NEW (ambitious) TRANSLATION!
Hi everybody, it's Tom!Malinda and I have been throwing around some songs that we thought might be fun to translate, and I proposed something that is, quite frankly, ridiculous:An Eminem medley. (DUN DUN DUNNNNN)I'm unashamed to admit that Eminem has been my karaoke go-to for many years, and I've been rapping his stuff during cover-band gigs in NYC for a while, so I thought it might be fun to explore the absolutely insanity that translating some hip-hop might bring. Those of you that love making particularly nonsensical translations ...

I hope this video helps take you on that journey with me!We're finishing up working on a single coming out on March 19th (if all goes well), so get ready for thatttt!!xxMKR
A new song! (voice memo)
Hello my amazing patrons :)I wrote this last night and thus far my producer's reaction was "oof" and my mom's reaction was "JEEZ" so I think it hits home xD. We still need to refine it a bit, especially the verses and bridge, but I'm very excited by this song.Enjoy!xxMKRLyrics:VERSE 1You’d watch her sing at the bar next doorYou couldn’t keep it hidden anymoreYou’d light up every time her eyes met yoursSo you tell her how you feelShe admires your honestyYou knew your heart, and she could clearly seeI know you’...

I messed up a bunch in the voice memo but that's ok xD. Let me know what you think!More to comeeeexxMKRLyrics:I’ve gotten good at crying quietlyMy mouth wide open, hoping you can’t hear meHolding my breath, but a lonely sound escapesYou kiss my shoulder out of worrySeveral hours later I finally wake upTo flowers in a red plastic cupYou’d placed them on the kitchen table and left me to s...

The Flood- a new song??
Hi patrons!I wrote this a few days ago about surviving the last 4 years with my friend Micah, and we were so excited in the midst of it and now I'm like...meh? xD. I think there's a lot of potential in it, but it needs some rewrites. This would potentially be on the album as the slow, almost "voice memo"-like song. What hits you and what doesn't? I'm super curious what y'all think of this one.xxMKRlyrics:The water had risenI asked what it was here to take awayI looked to those who might knowAnd soon I’d set my watch...

What I'm working on!
Hello my amazing patrons!I have been WRITING pretty much all the time these days and it feels AWESOME I love it. I love working on a bunch of songs at once and pretty much not doing anything else. That's what I'm letting myself do right now and it's so wonderful. Attached is a little snippet of a song that I'm really liking the direction for. It's called Good Intentions and it's about how I experience anxiety. It's inspired by Billie Eilish and Ella Fitzgerald, so we'll have heavy pop production with a jazz trio ...

Hello my amazing Patrons!!Y'all ROCKED this translation!! And Tom did such a good job doing his first video without my direction!!
