains her memories of the night her parents were murdered.Chapter 70Heat pressed down as Lucas picked his way across the rocky plateau. Sweat dampened his shirt, and his boots scraped against weathered stone. The mountain dominated Cinnabar's skyline, its weathered flanks rising in stark tiers of grey and rust-coloured stone. Up close, the sheer scale of it stole Lucas's breath. The sun-baked rocks radiated heat waves that were far more intense than the coastal temperatures bel...
The Wind Mage's Legacy: Chapter 9
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Harry has to deal with the aftermath as his heroics are exposed to the world.Chapter 9The Boeing 747's massive frame shuddered violently beneath Harry's wind barrier. Hydraulic fluid leaked from the mangled left wing in a fine mist, the metal framework exposed where the explosion had torn away chunks of the fuselage. His muscles screamed in protest as he channelled more power into keeping the 400-tonne aircraft aloft.Row after row of faces pressed against the oval windows, expressions ranging from terro...
Ash Ascendant: Chapter 11
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Sorry this is late, but I had to rewrite the chapter. The first version wasn’t that great.Chapter 11The heat assaulted them mercilessly as they approached the landfill. An orange glow pulsed from somewhere within, its intensity visible even in broad daylight and casting strange shadows against the towering piles of refuse.Ash wiped the sweat from his forehead as he led the group through a gap in the fence.Steven and Sidney followed close behind, with three other cultivators bringing up the rear. Despite the t...
The Mage's Path: Chapter 15
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. The next Ash Ascendant chapter will be out later today. Chapter 15Harry guided Gabrielle back to the main street. Gabrielle pressed closer, her earlier bravado wavering after the initial shock had worn off. They began searching for her mother, who had to be panicking right now.A flash of silvery-blonde hair caught Harry's attention through a gap in the crowd. A woman darted between shoppers, her elegant robes swishing as she spun in place. Her movements sparked with barely contained panic as she scanned fac...
Harry Potter: The Artisan's Path Chapter 90
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Another late chapter, but I promise to get two more chapters out over the weekend. So, I made a mistake with the last chapter. It was supposed to be chapter 89, but I called it chapter 88. This explains why Chapter 88 appeared twice in the collections tab.Chapter 9022nd MayHarry wanted to investigate Archibald Fawley immediately, so he used Remus and his artisan's business as an excuse to leave the school after classes on Monday. He left Remus at the Leaky Cauldron, promising to return shortly. He called for...
Pokemon: Resurgence Chapter 69
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Lucas discovers another enemy, and Bree is closing in on Malva.Chapter 69Cassidy's finger hovered over her mobile, trembling. This was one call she didn’t want to make, but she didn’t have much choice in the matter.Across the desk, Bree perched on a stack of budget reports, her porcelain face eerily still. Her button eyes reflected pinpricks of light, black and bottomless as wells."Make the call." Bree's voice sliced through the silence.Cassidy seized the whisky tumbler, ice cubes clinking a...
The Wind Mage's Legacy: Chapter 8
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Harry learns about the new Quidditch rules, and another mundane attack is launched against his friends.Chapter 8Harry returned to Grimmauld Place after meeting with Ayano. He could hardly believe that he had invited her to dinner. Their acquaintance was still fresh, and the house was still a mess. Although Kreeacher had been cleaning the place, the old house elf didn’t have the energy to transform such a large place in such a short amount of time.A crash from the back garden startled him. He rushed through th...
Ash Ascendant: Chapter 10
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Ash hunts for a new Pokemon and continues his training.Chapter 10Ash sat cross-legged on his bedroom floor, the newly acquired technical reader placed before him. The device was smaller than he'd expected—about the size of his palm, with a crystal-shaped depression in its centre. Its surface was covered in intricate circuitry that glowed faintly. He pulled out the velvet pouch containing the Technical Memories. Five crystals clinked together as he emptied them onto the floor, each one pulsing with a differ...
The Mage's Path: Chapter 14
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. I noticed a huge mistake in chapter 7, where all of Harry's experience points from the completed quests appeared to vanish into thin air. I can’t believe I made such an oversight. I made a change to chapter 7 that fixes it.Harry is offered a title from the system:======The system detects the player has more than 2500 experience points stored in their cache. Do you wish to spend it to acquire the ‘Accelerated Growth’ title?Description: Accelerated Growth is a title that fundamentally alters your charac...

Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Dumbledore is up to no good, and Harry gets another visit from Lady Hogwarts.Chapter 89Gilderoy Lockhart was lounging in his office, admiring his reflection in a handheld mirror, when the fireplace suddenly flared to life. A voice called out, "Lockhart! Attend!"With a startled yelp, Lockhart scrambled to his feet, smoothing his perfectly coiffed hair. He hurried to the fireplace, kneeling before the black flames. "Eight? I wasn't expecting—"His words died in his throat as he poked his head...

