The ROCKETTES!
The finished product of the poster I showed the WIP of a little while ago! owoIntroducing the hopeful band in the Super Mario AU, the Rockettes! You have Bowsette as your bassist and lead singer, Goombette as the drummer (and occasional costume designer), Chompette as the guitarist and backup vocals, and Vivian that doubles as band manager and, many cases, the Special Effects... specialist. Currently they're mostly hopping from gig to gig, hoping to spread their music around enough to strike it big. They probably aren't terribly interest...
The pleasure is mine ',;) (Super Mario)
And then they smashed! The End! ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗNah but for real; this was one of the sketches I did for October's SotM and I liked it so much I decided to clean it up and slap some colors on it! owoFor context: Peach has just recently been crowned queen in this instance. Technically she is queen in the AU, she just refuses to be called "queen" and prefers the moniker of "princess". It's one of the ways she tries to hold on hope that her father will recover from his illness.Anyway, in this instance, she's greeting and m...
November Sketch of the Month (suggestions!)
Alllllrighty y'all its that time again!! owo Calling for Sketch of the Month suggestions!Basic Idea: You are able to make content requests of any fandom I'm actively a part of; a list will be provided below if needed! I will sketch as many of these requests as I can. All of the ones I do manage to sketch will be placed in a poll for everyone to vote on to be made into a fully cleaned and colored drawing! All sketches will give shoutouts and credit to the people who suggested it in the first place!Rules:-Name the character(s) you'd l...
Once upon a Time (October SotM)
Once upon a time, Bowser was as happy as he could be. And one day, he'll once again find that happiness. uwuThe winner of October's Sketch of the Month is a sweet moment between Bowser and Chai, suggested by Doxiedreg, Kyrit, and Queen Raatha! This one got the most votes out of all the sketches as well! :)This is a good indicator of how rendered future Sketch of the Month winners will be! If the winner turns out to be a comic I'll be fully colored but likely won't have lighting. If it's just one drawing, it'll get the fu...
Nin reporting for duty! (Super Mario AU)
So, when I discovered that an Shibe Nintendog made a canonically appearance in Super Mario Odyssey I just had to incorporate them into the AU!I'd like ya'll to meet Nin, the private detective of Metro Kingdom! He isn't technically a CASO (Council Alliance Special Operations) affiliate but he works closely with the organization, often tasked with investigating disappearances they can't actively work with. This happens often enough due to CASO agents often being tasked with confronting Pirates, so Nin often has his paws full!He...
Art Reward Call Inbound!
Allllrighty ya'll, it's been about a month and is gonna reach month 2 when November 1st rolls around so I wanna get a head start on those art rewards! :)How this'll work is, like I'm doing now, I'll post up a general heads-up where I'll be asking everyone who's eligible for an art reward to keep on the lookout for a DM from me soon via Patreon!Don't worry about forgetting, I'll message you when I'm ready to get those refs and info!To keep myself organized all I ask is that you correspond with me through h...
Ask the Characters! (November)
Allllrighty yall, it's that time again! :)The basic idea: You are free to ask any character of any fandom I'm actively in (including original characters) any question you want! The chosen question will result in a sketch or vignette featuring that character answering said question.Rules:-Name the character you'd like to ask, and type a question-You may ask as many or as few questions as you'd like-Questions must remain SFW-You may also vote on the questions you'd like to see sketched the most: just like the question to count...
Ask the Character 1: Wolf's Encounter
The completed version of the very first Ask the Character! I chose the question generously provided by Sylveon17, who asked the rough and scrappy Wolf the Wooloo (from my Pokemon story) what was the biggest thing she's ever fought and won against.Even though she doesn't know Torch is what actually scared it away, Wolf definitely did give the Garchomp a wallop he won't forget!I hope ya'll enjoy! If the text is a little too hard to read lemme know and I'll go back in to clear it all up! :)Keep your peepers peeled, the next pro...
A good past (WIP)
AWWWWW YEAH! So Bowser and Chai won SotM by a landslide, so here's a quick sneak peek of its progress! The lineart is completed, I just need to go in and paint the BG and the characters before it's done! ^.^For a bit of context, this depicts Bowser and Chai possibly during their wedding, or just a random instance where they finally have some time to relax and enjoy each other's company without the weight of the kingdom bearing down on them. The two of them were very happy with each other (:More content to come soon! ^.^
F&F: Prologue thumbnails
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-EEE. I am now officially beginning work on Feathers and Flowers! as in the actual story portion and my god ya'll I'm super excited!! owo I've held off in the past in trying to do anything like this because of my tendency to try and get everything perfect but fuck it man, we're doing this. And with that I'd like to show ya'll the thumbnails of the title art for the first 5 episodes of Feathers and Flowers!I'm very proud of the results thus far and I'm excited to actually bring them into fr...
