AnimeCon Harem 9: 9 pt 9
Please? You promise Rebecca? You promise, right, you promise? Emily pleaded, rushing over to the door. The petite girls body language implied she was going to stand firm at the threshold and let no one enter until Rebecca agreed to remain silent about her discoveries. You can talk about how hes got this harem now, because he totally does. Just dont say anything about magic just yet? Please please please?I can wait and see how its affecting everyone? Rebecca gave her a reluctant nod. But Im not going to lie to Brian....
RE: Trailer Trash, 6 pt 11
After a short session and some mild discomfort with a doctor gently examining her wrist and hand, Tabitha’s temporary brace was replaced with another cast. The weight of it was almost familiar, it was fragrant in that peculiar way only new casts are, and at her request it was once again blue. The only complaint she had about it was how bare it looked—completely bereft of her friend’s signatures. That would be fixed as soon as she could find someone with a marker and see everyone again.“It’s so dreadful thinking what happened!” Mrs. ...
RE: Trailer Trash, 6 pt 10
Several days had passed since revealing her story to Elena, and Tabitha was getting more antsy by the moment. The teenage girl sighed, brushing her red tangle back from her face with her good hand and tucking her hair behind one ear as she surveyed her boring room within Springton General Hospital’s inpatient ward. The decor was bright and clean but in a forced cheer way, somehow sterile of coziness and comforts to put her mind at ease.An oversight on their part, to be sure, Tabitha thought to herself with a wry smile. A big picture of a bunc...
AHE: Kelly designs NSFW
While her day one outfit of tank top and skinny jeans is deceptively simple, it seemed smart to get a head start on designing some of the day two costumes and clothing because of their complexity; bloomers, Calamity Queen dress, yoga pants and Rolling Phones band tee.The 5/11/20 Kelly front v1 has been retired, 7/24/20 Kelly front v2:8/7/20 Kelly sitting:3/16/21 Kelly side:( Stephanie designs NSFW | AnimeCon Harem Eroge | Brian designs NSFW )
AHE: Westerlin Unmade Bed
This will wrap up the May scenes, and should give us plenty of variation to work with for the visual novel.5/08/2020 Hotel Unmade Bed v1 has been retired, 12/30/2020 Hotel Unmade Bed v2:6/21/2021 Added day / made bed and night / unmade bed variants:Interested in seeing which batch of choices'll win out when I put up the next poll on the 25th. Our other artist should be finishing the Kelly designs in the next day or two, so look forward to that. ( ͡° ᴥ ͡°)( Westerlin Bathroom | AnimeCon Harem Eroge | Convention Exterior )
AnimeCon Harem 9: 9 pt 8
Stephanie almost tripped, stumbling over her own feet as part of her mind opened up to a chestnut-streaked forest of wide, sturdy trunks and ancient limbs, and the pink-haired girl nearly dropped the drink-carrier containing the coffees and hot cocoas.Whoa, there, Brian remarked, steadying her free hand. You alright?Having collected their order, the two were rather leisurely threading their way back through the city towards the hotel. Brian carried a take-out bag bulging with the cartons of their breakfast along with two rolled-up copie...
AHE: Westerlin Bathroom
Continuing right along with the May backgrounds, here's the tiny enclosure of the bathroom in Brian's hotel room. Surprisingly, this one had the most changes of all of our backgrounds so far, I had to ask him to completely redraw this one.2 background illustrations.1/23/2021 Hotel Bathroom v2:8/15/2021 Bathroom Interior:We have a curtain-less version with added steam that we'll zoom in on when we need scenes of characters actually in the shower bathing:It also occurs to me that rather than completely retiring our v1 bathroom illustr...
AHE: Westerlin Bed & Chair
Shockingly, the Ecchi set won out in the poll for May backgrounds, so we're starting out with a close angle of the bed and chair where Brian, Stephanie, and Kelly play truth or dare. With the nighttime lighting version of Brian's Hotel Room to set up an establishing shot, we now also have this to set an even more intimate scene as the characters get up to dangerous games.(5/01/2020 Hotel Bed & Chair v1 has been retired)6/15/2021 Hotel Bed & Chair v2:Not super exciting or interesting, but I'd say a lot of backgrounds like this are ne...
RE: Trailer Trash 28, Explaining everything to Elena.
Elena didn’t know what to think when Mrs. Seelbaugh dropped off her and Alicia at Springton General Hospital to visit with Tabitha for a few hours. There wasn’t any secret Elena could think of that would justify what had happened, nothing that could absolve Elena of her own wrongdoing. But, against her better judgement, she hadn’t pressed the subject, instead allowing Alicia to defer the explanation to Tabitha.“Sorry! I can’t say any more—I really can’t,” Alicia had said, holding up her hands in a helpless gesture. “Not my sec...
AnimeCon Harem 9: 9 pt 7
Im not tryin to push you into doing stuff, or anything, Kelly lied, reaching over to carefully smooth out the way those shaggy blue bangs laid across Emilys brow. Just, likewere all gonna be involved with Brian. I want us to be on the same page.Right. Yeah, Emily nodded distractedly. Same page is good.Kelly only just barely managed to suppress a positively villainous smile. After what felt like an entire weekend of her womanly wiles running up against the guarded wall of Brian being defensive, and then patiently carryi...

