Bonus #223 - Dead Internet Theory and Fake Cakes (Extra Dose)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/rufxhisV8uwHey everyone, it's Bonus Dose day, and although today's video looks at a specific online phenomenon ("The Dead Internet Theory"), it might also highlight the complete lack of a monoculture, and just how different everyone's experience online is these days. Have you seen the fake cakes before? Let me know in the comments either here or on YouTube. Enjoy!Buckley takes a look at the "Dead Internet Theory", a belief that much of the social media content you see, as well as the view...
EARLY ACCESS: YouTuber Cash Grab Goes Wrong (Watcher)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/qYe5ykHb8ogHey everyone, it's Early Access Day, and today's video is a fun one, as we wonder if maybe some people have forgotten what YouTube's supposed to be about? Do we NEED channels with 30 staff members creating shows that could air on Netflix? Well, one channel certainly found out the answer to that question the hard way. Enjoy!Once upon a time, YouTube was all amateur content made on no budget. Now, every creator has ambitions of creating their own TV network. But what happens when you ask your au...
Bonus #222 - Hatsune Miku: Virtual Ripoff
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/gNu9oIKNH1gHey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day, and today's video is a weird one, and definitely going to be one of those topics where 4 people in my audience are going to be like "Wait, Buckley knows what Hatsune Miku is, AND knows about this concert thing?" What can I say, I read a LOT. But for those of you who DON'T know, don't skip this one, it's a really funny story (and of course, I explain who/what she is). Enjoy!Buckley looks at the recent controversy around Hatsune Miku's North...
EARLY ACCESS: OnlyFans Girl Finds God (Nala Ray)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/xGF7sqNdcqoHey everyone, it's Early Access Day, and just a reminder that I've answered all the questions in this month's Q&A, so feel free to go read 'em! And of course, I'll still be answering questions if more come in. So, that being said... on with this weekend's video!Buckley looks at the viral story of Nala Ray, the woman who, in 3 years, racked up over $9 million selling herself to simps on OnlyFans, and has now decided to become a born again Christian. BUT, can she truly leave the life...
Bonus #221 - Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson (Extra Dose)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/Y46Y0Exb92gHey everyone, it's Bonus Dose day! And today, I have good and bad news for you. The good news? Jake Paul is only a couple months away from stepping into a ring with a man once considered to be the most dangerous individual to ever step in any sort of combat sports ring. The bad news? There are rules, and this isn't 1989. But, I felt like it was my duty to break this one down, so... enjoy!Buckley, the Influencer Boxing Expert of YouTube (a title he's REALLY proud of...) tells you everything you...
EARLY ACCESS: Ozempic: Fat Celebs vs Diabetics
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/O2haAUq9gI0Hey everyone, it's Early Access Day, and you guys all know how humble I am (perhaps the most humble ever!) but I honestly think this might be one of my most pure comedic/absurd videos in a while. Enjoy!Buckley looks at Ozempic, the miracle medication that's helping Hollywood slim down! Apparently... at the cost of the people who actually NEED that medication. People with Type 2 Diabetes (you know, the people who it's actually for in the first place!) are being told they can't get Ozempic d...
Bonus #220 - Family Moves to Russia for... Freedom? (Extra Dose)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/0O7HGeMco04Hey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day, but just a reminder to be sure to check out the Q&A thread I posted on Sunday. I've already answered a large portion (if not all) of the questions so far, and I'll be checking the threat all month long.Anyway... You know, I think I'd be the absolute worst grifter of all time. So many of my videos basically tell everyone to do things that, inevitably, would get them away from watching my videos! "get off the Internet!" "don't spend so much ...
Q&A - April (Spring) 2024
Hey everyone, it's been a while since I've done a Q&A, so... give me some Qs and I'll give you some As! Ask me questions about recent events I may not have talked about in videos, recent shows/movies/video games I may have watched/played, whether or not I would eat various foods, hypothetical questions about which Golden Girls or Gilmore Girls I think could survive bear attacks, I don't know, whatever's on your mind. I'll reply to your questions throughout the month right here. And of course, if you'd like to submit ...
