Daylight Park - Good Heavens, A Dragon!, Page 2
And there we go! Officially welcoming Prince Akimoto and Lady Anastasia to the comic! We see a few important facts off the bat; namely that Anastasia is a firm protector of the prince.... And that his highness is purer than the freshly-fallen snow. Look at how he covers his eyes like that; so adorable. ^^Also glad we immediately got out the Prince's little catchphrase. It's just such a proper, wholesome exclamatory.
Lulshi Commission - Daycare Bound
Heh... You folks remember this picture from way back?https://www.deviantart.com/lance-the-young/art/Dirtybooks-Commission-Blue-Blue-Relapse-829445086Ness, Jeff, and Paula have woken up in a playpen, still garbed in blue paint from when they still had baby intelligence, but now coming up with a brilliant and dare I say practical escape plan from the Happy Happy Cultists! And the art is a lot better too! This one was a lot of fun to write and draw for me. Always love working with the Earthbound crew. In particular enjoyed Ness's gigantic hat a...
Dirtybooks Commission - Erika's Nightmare
You folks all remember Nurse Gull, right? The Nurse at Erika's school?https://www.patreon.com/posts/erika-psyching-68629253She's so impossibly embarrassing that she's managed to infest Erika's dreams. Poor kid just can't escape the sheer humiliation; nightmare has Nurse Gull showing her off to an auditorium full of students in full baby gear. That last picture we did of Nurse Gull was a big hit for Patreon; 10 likes. Curious if this'll get similar numbers. Especially since we've got another picture already in the work...
Kegends Commission - Bay Bee Vee
Heheh.. Yeah, a cute little number with Vee from Owl House regressed down to a preschooler. Nice little bit to submit for the new Owl House episode about to drop. Was a bit surprised at how cute this came out. Was just trying to get Vee looking snuggly as a four-year-old and just popped as a huggable little tot.
Daylight Park - Good Heavens, A Dragon!, Page 1
Heh, naturally for a chapter with "dragon" in the title we're opening on Kayda. ... Seeing as she was on the cover it's not exactly a surprise I'm guessing.Kind of just some cute fun calling attention to recurring trends in the comic, like just how much time has been spent in William's apartment. Kayda's last line is similar; we kind of stuck it on last minute since the page needed more of a punchline but had noticed at a point that by coincidence every scene William's been in in the main comic (albeit not in the...
Baby Stock Poses #7 (Please Comment!)
We're going with this instead of Daylight today since it's been a very stressful few days, we'll get the first page of the next Daylight chapter up on the 4th instead. Sorry for the delay. This one sat half-finished for a long while before getting wrapped up, but am pretty happy with how it came out. Actually very nearly wound up being Takeda instead of Rain for MK, kept trying to make him work for a long time on these but it kind of just wasn't coming out good enough for my tastes. We only have one more set of these mostly-done a...
TheSpiritualWalker - Puddle Jumping
This is one of those pictures that's JUST good enough to submit on its own and not in an Avalance. A lot of that is the shading. Always spring for the shading. Makes it look so much nicer.
Annakatan Commission - Little Devil
Heh. Yeah, just a simple little commission we'd been meaning to submit; this particular commissioner had asked for various DBZ names before, now we're getting a good shot at Videl. The little nod to Gohan's bear-pants... Can't remember if that was their idea or mine. Either way, like the final result.
Olivia Commission - Tavern
A spunky elf warrior comes in from the cold for a drink at the local tavern. A really simple commissions involving OCs, not much to say about it. The Tiefling bartender was drawn to resemble the boss from Catherine.
Sage1324 Commission - Darling Cuties
We meant to post this one a bit ago as our Shazam tie-in, but it kind of got sidelined so doing it now instead. ... Shame the movie hasn't been received well and is flopping but we're planning to go see it anyway.
Daylight Park - Good Heavens, A Dragon! Cover
Heh. Yeah, after all the teasing for Lady Anastasia and Prince Akimoto of late they're taking center stage along with Kayda for our next chapter. Been very much looking forward to showing off these three's dynamic together, really fond of the lot of them.
Beastbear Commission - Off To School
Sorry for not having an update yesterday, we kind of just didn't realize we hadn't gotten it.This is another commission with these two, though beyond just doing something with them we had pretty free range on it. Probably be a bit before we post more with these two but we do have at least one more picture sitting with them.
Early Bloomer Chance Time
Jumping ahead a bit but figured this would be a fun one to submit for the whole MAR10 thing they do for some reason. Kind of wouldn't mind trying to branch out into more Mario series pictures at some point.
Dirtybooks Commission - Rattle Rootle Baby Brainy
Heh... Yeah, this wraps up that little arc for Star Butterfly that was going for a bit. They've wound up not only trapped in the realm of Father Time, but Star's lost the rattle she could use to transform herself back to normal amidst a pile of rattles. Seems they're not likely to get out anytime soon. Fortunately time doesn't pass the same way in Father Time's world than other places, so they've got infinity to figure their way out.
Baby Stock Poses #6 (Please Comment!)
There might be a break from these for a bit after this set? I've had another sitting unfinished for awhile and been wanting to make the time to wrap that one up and do some more but been kind of swamped with other things for awhile. We'll see I suppose. We actually already have an in-progress picture of one of these funny enough.
