Big rush

Drawing pages for GS is so time consuming I hardly seem to have time for promotional art. Here's one I started some time ago and finally finished today. Tried to go for sort of a fake screenshot look.

Ole Kaskos

I almost went with this design. I still quite like it.

It's such a nice feeling to finally have some characters meet. For now they're just faces in the crowd, though.[ Download for full size ]

Testing Usma

Some sketches I did to test the design I settled with.

Cameo call 2 - batch 3

More!( If you were Magpie pledger and expressed interest in DMs or dA but didn't yet submit a reference on the Cameo call post, please do so before May 31th. I can't include you without a ref and/or confirmation. )

What a nice herd reunion... Not one sire in this comic qualify as likeable I guess, but this one might be the worst so far!Kasko addresses him as chief, which is a less respectful version of sire. His name is Rokkus, although it's not relevant.[Download for full-size]

Cameo call 2 slots are filled!

I was going to keep them open until the last of this month, but I've already got so many I need to close them. Everyone who submitted their characters are in!If you were Magpie pledger and expressed interest in DMs or dA but didn't yet submit a reference on the Cameo call post, please do so before May 31th.

Designing Antaras

The doodles on two last pieces were the first of Antaras. I wasn't sure what I was looking for, but the middle image kind of did it for me. Bendy-Ears is there on the first pic, with her original coloring.

More friends!

Storyborads 17

Aand the last roughs of the 3rd chapter. I am a lazy writer so enjoy those squiggles.

Usma concepts

Usma was supposed to be a red deer with a story line quite different from what I settled with. I put the red of her coat into her eyes and tried to go with piebald, but ended up with albino.

Cameo Call 2 - batch 1

These little cameo refs are a little extra for Magpie pledgers. I'll be making these whenever I have the time.

Cameo call 2!

THE SLOTS ARE FILLED!Tis time again! I know the earlier cameos haven't yet showed up (they'll appear from page 81 to 104), but I'm soon going to be working on a scene on chapter 5 that I could use some cameos.Cameos will be passing background characters. Some might have little lines, but 99% of the time they'll be there just looking pretty. Cameos may be submitted by those whose current or new pledge is to Magpie tier. (One month's worth is all good, you don't have to uphold the pledge if you don't feel like it.Here&...