EARLY ACCESS: GamerGate 2: 2 Woke 2 Furious
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/HNpl0Mpd5a8Hey everyone, it's Early Access Day, and today's video is a little different, as I explain to you why, sometimes, it's really just best NOT to know a lot about certain subjects. Huh? Well, click on the video and find out what I mean!A look at the sequel that no one asked for... no, not another Call of Duty game, it's GamerGate 2! Social Media's most antisocial are getting frothy over learning about a company named Sweet Baby, who is making games "woke"! Buckley discusses why he...
Bonus #219 - Rage Reviews: "The SlotDog" Hot Dog Cutter
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/OIz8-XdqBaUHey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day, and I've got a fun one for you today! This might be one of my favorite "Rage Reviews" I've done so far, maybe on par with the cat translator one. NOW, you might notice my voice is a little... gritty? Raw? I was sick when I recorded this (as well as last Saturday's Musical Autopsy) but I'm all better now. Anyway, enjoy!Rage Reviews returns with a look at customers who felt ripped off with their purchase of a hot dog slicing tool called the "...
EARLY ACCESS: Musical Autopsy: Kanye West & Ty Dolla $ign - Carnival
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/5hXXzHslr-UHey everyone, Happy Easter to those that celebrate/don't celebrate but get the day off anyway, and hey, check it out, it's Early Access Day! You don't have anything else to do right now, so how about watching a historic Musical Autopsy, the first time in over 60 of these and 14 Worst Songs videos that I've EVER reviewed a Kanye West song. Enjoy! For the first time ever, Doc Buckley dissects a Kanye West song! This has never happened in a single Worst Songs video or Musical Autopsy before. W...
Bonus #218 - OF's Latest Mother of the Year Candidate (Extra Dose)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/kh5JiJ9xEAcHey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day, and... I don't think anything I can say (including the description below) can TRULY prepare you for what you're about to watch. So... enjoy maybe one of the looniest people I've ever featured on this channel for your amusement. In the tradition of discussing characters like DigitalPrincxss (the woman who left her small child at home alone while she went to "film content") and other horrible Mommy Influencers, Buckley presents to you the potential &...
EARLY ACCESS: Is Kesha OK?
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/7oO_amPt8e0Hey everyone, it's Early Access Day, and today's video is like two videos in one! First, it's my 450th Dose, and second... I snuck a Tweeting Rainbow in here! All in honor of one of this channel's favorite old targets, the girl with the dollar sign in her name but probably very few left in her bank account... Ke$ha. Enjoy!A couple years ago, Britney Spears started posting weird things on her Instagram, and her fans and news outlets went wild with speculation about her mental health and wel...
Bonus #217 - No More "Hub" In Canada? (Extra Dose)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/sxcXF1Zp5rUHey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day, and sometimes I think I was just born with a horseshoe up my ass. Not literally, I hope they would have caught that when I was a kid, but I delayed this video thinking "ahh, it doesn't matter if I release this one right away", and then Texas goes ahead and makes it even more topical! Yes, a few days ago, Texas forced all adult websites to use age verification, and The Hub said "nah, we'll just block anyone from Texas". Basically, you could rep...
EARLY ACCESS: TikTok Tradwives
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/AJVZHi8WagcHey everyone, it's Early Access Day, and perhaps you've seen some videos floating around over the last little while of a woman making her children a gourmet grilled cheese from scratch, or women dressed in tight floral print dresses proclaiming that they stand for "traditional values"? WELL, you've stumbled upon the Tradwives of TikTok! And if you've managed to avoid these people, you're in for a treat as I tell you all about the latest "born in the wrong generation" tr...
