Greatures, 154

Last Place was disgusted by Grottie's irreverence towards dinner.

Greatures, "long gregg" alt take

An alternate version of "Long Gregg" that I got this far into finishing before I stopped and asked myself: "does this make sense?" Not that Greatures isn't fantastical and odd in its own way, but it has its own rules too. That's the part that keeps it grounded to a point, something I adored when done in Adventure Time or the like. And I never really introduced the concept that "Gregg" is whichever moleworm wears the glasses in the strip.I wrote it in the character descriptions, and even showed that there are Othe...

Greatures, 151

This one had some rewrites and an almost fully inked comic before I came up with this version of it I'm happy with. Shout outs to John for the assist. I'll post the scrapped comic later on today.Gregg is enjoying "Bring it On".

"The Night of the Greature"

Sketch practice over a screenshot from "The Night of the Hunter." Now to get down to actual work and to NOT keep playing Silksong.

Greatures, 150

Mike is the Greatures' roommate.

Greatures, "A Brief Moment of Respite"

Something from the sketchbook and onto the finished canvas. Last Place goes exploring the deep, dank and overgrown areas of the labyrinth with his sturdy Empty Boy to guide him! You are a better man than I am , Last Place!

Greatures, 149

hi me soil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greatures, 148

Started writing out one strip, came up with this one instead.

Greatures, 147 alternate take

Originally drawn in my sketchbook as the 3-panel joke, I took it to page and stretched it out a bit, but it didn't have the juice! So here's my work anyway as I spent an evening inking the thing and am still pretty happy with that part. No editing, no white-out, just the inks and some pencils. Never be afraid to throw out the shit that don't work for you.

Greatures, 147

He's serving Robert Mitchum, for those wondering.

Greatures, 146

Up your butt, sir!

Greatures, 145

Whale, slake my thurst! If'n it ain't the Boogie Boys!

"Big Eyes"

This one got away from me when coloring, so I've let it run off and have disowned it in my will.

Greatures, 144

The yellow bear is having a nic fit.

Greatures, 143

KEEP that beast DOWN on the ground

Greatures, 142

Nah, I didn't forget about "The Liar." Honest!

"Like About Dogs"

Something quick I wanted to do from an idea sittin' around in my sketchbook. A surprising accident was keeping the original scan (hi-res phone photo) while cleaning up the lines and coloring it. Then let the colors lay over the untouched scan and getting a cool crunchy look from the paper stock (literally scrap paper). Always on the lookout for the happy digital accident as companies like adobe continue to iron out the messy fun of creativity.

Cigarette as "Maneater Mildred"

from Dark Souls 1This is what motivates Cigarette every waking moment. It's rarely present in the deep deep lore of Greatures, but know this is her ultimate mission in life. Her every decision gets her one step closer to becoming a version of this NPC that invades you in the swamp level of Dark Souls the video game.Last Place is chilling out in the ruins, as is his normal order of operations..

Greatures, 141

I did enough of the work I needed to do! Time to get back to what matters.

“The Cartoon Frog”

First thing I’ve drawn for myself in a couple of weeks.

TiF 2026 Calendar/ JibJab

Why would anyone we license with ever tell us when the things we've done with them drop? The answer to that is: They aren't paid to care about that. They're just here to make products with a funny dog on it.So here are a couple! A full 12 month calendar for 2026! Originally drawn in 2024 for THIS current calendar year, but eh, Whatever! It was one of our first licensing deals and I made 12 new images for it! You might've seen these images reused elsewhere! It's a cyclical nature, this kinda commerce. And no one seems to mind...

"Me in the Slop"

Something I drew in the sketchbook yesterday and shared online and decided to clean it up and make a comic out of it. For da public.

Greatures, 140 (5 pages)

What a wild road its been to land this plane! But I'm happy with it! And I'm also tired of it, so Greatures is gonna take a small break and catch its breath. In the meantime, I got this other book I'm working on starring some famous Dog and that's due soonish. Always something to do around here.Greatures will return! And we'll have fun again. I promise.

Fresh as a Daisy (auto-correct bio)

Doing these have been freeing up thoughts that crowd my mind. It's nice to get them out in some form. I got a haircut.

Greatures, 139

Okay! The next one is gonna be longer than a usual Sunday Special. So it's gonna take a while for me to knock out, what with normal work to-do as well. So give me a while to finish up... the Small Mario arc of Greatures. Well, bye

Greatures, 138

Trying not to run out of personal steam, but we're landing the plane on this story soon. In fact, the Sunday Special will have to be a bit longer to do it proper. So I'm just making the runway with these last couple strips before #140. I sometimes feel I can get carried away with something like this in my comics, too much story and less chuckles and goofs. But it's important to me to be emotionally consistent with these characters. And I just don't want to rush it. But I gotta remember to have fun too. I gotta remember to have f...
