Old development sketch of Leeds
This is from early 2015, back when we were developing Barbarous. Most of what's changed about Leeds since his initial design is that Yuko has refined his shaped.
OFFHAND Page 1
Hey! We'll be running a few of the comics from OFFHAND on the website as a way of highlighting what the book is all about. Here's the first one!You can back the OFFHAND Kickstarter here. OFFHAND is a collection of art Yuko drew with her non-dominant hand from 2012-2017.
OFFHAND kickstarter is live!
Patrons get an early crack at our newest book, OFFHAND!What is OFFHAND? OFFHAND is a collection of art that Yuko drew with her non-dominant hand, after she began dealing with wrist issues. It collects art in chronological order from 2012 to 2017, and each section isbridged by brand new comics that thread together the narrative of Yuko's life during this period. We're making it in the same format as CUTTINGS, Yuko's previous art book, so that they'll fit nicely on a shelf together. Check it out!
Natasha (ink & watercolor)
Dusted off some real media to do a piece of gift art! I don't think I've worked with a brush since finishing Lucky Penny! ππ¦

Vintage Marvel Fashion
I was dared by Hannah Blumenreich to do a riff on some old Marvel fashion so I did β¨
Percy: left/right
Was going to ink these comics left handed and then decided it'd be 10x faster if I didn't! Original inks to the left/dominant hand to the right.
Diediedieruma
There's this thing in the Overwatch fandom that's Reaper, but a blob. And I realized that they remind me a lot of daruma?? Also: I don't think you're supposed to put anything inside an enso, but I hope you can forgive me for the sake of aesthetics.