Bonus #216 - The Scottish Wonka Experience (Extra Dose)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/Q78xgGMG2ZUHey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day! For those of you who enjoy hearing about how the sausage is made... I almost didn't bother with this video. Sometimes a topic seems like it should be a slam dunk, "oh here's something absurd that happened in the world", but sometimes something is TOO absurd, there aren't any jokes to write about it, the story is funnier than anyone could ever be. BUT, I think I've managed to put my own spin on this one. So, if you somehow managed to avoid hear...
EARLY ACCESS: Streaming: The Hardest Job?
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/gpQN0A0FxegHey everyone, it's Early Access Day, and you might be surprised to hear that I don't really take any of the topics I do very "personally". Yes, the gimmick is "Angry Humour from an Angry Man", but generally I just like making fun of stuff that's going on in the world, pop culture, things like that, I don't take these things to heart. Well, this week's topic... I took it a little personally. Enjoy this seething rant about a rich guy telling you how hard it is to sit in f...
The Coyote vs ACME Saga (Extra Dose with Update)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/C5lruenroNIHey everyone, how about ANOTHER mid-week bonus?! This one's for everyone, and if you're wondering "why didn't we get early access to it?" Well, you did... about 3-4 months ago! I've made the "WB, Tax Dodges, and You" video available to everyone here, and have included an extra 5 minutes at the end with updates on the story, as Coyote vs ACME is STILL being discussed in the news and on social media. Enjoy!Originally a Patreon exclusive, Buckley looked at the response to peop...
Bonus #215 - The Steroid Olympics are Real! (Extra Dose)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/J1BBr4QdS4cHey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day, and today we got another video in the "Didn't Buckley talk about this like 8 years ago?" category. This one is a look back at my "Doping in Sports" video along with an all new competition that's scheduled for this year, that just goes to show: what was absurdist humor nearly a decade ago is today's reality! Enjoy!Nearly 10 years ago, Buckley did a video where he suggested he'd like to see an Olympics where all of the competitors were a...
EARLY ACCESS: Beyoncé's Country Cash-In (Texas Hold 'Em)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/5rFSi4jPD0kHey everyone, it's Early Access Day, and for those of you who feel I don't talk about music enough, hopefully today's video satisfies that appetite. We're talking about Beyoncé's foray into Country, and why this might not be as crazy as some people might think. Enjoy!Doc Buckley takes a look at Beyoncé's new song, Texas Hold 'Em, and the conversation surrounding it. How do country fans feel about it? You can probably guess... but does Beyoncé really care about Country, OR do...
Bonus #214 - Dolly Parton Pardons Elle King (Extra Dose)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/Yszi2qpkpYcHey everyone, it's Bonus Dose day, and today's video includes... perhaps a little life lesson on how to deal with disrespect. Not from me, God or any other deity knows I'm not qualified, but from country legend Dolly Parton, who I think I've now talked about in Patreon bonus videos like 3 times! Also, my apologizes in advance for making you listen to Elle King sing live, but I kept it as brief as I could. Enjoy!Elle King, the spawn of D-list comedian Rob Schneider, who had a top 10 pop hit...
EARLY ACCESS: Rachel Dolezal Shows-All
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/YYCcJwEJdesHey everyone, it's Early Access Day, and... boy do I have a video for you this week. This is one of those ones where, if you know the story, it's funny, and if you DON'T know the story, it's REALLY funny. Also, bonus no-points for anyone who gets the reference in the thumbnail. Enjoy!Everyone lies a little on their resumes to get a job, right? Well, if you remember, in 2015, a woman named Rachel Dolezal lied about her SKIN COLOR to get a job as President of the local NAACP. After she was o...
Bonus #213 - Alyssa Milano: Celebrity Charity Case
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/FvxgsIX2rD8Hey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day, and as you know I pride myself on how I end videos. Well, I think today's video has maybe one of the most unpredictable endings I've ever written. Enjoy! At a time when inflation's hit everyone, even things like being asked to donate at the grocery store checkout for actual causes can be annoying. SO you can only imagine what would happen if a CELEBRITY asked for money for, oh... I don't know... her son to go to the Baseball Hall of Fame? Yes, Alyssa M...
