Watch the gap
This release partially fulfills a Patron request, which was to make adapters that let you use the dungeon-stone stairs with wall-on-tile sets. Depending on how you’re laying out your map, a staircase next to a wall could leave a gap in the wall. This project was inspired by, and contributed to by one of the patrons. Nirzhuk suggested this idea, and also contributed initial designs, and a number of the wall hangings. It’s hip to be square
These risers let you turn rounded staircases into squares, giving you more options in your multilevel stone design.This is the last release for the 6x dungeon stone stairs. I'm really excited about this set because it lets you really see how the other parts all come together to create some great terrain. How to Print Your Dragon
Every home office needs a watchful dragon protector. I melded the design for this dragon (by MakerBot) and this articulated slug (by Brandon Blinkenberg) to make this articulated dragon. Files are free on Thingiverse.My kids love the articulated slug, and I just felt that the world needed an articulated dragon. Single Piece Wall on Tile
Some people have been looking for merged prints for wall on tile. That they have a wall and a floor confuses people, as they think it's Separate Wall.There are a lot of wall + floor size combinations for wall tiles. I'm still going to be streaming out dungeon stone misc releases as the remaining releases there are all larger projects, so I'll keep dedicating a release per month to that until I've got them all. With the USB project, we needed to focus on that, and kinda missed doing the vote. That being said, 6x curved stairs had a commanding lead, so we started that last month. RISE ABOVE WITH 6X CURVED RISERS
Like Obi-Wan Kenobi, you too can have the high ground with 6x (radius) curved stairs in 4 different heights, with versions 1x (11.25 degrees), 2x (22.5 degrees) and 4x (45 degrees) around. I updated older files to add 1x-wide risers so you can rotate the set exactly one square, giving you more precise control of your layout. I also went back and added the full 4 heights of 1x-wide (22.5 degrees) for 4x. Dungeon Stone Boss Door
I sculpted this as a part of a tutorial from Grant Abbit. Most of the tutorials I do to help increase my sculpting skills don't have direct application to OpenForge, but this one did, so after completing the tutorial, I thought it would be fun to release it as well.This print requires supports, no way around that, and the versions with skulls may be a struggle to print on FDM. 60 degree walls
First up for this month, we have 60 degree walls. Like the floors, these line up with the square tiles, because they are exactly 2, 3, 4 inches per side. They can be used for creating y intersection, and hex (or portions of a hex) shaped room. This gives the first and most critical tile for this room shape. Last post of the year
Last release is cleaning up a few more things as we get ready to make the 2022 OpenForge zip files and sd cards.This last release has a number of updates. First, the braziers that originally came from some of the encounters got updated to add block texture floors. Next year I'll make sure to get all of the encounters updated as well. Dungeon Stone Torch Pillars
Pillars get the torch treatment! The photos are only showing one of the 5 versions of torches on the pillars. Each pillar has the option of 1, 2 (L), 2 (either side), T and all four sides.There are SO many variations I could make for this, so I decided to go with the pillars that are the same height as most tiles. Dungeon Stone Full Pillars (Update)
First release for the month, we've got reworked full pillars for dungeon stone. There are four major updates to the files in this release. Like most dungeon stone updates, the pillars now have the new block floor texture as an option. the simpler pillars I think fit the style of the old floors. Dungeon Stone Portcullis Corners
Turns out that I missed a few things when doing the first complete set with dungeon stone. One of them was portcullis corners. Here we have it done both in block and eroded floor textures.I'm trying to make sure there are no missing components, and this month is a bit of cleanup on that front. The other two releases finish out some misses on the dungeon stone corners. Next month we'll be ready to dive into the next set we will complete.
