The base of my style relies on the slightly rounded shapes when it comes to build a character's structure: Squares, cones, triangles, etc. Most of the times I draw girls I use this kind of shapes, I think they look softer that way, of course in case I want them to look soft :)

Surely this isn't new xD... When it comes to draw "Rounded Stuff" I like to imagine them like water Balloons and how they act in front of gravity. also as balloons are soft they react to force making it squish when it's applied on them, making them look somehow realistic... But surely these are suggestions, tastes are wide open on variety and some may like the helium floating balloons too xD

Divisive Line and Angle

I've been planning about releasing some guides on Sundays, so let's hope this helps!Again using our dear model Merry I bring an example of how I build poses and bodies. I use to always see a divisive line in middle of the sketch, which helps a lot to determine if both sides of her body are correctly divided no matter if she is standing in a front or twisted angle.If i want to draw different angles or perspectives I keep in mind an imaginary frame which helps to determine the intensity of the view.