EARLY ACCESS: Let's Laugh at Apple Vision Pro Users!
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/bVFIbFpoHiwHey everyone, it's Early Access Day and this week's video actually includes some VIDEO! How about that?! Maybe some day I'll learn After Effects, and then no one will be able to stop me. Actually, this one's got a pretty similar vibe to the "Stop Filming Gym TikToks" or "The World Is Not Your Studio" videos I did, where I comment on a bunch of viral videos of people doing very dumb things, in this case, while wearing Apple's new "Vision Pro", an AR (Augmented Re...
Bonus #212 - Data Says: You LOVE Negativity (Extra Dose)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/wRxP9MpregcHey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day, and today's video falls under the "interesting" category moreso than the "comedy" category, BUT I think it's still a really funny video in its own way, as you're about to see, there's a certain absurdity that builds throughout it. But I think you'll enjoy what is essentially a 5 minute long answer to the question "Why don't you ever do a BEST songs list?"Every now and then, people will ask your ol' pal Buckley to do...
EARLY ACCESS: Reviewing a FEMINIST Joke Book
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/7iIZNFkhwvkHey everyone, it's Early Access Day and this week's video feels like a real throwback type of video, where I've come across something somewhat obscure on the Internet and wanted to share my thoughts about it with you. It's also a little reminder that your ol' pal Buckley is, and has always been, an equal opportunity offender, and I think it's only fair that after we spent last week making fun of Baby Benny's Republican Rap, we look at some... Democratic Drollness? Let's go ...
Bonus #211 - Nicki & Tara: AI Hypocrites
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/-fPX_LftuQgHey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day, and this week it's one of my favorite things to do: expose hypocrisy! Actually, TWO of my favorite things, if you also count "making fun of Nicki Minaj". Enjoy!Generative AI is getting better and better at a rapid rate, and although it still doesn't seem to know how many fingers a human hand has, it IS scary good at replicating voices, which has some entertainers nervous. Buckley looks at Tara Strong and Nicki Minaj, who have both voiced concerns abou...
EARLY ACCESS: Ben Shapiro: Charting Rapper
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/hCpteVTsgBIHey everyone, it's Early Access Day and OHHHH BOY. Sometimes a topic comes along that is, simply, a "Buckley" topic. This is absolutely one of those times. And for those of you who hadn't heard this story? Well... all I can say is both "I'm sorry", and "enjoy".It's the sentence no one ever thought they'd ever say: Ben Shapiro recently became a charting RAPPER. Buckley looks at his collaboration with Canada's Tom MacDonald, a song called "Facts" that ...
Bonus #210 - So, About That Harry Potter Boycott... (Extra Dose)
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/gP8hE_ahDxQHey everyone, it's Bonus Dose Day! I don't really have anything more to say about this one that the YouTube description (below) doesn't already say, so let's just get into it this week. Enjoy!Buckley follows up on his video (and a half) from about a year (and a half?) ago about certain people on Twitter being so upset that a Harry Potter video game was being released, that they claimed anyone who bought it was basically committing a hate crime, in one case going so far as to create a websi...
EARLY ACCESS: Why's Everyone Quitting YouTube?
VIDEO LINK: https://youtu.be/cGDk-cK1rm4Hey everyone, it's Early Access Day, and I hope you'll find this video equal parts interesting and funny, as the idea of "quitting YouTube", taking a break or a hiatus or wanting to switch things up, is a topic I obviously have some hands-on experience with, and over the last few weeks we saw quite a bit of that happening with people far more famous (and who make a lot more money doing this) than me, including guys like MatPat from Game Theory, MeatCanyon, Tom Scott, Joel Haver, and others...