Feathers and Flowers: Sneak Peek!
Instead of a visual WIP, have an inside look of the F&F development! owoI've gotten a good chunk of the world development for Feathers and Flowers done!! Lore that's important for the first season of F&F is basically finished, and now I'm finally at a point where I can really focus on the art and story aspect of it! I think my current plan is to complete them in fives: like work on and complete 5 episodes before I begin uploading them and all of that. I'd like for Patreon to be at least 5 episodes ahead of my public media too so...
THE ROCKETTES (WIP)
Another WIP shot of the Rockettes poster I'm workin' on! Also added the completed version of Chompette as an additional sneak peek. >:)I actually don't have much to add this time around so, I hope ya like the result thus far! Keep your peepers open for the completed version soon! owo
Prep for Pride (F&F)
IT'S DONE! owoThe girls getting ready for a very special event in the town :)In the F&F lore Pride does exist in a manner of speaking, but not quite as we know it since the circumstances of it becoming a thing at all is very different. In the F&F universe discrimination towards LGBTQ+ never actually got a chance to happen thanks to very early influence and intervention from Spirits, so sexuality and gender are a non-issue. You are who you are, end of story.I'd imagine this event is a holiday that replaces Valentine's Day (none of th...
SotM Vote (October)
Alllrighty, now that the sketches are up and visible for everyone to see, now is time for voting! I just wanna remind ya'll that this is the one and only time SotM will be made entirely public to my patreon; the rest will be confined to their respective tiers! other than that, lemme know which sketch ya'll would like to see completed!Link to the sketches!
Sketch of the Month choices!
ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLRIGHTY! These are all of the sketches I managed to get done within the span of one week! This will be linked to the poll which will soon be posted as well for ya'll to choose which you want to be fully realized for September's SotM! :)------Sketch 1: Credited to Kaewolfe! They asked for Peach and Pauline going on their first date and this is somewhat of a prelude to that; the day they first officially meet! :)Sketch 2: Credited to Chris Zodiac! They asked for MidZel romance and this is what I came up with! What'...
Companions! (HC)
Everyone, meet the dino friends of the Super Mario gang! :)I know it's mainly because Mario is the main character and therefore needs a "trusty steed" of sorts, I.E Yoshi, but there are times where I wished Luigi and Peach had their own buddies, so that's exactly what I did here! Birdetta is Peach's companion, Peppers is Luigi's, and of course Yoshi is Mario's. uwuYoshi follows Mario around and joins him on his adventures, thereby making him a Spec-Op of the Mushroom Kingdom as well. Long story short he's essenti...
Icon Suggestions!
Currently working on those SotM sketches (I'll upload all the ones I do Saturday or Sunday), so in the meantime I'd love ya'lls suggestions for what I can draw for exclusive Discord emojis for the community server! owo I haven't quite decided if they were gonna be of my patreon mascot Boof, or if it should be a variety of characters from the fandoms I create from? What do ya'll think? O:And what sort of expressions would you like to see for the emojis? The plan as of right now is to make 10 of them! 7 non-animated, the last ...
Prep for Pride! (WIP)
A sketch I initially started when Pride month rolled around, but I'm only just now really putting my back into it! It took me weeks of on-and-off work on this but I've finally have all the girls lined and ready for color! Group drawings are surprisingly hard ;w;Anyway, the gals rep the flags that best represents them! :)Speaking of Feathers and Flowers; with October coming up I'm gonna be trying my hand at OCtober! I'm super excited to give it a go, though I'm admittingly gonna go ahead and give myself a head start ;w; Wish ...
October SotM (suggestions open!)
HOLY SHIT, THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH!! I'm still kinda reeling from the patreon tier changes because of all the things I expected, it wasn't quite that. Thank you all so fuckin' much, you've no idea how much the support means to me!! ;w;As such! I'd like to make my very first Sketch of the Month suggestions open to everyone! This will be the one and only time SotM suggestions will be open to the entirety of my patreon so if interested, leave your suggestion below!Basic Idea: You are able to make content requests of any fand...
Patreon Changes now in effect!
Heyoooooo you all! I wanted to give everyone the headsup that the tier changes are now in effect!Patreon tiers have officially been changed to include all of the new perks, as well as adding the two brand new tiers! While I will announce the changes publicly sometime in the next couple of weeks, and the patreon itself may not seem to run differently, these changes will go into effect immediately starting Monday, meaning anyone who pledges to the new art reward tiers can expect their first reward call by November!A couple of footnotes for questi...
