Transported Pages 92-98

***Preemptive Author's Notes:So we had some discussion on whether the current story arc for Transported went above and beyond the normal bounds of weirdness for the comics here. I had some concerns before posting the initial pages, but I thought the eventual pay off was silly enough to forge ahead, so we put up a poll. Big thanks to everybody that voted and commented! My personal cut off was if 25% of people said to skip ahead, that's what I'd do. And the poll results came in at... just over 25%.So for viewers that wanted to skip ov...

Sam and Ruth have bonded over destroying a prison facility and now they get to bond over fleeing from a dimension and never speaking of this ever again. Or bond over overcoming problems. But fleeing sounds sooo much easier.

Current Transported Arc *Some Spoilers

So I was worried this story arc in Transported might be a bit too on the weird side and some people have spoken up to that effect. There's a misdirect, but if you follow what's given, I totally understand why it might be seen as a bit too much.Option time!1- Post the arc as is, it's over by page 982- Post pages 92-98 as a bundle for those that want to read it and skip to the next storyline

"What the hell was that?! What did you do to me?!"The dryad happily claps. "It's not what we did to you, it's what you're going to do for us!"The reptilian hugs the dryad close and beams. Title: TransportedMedia: ComicMain Characters: RicoChapter 3: EmploymentPage 90Rico lays there, listening to their story. Intrigued, but if he could get up, he'd have bolted for the door. The reptilian woman speaks as she holds the dryad at the waist. "We're two incompatible species.""Our worlds are at the edges of our sectors of the Standard and we've branched too far apart to join together."The dryad woman nods rapidly, her face full of worry and sorrow once more. "Oh, we're desperately in love, but biology...

Title: TransportedMedia: ComicMain Characters: RicoChapter 3: EmploymentPage 89Rico comes to in a strange room. It's not a hotel room, but it has the same sterile, phony home-like feeling to it. He tries to get up but collapses back down. He's propped up in what appears to be a dentist's chair that glows around the edges. Rico can just faintly see the field keeping him down. If he tries to get up, it feels like gravity yanks him back to the chair. The dryadic alien from earlier appears over him. She's a bundle of nerves, apologet...

E3 2018

Anything exciting at E3 this year for anybody now that the conferences are over?Transferance was the weird new thing I saw that caught my attention. They did an awesome job of putting out a creepy trailer and I think VR kind of needs that at this point.Glow in the dark maps are totally worthy of swearing. I demand more glow in the dark things. More!I don't know why they didn't show more of Starfield. I'm super up for a non-fantasy RPG these days.I'm a big fan of pirates so Skull & Bones has my attention, but I prefer the more fa...

I'm fascinated by big hair. The physics of it. The art. The time and effort. The completely plausible knowledge and acceptance that every woman with a flashy bouffant is using it to hide weaponry. They're just neat is what I'm trying to say. Also, quit being a dick and gloating, Ruth. Serves ya right.

We have no other access to... humans.". Rico looks nervously away, fidgeting as a shuttle starts to pull into the depot. The reptilian woman pleads more. "We just don't trust those artificial, cloned-in-a-lab humans. And they're so expensive.". Rico says nothing and looks away, pretending to ignore her. With the shuttle now settled on the...

Weekly Art Patron Bonus

And here's this week's bonus art at full resolution for our Patrons. Thanks!

Moocynaries

The first of this month's Patron art requests comes to us thanks to a suggestion by CoreDumpError. We saw Ruth confined in evil science prison at the start of this current issue, but what if Sam had to suffer as well? If you can call a cute outfit like that suffering, of course. Thanks for the suggestion, Core!Patrons at the $4 level get to make monthly art suggestions. Sign up if that intrigues you!

Title: TransportedMedia: ComicMain Characters: RicoChapter 3: EmploymentPage 87There's really no hiding or denying his humanity, so Rico suspiciously says "Yes..." to the lizard woman. The two aliens turn back to each, most pleased and practically giddy at the answer. The reptilian alien turns back to Rico and sidles up to him. Glancing around, she leans in closely. "We need a favor that only a human can do."Rico shrugs and shakes his head, pulling his bag closer to him. "No thank you. I'm out of that business."***...

Picking fights with each other to resolve their problems really did help out Sam and Ruth. They actually solved a case before it went bad! Let this be a lessen in the power of slugging your friends and giving each other ill-gotten science racks. It works!

AI Love You All Patreon Bonus

Tales of Mercynaries: AI Love You All

Our Patrons voted and the next story theme for our Mercynaries Tales was "AI". Too often do AIs get turned into murdery conquerors in media, so we're striking back with an AI that's a bit more caring, pitying, and motherly. Our Patrons get the story and the images at their full resolutions!

Mercynaries June 2018 Preview

How great would it be to have a job where you can casually say things like "brain switch machine" or "science tubes"? Or to have a volcano lair!

Mercynaries Page 324

How great would it be to have a job where you can casually say things like "brain switch machine" or "science tubes"? Or to have a volcano lair!Fun fact for the Patreon version of the update: One of the story ideas I worked on before Mercynaries was to have a transformation-based secret agent comic. I eventually turned it into the coming pages, but the old one was the birthplace of Sam's name! Instead of having a numerical code for the agents (like "007") all of the characters had the code name of "SAM", whic...

Quick Critique: Bloodstained Curse of the Moon

CotM's greatest strengths and weaknesses are the same thing. They absolutely successfully made a new legally distinct not-Castlevania 3. So total kudos to them for proving they understand the old Castlevania games. The downside: all they made was a not-Castlevania. You can find an analogue to so many moments or enemies in the game to the original Castlevanias, so CotM feels like a creatively bankrupt project. If you want to play Castlevania 3, you can totally just go do that right now. It's on the Virtual Console for only $5. So CotM is...

Pip Judges the World: Montreal Edition

More work travel, so it's time to bring the judgment back to North America with a harsh gaze towards Canadia for the 2010s and I'm happy to say it holds up.Repeated ads about companies practically scooping up pets off the street to do experiments on them. I mean, scaring people into thinking that their pets are going to be taken and experimented on? THAT is a political ad to wow even the United States.Montreal is like a cleaner San Francisco. It's San Francisco without the fear that you're about to step in human waste any second...

Mercy is oddly okay with seeing a cat fight between two of her only friends. Ah, maybe she's just forward thinking about how helpful it is for your wet nurse to also be your baby's father.
