EARLY ACCESS: Musical Autopsy: Gayle - ABCDEFU
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/JgSnDX0dFB4It's Friday, it's Early Access Day, and it's a Musical Autopsy of an incredibly overplayed song. Need I say a whole lot more? Enjoy!Doc Buckley drops into the Musical Morgue to slice up another song made popular by TikTok (this is pretty much how music is made popular these days... it used to be radio, then it was MTV, then it was YouTube, now it's TikTok). Gayle gives us another angsty teenage song about heartbreak, except... apparently the kids think this is what punk music is?
Q&A - March 2022 (NEW FEATURE!)
A post on a THURSDAY!? Sure, why not. I want to try out a new feature here which I think will make two groups of people happy: the people who enjoyed "Patreon Goes Postal" and the people who hated it and felt it was a waste of a bonus video.Once a month, I'll post one of these threads, and there'll be a button at the top of the page (on the web version anyway, I don't know what the app looks like) where you can see the most recent Q&A thread. You can feel free to ask me whatever questions you'd like: maybe it'll be t...
Bonus/Early Access: Russia Invades Ukraine: Sponsored By Applebee's! (Extra Dose)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/GaJVyr8nHcoHey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day! And since March has 5 Tuesdays, that means 5 bonus videos this month instead of the usual 4. So I thought you might not mind if I share one with the rest of the class. I'm making this week's bonus video available to everyone tomorrow, but of course you get it today in early access. This is about as close to discussing the topic of the current conflict in Eastern Europe as I'm going to get, as I think it's important for everyone to know their strengths...
EARLY ACCESS: Celebrity Worshipers Are Morons: It's Science!
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/HqtTxkmPpUsIt's Friday and it's time for you to get first crack at the weekend video! The last couple videos have discussed more serious topics (the Joe Rogan Spotify controversy and the Freedom Convoy) so this week I thought I'd lighten things up with a video about celebrity culture and its effects on the mind. Apparently, some scientists tried to figure out if people who worship celebrities are smarter or dumber than the average person... I'll give you three guesses as to which one they landed on!W...
Bonus #110 - Freedom From The Freedom Phone (Extra Dose)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/9fawYxeVhoUHappy 2022-22-02! This day only comes once in the entire universe (unless time somehow manages to be cyclical) so... I don't know... get a pizza or something. Is it Bonus Dose Day already!? Yes it is, and maybe a bit of an accidental theme here. On Saturday I talked about the Freedom Convoy, and today I'm talking about the Freedom Phone (again)! This video was actually supposed to come out like 3 weeks ago, but I decided it wasn't "time sensitive" enough that it could be pushed back whi...
EARLY ACCESS: The Freedom Convoy
VIDEO LINK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1h6KhvN24vgHey everyone, it's Friday, it's Early Access day, and I don't think there's much more to say about this one... more than likely you've heard every American and their brother give their opinion on the Freedom Convoy, now maybe you'd like to hear what a Canadian has to say about the protest going on here? Enjoy it now before the comments section looks like the streets of Ottawa!Buckley talks about the Freedom Convoy. This won't be divisive at all, will it? From its...
Bonus #109 - Volunteering at the Super Bowl (Extra Dose)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/YYYDN_lYVSEHey everyone, it's Bonus day! A little behind the scenes on my creative process if you're interested: I actually made this video a week ago, and then made a couple minor edits to it on Monday night to include images from the actual event to make it look like I put this whole video together yesterday or hours after the game. All of my videos are made in such a way that I can make changes to them right up to the point of uploading, fairly quickly if I want to, without having to re-record entire sect...
EARLY ACCESS: Rage Reviews: Spotify (& Joe Rogan)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/CS44JAwRFUUHey everyone, it's Early Access Day! After doing 4 episodes of "Rage Reviews" that were exclusive to Patreon, I thought it was time to finally share the segment with everyone. The recent controversy surrounding Joe Rogan got me thinking "what kind of 1 star reviews is Spotify getting these days?" and I found some funny ones not just from people upset about how Spotify is handling the Rogan situation (on both sides), but also from people who are upset about other aspects of the app. Rag...
Bonus #108 - The New Jersey Devils Are Racist?! (Extra Dose)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/2IUHGeA1aG8Another Tuesday, another Bonus video! Now, for those of you who saw the Saturday video and paid attention to the little Patreon bumper at the beginning, you might have noticed that I advertised a video about the Freedom Phone as a bonus this week. Well, I wrote this video literally 2 days ago and thought it'd be more timely, while that other one isn't particularly time-sensitive, so it's been moved down the schedule. And for those of you who are like "Buckley, why are you talking about spo...
