I've been fighting with this illustration for the better part of a month so I'm just calling it DONE NOW!! I think it's probably pretty good, but I am still very insecure when it comes to digital coloring (somehow, after making an entire 90 page fully-colored comic) so it's just very hard for me to feel satisfied with the final product!! HEY, I got Covid! Oh no! I have some coughing, fatigue, and a really gnarly voice right now. I'm fully vaccinated but wasn't able to get my booster yet, so this is likely an Omicron breakthrough case (since I live in Massachusetts.) IT SUCKS!! Right now I'm recovering for a few days and taking it easy, I have to quarantine until at least the 27th. I'm hoping this passes without major incident, but I'm keeping a close eye on my health. Really these comics have kinda been a test-run to see how the comic might look in grayscale with heavy inking, vs fully colored. Chapter 2 will probably look like this, which I hope is exciting to hear and not too disappointing!