Daylight Filler - Big Baby Sister
It's been a long time since we've seen Rhonda and was really glad to see her again. ^^ Was someone neat to quickly revisit here. That'll be it for the filler; next update will start the next chapter!
Preschool Champion - 1-1
Ooookay, so that Pokemon Presentation was terrible, but forget about that! To save Pokemon Day, we're finally premiering this little labor of love~Before I get into it, AS a labor of love and would really, really appreciate feedback on this one.Yeah, this has been something I've wanted to do for a long while; a long-term project involving a regressed Lance trying to deal with having been transformed into a four-year-old. A ton of thought went into this over a long period of time, and finally showing it off in full. We open with our litt...
The Yard's Finest
Heheh.. Yeah, a little something from Great Ace Attorney. Gina showing off proper London nappies to her Japanese visitors, with help from the Chief Inspector. What's it say about Ace Attorney that I'd kinda believe this is a universe where that wouldn't be just a silly nickname and the dog might actually be an acting chief police inspector? There's an additional little picture I'd like to post related to this, might get to it later. In the meantime.... Make sure you swing by on the 27th for Pokemon Day~
PLEASE HELP MY TINY BABY BOY!
Heheh... Yeah, Jason's Mom is one of those supremely-embarrassing figures. One of those things where Wotch barely did padding-related stuff but this one figure fit into it seamlessly. Just a great shot with these too. Been a while since we posted any Wotch stuff. Hope everybody enjoys~
Flip Flap Nappy Nap
When we do art of a series we're big fans of it's a pretty huge deal for us. Flip Flappers is an amazing anime you should all watch, though not sure how much demand there is for padding art of it. It's a bit of a hidden gem.I say that like it's the first time we've drawn it, it's not; but this is the first time we've drawn it while getting close to just what a.... BIZARRE experience it is to watch this show. The background is a good attempt to try and capture the freaky feeling of this series. ^_^Dialog could maybe b...
Daylight Filler- New Roles New Changes
Heheh....Yeah, simple thing to throw out randomly; just Nainika and Amelia giving Joshie a bit more humiliation. ^^Kinda all I got, really tired. Hope folks enjoy~
Confronting Anna
Heheh.. Yeah, not sure how much this'll appeal to people who haven't watched Shimoneta, but hope folks'll enjoy that extra-firm close-up in the second panel. ^^ Let's just say that Ayame tried to confront Anna and scare her into place only to find it... didn't have the effect she was hoping for.
Anonymous Commission - Xenoblade 3 Cast
Hey, more DLC's about to come out, it's timely! Two versions of this one, one I wrote the dialogue on and a later one the commissioner did. Figured might as well share it both ways, even if there are some pretty clear similarities in spots.Definitely want to do more Xenoblade 3 on our own time at some point. Especially THE GIRL WITH THE GALL and DA BUS.
Annakatan Commission - Sleepover Step-Down
Heheh... Everybody loves Tomoko, right? Well, Tomoko already has a best friend, who tragically got a lot cooler than her when she got older. So Tomoko took the liberty of turning them both into eight-year-olds for a slumber party. Can't have her BFF looking better than her, can she? There was some kind of confusion on our end on the hair; Yu is naturally a brunette but when she went to high school she started to dye it blond. The commissioner wanted it one way and we drew it the other at first then had to go back and edit it. .... Don't ...
Baby Stock Poses 5 (Please Comment!)
Might end up taking a break from doing these monthly soon-ish. Got one more sitting finished and another set mostly done but not really been a super big priority for me lately, and due to making conscious attempts to largely avoid redundancy among series and keep the boy / girl ratio even it gets harder and harder to think of fresh names for them.Definitely enjoy doing them, and we've got some stuff in the works with a handful of names from previous sheets, but might need a bit of a break from them before too long. Won't be for now thou...
Daylight Filler- Greeting The Knight
Eheh... Sorry about the wait, folks. Had a bit of trouble getting this out around our schedule. Either way, since we saw Akimoto for the last filler, thought it'd be good to see Anastasia this time; very cute bit with her being welcomed to Daylight Park by June. Whoooo we actually haven't seen in a while. Like, until we did this we realized she wasn't in the last chapter at all!
Hello999 - Leadale
This was a commission. Know nothing about the subject matter, but hoping folks will enjoy it.
Babysat by Hawkeye
In light of being regressed Edward is trying to keep in the swing of things on alchemy but, uh, maybe not the right babysitter to try that with. Simple but fun picture, were split on if it needed dialogue but decided if you know the show it works without it.
New Employee Policies
Heheh... Yeah, Hitomi, the cutest little bartender from Hinamatsuri dealing with being put into some new uniforms. Very cute little number; especially love the colors and how her benevolent and generous employer made sure the pacifier and diaper matched her bow.
Cute, Kute, Qute
Really, the title of this should be "Kute, Qute, Cute" what with the order these three are in, but that just reads weird. But anyone here into the game Catherine? Hope so, because we've got a great cute picture here of Katherine, Qatherine, and Catherine. Picture was actually mostly drawn by Martin, though I just did some finishing work. Came out really cute; even did a last-minute shading job on it right before we were about to submit it.