Koopa siblings (doodle)
A freebee doodle I did to get back into the groove of things owo That, and I noticed I hadn't actually drawn Bowser and Bowsette side-by-side in the Super Mario AU, so here they are :)
F&F: Kaela's Farm (concept art)
More concept art for Feathers and Flowers! I figured it'd make my life so much easier if I had some environmental concepts to look at when I write, if only so I have continuity and not like, have to guess the framework of important locations every time I use them in the story. owo So, here's the first of a few environment sketches I hope to work on, this one featuring Kaela's farm!Man-made structure isn't my strongsuit, but I think I'm rather pleased with the overall outcome. I worried myself more on the concept and not so m...
King Boo (HC)
The finished design for King Boo in the Super Mario AU! owoKing Boo in this AU isn't a villain and instead a god; the god of death to be specific. Like all gods (for example, Rosalina), he has little spirits to help him with his job, which is what the regular Boos are; instead of the souls of the dead, they are his little helpers who aid in ferrying the recently deceased to Evershade Valley. As the creator of Boos, he is effectively their "father", and he treats them as his children. Just as well; Boos are generally childlike and pla...
F&F: Li and Terra (Concept art)
I've been hard at work with writing up the lore for Feathers and Flowers! Pretty soon I'll be going into a little more concept art for the characters that need it and some concepts for environment so I have a visual to work with when I write. :) At any rate, here's one such concept art!The first pass of support characters Li and Terra!Terra is 24, the team captain of the Earthball team (the sport Sakura plays) and one of Sakura's buds. They're hardworking, no-nonsense, and can get sassy, but they expect the best out of other...
Ask the Characters! (October)
Allllrighty ya'll, let's play a little game! This is the debut of the monthly character Q&A I wanna try! :) It'll remain open for a couple of weeks so you're free to ask whenever you'd like! The basic idea: You are free to ask any character of any fandom I'm actively in (including original characters) any question you want! The chosen question will result in a sketch or vignette featuring that character answering said question.Rules:-Name the character you'd like to ask, and type a question-You may ask as many or as f...
ROCKETTES (Sketch)
I've been so hard at work with the Feathers and Flowers writing production that I kinda took a mini-break on fanart, and since I've made a decent amount of progress I figured I could sit down and do a little drawing. :)Thus this was sketched out! A quick poster that showcases the hopeful band in the Super Mario AU, the Rockettes! You have Bowsette as your bassist and lead singer, Goombette as the drummer (and occasional costume designer), Chompette as the guitarist and backup vocals, and Vivian that doubles as band manager and, many cas...
Sketch Comics question!
Heyyy so I had a quick question for everyone regarding art content! As far as comics go, do ya'll mind if I post sketched comics and mark it as "completed", or would you rather wait for a completely cleaned up and colored version of the comic? I ask because if I post more sketched comics, I'd be able to get more content out to ya'll much faster. It can also come with the addition of being added to "Sketch of the Month", in which if enough folks vote for it, that particular comic can be chosen to get full color and cl...
You're no seal... (WIP)
The WIP of the upcoming monthly comic! I got hella inspired by a tumblr post I can't seem to find anywhere anymore, and opted to do an original one instead of a fandom one this time. I hope ya'll don't mind!! ;w;That additional image was what I used after I narrowed down the designs to just two iterations for voting. I STILL CANT DECIDE BECAUSE I'm FUCKING WEAK! :c But the image is also a bit of a style test; simplified and sketchy, which I might try for the comic to see how ya'll like it owoAnyway! Since there are no words ...
New OCs concept art
Awwww ye! I'm working on this month's mini-comic and I'm trying to decide on the starring characters' color palette! I'd love y'alls opinion on it if you're able! owo Of the options presented, which do ya'll like more? For reference, the human woman is Sonny, the Shark mermaid is Rayn! I don't quite have personalities for them at the current moment but as a super basic idea if it helps your choosing:Sonny would be very friendly and mild-mannered. She'd be a surfer or a lifeguard hence her frequent visits t...
The Spirit (WIP)
"Shh, easy..."Kaela held her hands out in a placating manner, daring to take one step deeper into the brush the entity tucked itself into. She froze when dark feathers rippled across the giant creature. It snapped its maw at her with a threatening hiss, the vast expanse of its tattered wings shuddering outward in an impressive display. Its warning is clear: stay away. But Kaela can't bring herself to leave it be. She watches rivets of blood trudge down matted feathers, between bared teeth to collect under its chin before dripping to ...