Thatsis thatis that me?! Stephanie clutched at Brian in shock.Through the scuffed glass of the newspaper stand, an issue of the Sunday Morning Gazette tucked into the display front featured an enormous cover picture of a young woman with brilliant pink hair and an all-too-familiar gijinka dress crouched down in front of the adorable little Cassie in her little Embrin getup. Cosplayers Flock to AnimeCon, the title read in bold lettering. It had been startling enough for Stephanie to see herself in the mirror with her bright new hair co...
AHE May Environments
Easy for my enthusiasm to exceed my means here, so I'm budgeting three background scenes a month for the AnimeCon Harem Eroge project. VIP patrons and up will get a poll just like this a week in advance of the month to decide what we want to see next! Before game release, this gives us more options for our first alpha version. After release, it'll give us monthly updates that focus on expanding a specific new area to explore.Kinetic BackgroundsLeaning towards the kinetic novel path will focus on scene direction that follows the AnimeCon...
AHE: Westerlin Hotel Room
Chloe may disdain cheap hotel rooms, but I think they have a certain kind of cozy charm to them. Staying at fancier, more upscale accommodations often feels like a waste to me when my trip's focusing on the convention itself.Feel like our artist did a great job here, because the scene definitely evokes a strong sense of familiarity. Most of us have probably stayed in this exact room at some point or another.Quite a bit of the story takes place in Brian's room, so expect a lot of different environment assets focusing on this location!I d...

“Elena… I’ve already lived out a different life, one that went past 1998,” Tabitha revealed in a slow voice.“She’s from the future!” Alicia blurted out.“I’m from... a future,” Tabitha corrected. “A different future. This time through is significantly different, because of things I’ve tried to change.”“She’s from the future!” Alicia said again. “Like, she’s for real from the future. She knows things that nobody else could ever, ever know. She knew about the shooting, she—”“Alicia, whoa,” Tabitha chided...
AnimeCon Harem 9: 9 pt 5
Should probably pace myself, or something, Brian reminded himself. May FEEL like Im in great form today, but realistically, thats probably just I dunno, all of these crazy circumstances. How could I NOT feel outstanding right now?It was almost an entire hour later in the day than yesterdays morning run had been, and the downtown area was likewise that much busier. Brian weaved around group after scattered group of pedestrians as he led Stephanie on a light jog across the broad city sidewalks. Hed intended on taking it a bit slower tod...
AHE: Hallway Background
Go go go bg artist, shine bright like a burning star! This artist might quickly outpace the character design artist, but that's probably okay. Gonna move a bit more of April's production budget towards this guy, because having a strong foundation of scenes for the start of this project is absolutely not a bad thing. This one's just a simple hall right now, I figure it can be one of several that connect the more critical locales. This one in particular will feature the upper level's entrance to the Atrium.Asking him for Brian'...