The Wind Mage's Legacy: Chapter 7
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Harry learns of the terrible downside of his abilities and meets Ayano for the first time.Chapter 7Harry leaned against a charred wall, the acrid smell of smoke clinging to his clothes like a second skin. "What's this method you mentioned?""The Black Wind state," Kaze said. "One of its abilities allows you to read minds, extracting memories with brutal efficiency.”Harry's eyebrows shot up. "Like Legilimency?""No. It's far more intrusive. Imagine tearing through some...
Ash Ascendant: Chapter 9
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Ash continues to cultivate and learns more about the Tower.Chapter 9Ash approached the registration desk for the gym battle. The woman behind the counter greeted him with a polite smile."I'd like to register for a gym battle," Ash said. The woman nodded. "Certainly. Please be aware that you'll need to register a month in advance. This gives the gym leader time to prepare for the battle."Ash frowned, finding the reason suspect. He doubted many cultivators from the first floor challenged fo...
The Mage's Path: Chapter 13
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. It’s over 9000! Words, that is. Seriously, this chapter is too long and self-indulgent, but the dungeon segment is finally finished.Chapter 13The garden didn’t hold any nasty surprises. Nothing attacked them after they opened the treasure chest and found the grimoire. It marked a departure from the dungeon's norm."That was anticlimactic," Celeste sighed. "I thought we'd have to work harder for the loot.""I'm not complaining," Harry said. "Sometimes, it's nice when...

Harry Potter: The Artisan's Path Chapter 88
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. The battle concludes, followed by the aftermath.Chapter 88Fawke’s battle cry rang out across the grounds, momentarily drowning out the sounds of combat. Clinging to his tail feathers were Minerva, Sirius, and Remus, their faces set with grim determination as they took in the chaotic scene below.Harry seized the moment of distraction, his hand moving to the strap on his leg. He pulled out his bo-staff and extended it to its full length. Without hesitation, he channelled his magic through the staff, unleashing ...

Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. Lucas and Sabrina arrive in the Rota Kingdom, while Malva continues to cause trouble in Viridian City. But Bree senses there is something amiss, and is on the case.Chapter 67Cassidy drummed her fingers on the polished mahogany desk, her eyes fixed on the ornate oak door. The steady ticking of the antique clock on the wall only heightened her unease. She'd received many visitors in this office, but never one that made her pulse quicken like this. The phone call replayed in her mind. A woman's voice, makin...
The Wind Mage's Legacy: Chapter 6
Hi all,Here is the next chapter. Harry moves into Grimmauld Place, and the Mundanes escalate their attacks with one explosion.Chapter 6Harry pushed open the heavy door of Grimmauld Place and stepped inside. His footsteps were muffled by the threadbare carpet that lined the long, gloomy hallway. The house’s old-fashioned gas lamps sputtered to life along the walls, casting flickering shadows across peeling wallpaper and grimy portraits.Kaze materialised beside him. "What a dump," he sneered, eyeing a huge patch of mould on the ceiling....
Ash Ascendant: Chapter 8
Hi all,Here’s the second chapter of the day. Ash explores more of the swamp and makes a discovery that will make him a fortune.Chapter 8Ash propped the bicycle against a gnarled tree at the swamp's edge. He adjusted his backpack, heavy with supplies and a rolled-up sleeping bag. The murky expanse before him stirred unpleasant memories of his last visit, but he steeled himself. This time would be different."Right then," he muttered, "let's do this properly."He'd realised the potential of this hostile environment. Po...
Ash Ascendant: Chapter 7
Hi all,Here’s the first chapter of the day. The next one will be out in about nine to ten hours.Chapter 7Ash returned to Kurt's house. He noticed the old man's expression held a mix of curiosity and wariness, his bushy eyebrows furrowed as he regarded Ash."So, you're a cultivator," Kurt said.Ash grimaced. In his enthusiasm for the Apricorn pokeballs, he'd inadvertently revealed more than he'd intended. Maizie must have told her grandfather about their conversation."Relax, lad. If I were going to turn you in, I&...

Harry completes the wardstone and travels to the Potter manor with his grandfather, but there are some unexpected visitors.Chapter 8729th JanuaryHarry stepped back, surveying the cauldron before him with a critical eye. It was nearly complete—a birthday gift for Daphne that had consumed his attention for weeks. Instead of traditional metals, he'd chosen Fire Crab shells as the base material. The shell, almost as hard as steel, possessed unique properties that made it ideal for potion-making.The superior c...
Pokemon: Resurgence Chapter 66
Hi all,Here’s the next chapter. This one was hard to write for some reason. Still not completely happy with it, but at least it’s out.Chapter 66Lucas stood in the back garden, eyes closed in fierce concentration, focused on mastering his newest skill: Aura Projection. Beads of sweat trickled down his temples, a testament to the mental strain of manifesting a visual illusion mere feet away.A faint shimmer materialised in the air, reminiscent of heat haze on a scorching summer road. Gradually, painstakingly, it began to coalesce into a hazy h...