EARLY ACCESS: When We Were Young: The Fyre Fest of Astroworlds
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/JNPoiDN3U6ALook at that... you made it through another week! Yes, it's Friday and it's Early Access day. And 30 year olds, guess what? All your favorite bands from when you were 16 are now nostalgia acts. That's gotta make you feel old, right? BUT, look on the bright side (optimism isn't something emo kids are generally known for but let's try it anyway), this means all your favorite bands who you thought would never tour again are touring again! And so, this week's video is about a festival ...
Bonus #107 - Kanye, Kim & Pete's Bermuda Love Triangle (Extra Dose)
VIDEO LINK: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s3l8-fW3nQ4Hey everyone, it's Bonus Dose day! Now, you probably thought "Oh Buckley forgot about us today, he's really slacking!" but I decided to delay this week's bonus video by a few hours on purpose because today's February 1st, and on the first of every month Patreon does its payment processing. In the past, this has caused the site to be laggy, to be slow to send out e-mails, to be generally unpleasant to visit, and so I felt it might be better to wait until later in the ...
EARLY ACCESS: Buckley vs Billboard's Top 10 Songs of 2021
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/dSCgx1iMhwYHey everyone, it's Early Access day and this is a video I've been really excited to share with you. As you know, every year I do my list of The Worst Songs the year (and obviously this year was no exception... you've watched it already of course, right?!) but this year I thought "what if I also looked at the most popular songs of the year?" Similar to my "Buckley vs The 10 Most Popular TikTok's Most Videos", this video takes a look at what a large chunk of the population is...
Bonus #106 - American Kids Don't Know Where Bacon Comes From? (Extra Dose)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/TuulTuZCQ-YIt's Bonus Video day! Today's topic comes to us from the "where'd they get the grant money for this?" department, as we look at a somewhat dubious study that gives us the chance to have a little fun at both the education system's expense and the scientific research system's expense. And of course, I'd like to point out to my American friends that, yes, I fully believe Canadian kids would have fared just as poorly. Anyway, on with the show:A recent study showed that American...
EARLY ACCESS: The Dumbest Music Copyright Case Ever (ft Eric Clapton)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/etskRdGlGBMHey everyone, it's Friday and it's time for your early access to the weekend video! This week, it's a Dose about a copyright lawsuit I found out about that might be one of the most absurd abuses of power I've seen in a long time. Enjoy!Anyone that's been on the Internet since the 90s will tell you that we've seen a massive shift in copyright enforcement. From the wild west days of “download brand new games from direct links on this website, no one will care!” to the modern day ...
Bonus #105 - Pokimane and the Twitch "Meta" (Extra Dose)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/4ke2F35VeZAHey everyone, it's Bonus Video day! And today we're looking at one of my favorite topics to mock: lazy entertainers! Twitch is often the dumping ground for this, people who stream for 4 hours at a time with almost zero preparation, plans, or written material (and poor improv skills as well), but if you can believe it... some of them have found a way to put even LESS effort into their videos! On Twitch, streamers often live and die by the “meta”, copying whatever other popular streamers are doin...
EARLY ACCESS: Musical Autopsy - Edamame (bbno$ ft Rich Brian)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/ZdAACHgxiIsHey everyone, it's Early Access day! Here's a fun little piece of trivia: Since 2016, I've uploaded a Musical Autopsy every year in January (excluding 2019, during my hiatus). January is a great time to look back at a song from the previous year that maybe slipped my notice but is still well known, or wasn't QUITE bad enough to make the Worst Songs list but still deserves a full Autopsy, and I think this is one of those songs that kind of managed to fly under my radar or that I was too bus...
Bonus #104 - Jake Paul vs Dana White (Extra Dose)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/TBE7ciF6JdYBefore we get to this week's bonus video, I wanted to share a post with you guys here that I previously shared on Twitter and Facebook, that some of you might be interested in: an infographic of some statistics for my channel last year, including number of overall views and watch hours, but also how many videos I created, how many pages and words I wrote, and some demographic info.https://twitter.com/ADoseofBuckley/status/1477323513270788099And now, onto this week's bonus video as I continue to ch...
EARLY ACCESS: Taylor's Versions: Cash Grab or Power Move?