AHE: Retired Assets
OLD Character DesignsThe first character artist for our project, Zaphryon completed thirteen character design sheets and fourteen special illustrations... and then quit without warning in April of 2021. So as not to have wildly incompatible art styles, we are replacing all of the Zaphryon art assets. However, as we spent a full year and multiple order iterations refining the specifics of each cosplay design, outfit, hairstyle, and general character appearances, Zaphryon's work remains with the project as concept references for the artist wh...
AnimeCon Harem Bonus: Super Slash Sisters
I don’t play games, Lucas Macrae told himself as he stared at the garish lights and neon colors flickering across the row of widescreen TVs set up in AnimeCon’s first game room. He’d told himself he didn’t play games in patient repetition all throughout the weekend, and it had in fact become his mantra for well over a year, now. When his boss, the Radio 82.99 program director, proposed this weekend excursion last month, Lucas had told the man. He didn’t play games.Right, Right, Mr. Collins had nodded in apparent understanding, leaning...
AnimeCon Harem 9: We Need to Talk
Kelly listened patiently to the hushed whispers and rustling of clothes as Brian and Stephanie put on attire for a morning outing, and she strained her ears not-so-patiently each time the two seemed to get distracted from getting ready to make out. Which happened frequently, and consisted of tense silence, heavy breathing, small, almost inaudible wet noises, and an occasional gasp from Stephanie. When they finally left, with the reliable click of the doors automatic lock engaging behind them, Kelly threw back the covers and sat up.Love you t...

RE: Trailer Trash Special pt 3
It was a long trek back through the woods towards the pair of broken and discarded goblin corpses in the ravine, and Tabitha slowed to a quiet stalking creep as she neared. The treeline on both slopes was obscured by ferny undergrowth, the unexplored goblin warren was a possible threat, and her heart was racing at the potential danger of being ambushed by the survivors of the raiding party.Or goblin reinforcements from the warren, Tabitha thought as she hunkered down to creep forward. One of the Elder Scrolls Eight memes she remembered had insi...
AnimeCon Harem 9: Good Morning Sunshine

Hi Claire! Christine squeaked out in a chipper voice, giving the woman an excited wave. No Daddy, this time?Your fathers finishing up some paperwork now, Claire said, beckoning Christine over into her car. Cmon, hop in.It was a nice black car, a sleek luxury convertible with the top already folded back. Christine bounced over from the bus stations transit area and hopped in, climbing over the door rather than opening it. Claire was always cool with itChristines mother Mrs. Weschler would have thrown a fit.Awesome! ...
RE: Trailer Trash 27, Tabitha's long convalescence.
“—There we go, think that did the trick,” a nonplussed voice from out of nowhere remarked.Tabitha jolted back to awareness with her sinuses screaming, and caught a blurry glimpse of a hand holding a white paper capsule covered with tiny black text. Her brain wasted no time connecting the overpowering ammonia inhalant in the air to the idea of smelling salts, and being roused back to consciousness in such a manner was a lot more unpleasant than she’d have ever imagined. There were three faces crowded around wherever she was lying, it was...
RE: Trailer Trash Special pt 2
( RE: Trailer Trash Special pt 1 ) Well... I also want to see what I look like, Tabitha admitted to herself with a wince. It’s not superfluous or vain in this situation. I actually have no idea who I really just QUANTUM LEAPED into. Memories are suspect, I want to—no, I NEED to see this and really confirm it for myself. If her circumstances were to be believed—and despite the twists and turns her life had taken she found herself a little incredulous—she was in someone else’s body, in someone else’s world. A fantasy world by every ind...
RE: Trailer Trash 6 pt 5
“Mom?” Tabitha asked in a weak voice, cracking her eyes open.“I’m here,” Mrs. Moore jolted up from the seat at the side of the small room and rushed to her side. “I’m here, Sweetie. I’m right here.”Lifting up her right hand—it felt heavy and sluggish—Tabitha immediately felt her mother take it firmly in her hands. It was still a struggle to see, but it was difficult to tell if it was because the small room was too dimly lit or too bright. Impossibly, it seemed to be both at the same time. Mrs. Moore’s faintly smiling fac...