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/RndhX9bMW3kHappy New Year everyone! Before we get started, just a note that my holiday "break" is over and I will now be returning to my regular schedule (Patreon exclusive videos on Tuesdays, weekend videos on Saturdays with Patreon getting early access on Friday). Also, I think every weekend video in January will be about music or the music industry (I have a Musical Autopsy scheduled later this month, next week is about a very strange music copyright case, and I got something really fun planned for the en...
Bonus #103 - Billie Eilish vs P0rn (Extra Dose)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/Qnav6S8poiAHappy New Year and welcome to the first video of 2022! This is one of those ones I considered doing as a weekend video, but figured there was absolutely no way the algorithm would treat it very well (in fact, Patreon made me change the title or else it was going to flag it for review). Consider this one "too hot for YouTube!", like an old Jerry Springer VHS tape, as we discuss Billie Eilish's thoughts on a certain industry.Billie Eilish recently spoke out against the, umm, adult film industry,...
Bonus #102 - Pepper Potts Isn't As Obsessed With The MCU As You Are (Extra Dose)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/_lCPATVNl48Hey everyone, it's my last video of 2021! So once again, I want to take a moment to thank everyone here, whether you've been a Patron for 2 years, 2 months, 2 days, or 2 minutes, your support over these last couple of years has been greatly appreciated, and I'm looking forward to continuing to entertain you in 2022!A reminder that I will not be posting a video on January 1st, and I will be going back to my regular schedule (Patreon videos on Tuesdays, Weekend videos on Saturdays with you getti...
EARLY ACCESS: Selling PS5s: The Most Dangerous Game
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/02kl3g1OrRUHappy... Monday? Yes, I know I don't normally post on a Monday, but the holidays have messed up my schedule a little bit, so here's the plan for the next week or so:- I'm posting a new Dose tomorrow (today in early access for you, this video right here!)- Then your regular Tuesday bonus video will be up on Wednesday (it's a fun one about celebrity worship and how clickbait news sites will make a story out of anything)- No new video this Saturday (Jan 1st)- Patreon will get a bonus video on...
Holiday 2021 Update
PLAYLIST LINK: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLqYWkRbNmhxcmsHx3XhFeEuOOF6loMFZhHey everyone, there's no new video this weekend due to the Christmas holiday (I've uploaded on Christmas day a few times, and those videos end up doing incredibly poorly... who'da thought people want to spend time with their families instead of watch an angry guy ramble about stuff?!) and you basically just got the equivalent of about 4 videos last week! So to get you into the holiday spirit, enjoy this playlist I put together of all of my Christm...

VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/IQvapCKtSTwHey everyone, it's Tuesday and it's Bonus Dose day! From his own personal vault of "weird songs people have sent me over the years", a rapper by the name of "Blitz-N" who may actua...
EARLY ACCESS: The Worst Songs of 2021
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/jHff7Zlg62MBefore we get to the video (you clicked the link already didn't you?), I just want to say thank you to every Patreon subscriber, whether you've been with me since I started this 2 years ago, or you subscribed yesterday, OR somewhere in between. I can't really describe how much I appreciate your support. All I can keep doing is creating stuff you find entertaining and keep saying thank you until you're irritated with my polite Canadian-ness!Anyway, this one needs no description. It's Th...

VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/cS-fn1AVxNQHey everyone, can you believe we're almost at 100 Bonus videos?! And perhaps fittingly, the 100th Bonus video will be the special Worst Songs "bonus award", which will come out next Tuesday just before the full Worst Songs video comes out that Saturday. BUT, before we get to all that, enjoy this video about a strange offer I got the other day, one that might become the next big thing for YouTubers.Almost-but-not-quite an episode of Inside the Bottle, Buckley talks about the types of offers You...
EARLY ACCESS: Everyone's Too Fragile For The Dislike Button
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/ZBXw7qxId84Hey everyone, it's December, and it's about 15 more sleeps until The Worst Songs of 2021! Before we get to this week's video, I just want to mention there are a couple spots in the "Signature Dose" tier open this month for anyone interested in getting a signed script. Unfortunately I can't guarantee anything gets there before Christmas (perhaps some day I will control the world's mail, but not today...) but I will certainly do my best.In the meantime, I have two more videos to ...
Bonus #98 - Buckley's First Fight
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/EXvpnw2O490Hey everyone, well the day that I've promised is finally here. Never mind all those "YouTubers" who started boxing because it was trendy... your ol' pal Buckley is always ahead of the game, doing things when they're as uncool as possible! Maybe some day it'll be trendy for social media goofballs to become carnival workers! But until then, enjoy this old video of me punching and being punched in an organized sport! From the vault! (and not like those fake tapes from "Arthur Buckl...
